Outline
In his academic career, Zhu Xi communicated scientific knowledge in various ways. Through annotating classics or teaching, he communicated the knowledge about nature combining with scientific thoughts. He even once edited a popular astronomy book Bu Tiange (步天歌). Zhu Xi's practice in communicating scientific knowledge played an active role for the development of science and technology at that time.
