The discussion on exhibition innovation has significant theoretical and practical importance. From the aspect of science development history, this paper analyzes the position of exhibition design and development throughout the science development history, defines the connotation of exhibition innovation and explains the essence of exhibition innovation. Exhibition innovation is the creation on the basis of knowledge, the integration of products and knowledge, which is the pursuit of modern exhibition innovation.
