Being a major organization dedicating on the enterprise of science communication, America Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) initiated various kinds of colorful activities to promote the development of science communication, especially the programs on informal science education. This paper tries to give a presentation of the features and trends of these programs in these years by the analysis of individual cases of them, hoping to bring some suggestions on the development of similar activities in China.
