In this paper the subjects of mobile scientific popularization equipment and education objects in different countries are summarized based on the types and data of caravans for scientific popularization at home and abroad, and the basic functions and future development direction of caravans for scientific popularization in our country are proposed through functional analysis and comparison of caravans for scientific popularization at home and abroad.
