The author recalls how it helps him embark on a journey for a pursuit of scientific research by immersing himself into science popularization readings during the boyhood. The good doings are manifested in the following areas: Science popularization and media reinforce each other, especially in the fact that new media is of great importance to science popularization work. Some thought on how to do a great job in science popularization lectures and prospective dream for science popularization endeavors are also illustrated in the paper. In a nutshell, the author hopes to put more energy and time on producing original science popularization works in the future.
