Fujian Science Museum, known as the most distinctive and featured science museum in modern China, is one of those established during the earlier period. Its overarching aim is to popularize scientific knowledge for the people, and provide guidance for the school education. The Fujian Science Museum actively devotes itself to promoting the development of popular education through a host of methods such as scientific speech, handbooks or movies of scientific knowledge, and the like. The paper, mainly focusing on an analysis of construction process, organizational structure and significance of Fujian Provincial Science Museum, expounds on various scientific educational activities carried out by the Republic Fujian Science Museum, and makes a further discussion and research on the popular science education function of science museum.
