The Eastern Miscellanies is a comprehensive journal that has published for the longest time in modern China and has a great important influence. In the Japanese-Chinese War, The Eastern Miscellanies contains a lot scientific and technological content and transmits technology actively. The articles on science and technology in The Eastern Miscellanies give priority to comments and the news are less. The technical articles are closely related to the social environment. The way that pictures are combined with texts improves the communication effect.
