The special effect movies have the function of demonstrating the movie-related scientific and technological achievements and spreading the scientific knowledge and spirit, but they still face the problems such as lack of resources, limited influence, etc. To give play to their role of science popularization and promote their sustainable development, we should have trials in participating in construction of experiential theater, design of interactive activities and independent making of the movies, and function expansion of science popularization of special effect movies.
