The overflow of mysticism in Russia has some deep social and historical reasons and which generates a wide range of social impact. By analyzing the phenomenon of the mysticism in Russia, this paper concludes that its overflow was mainly due to the fall of reason, the support of government and the boosting of media. The overflow of mysticism had affected the process of the disintegration of the former Soviet Union to some extent, and influenced a generation of young people.
