Technology is one of the most important themes for exhibition in Science and Technology Museums. But most exhibition designers only present technology to visitors instead of exhibits' cultural connotations. From that sense, people will find it difficult to understand the role of technology played in society, the great significance of every technological revolution and the direction of technological reform in the future. Through a case study for Plants and People exhibition in Kew Gardens, we know that if we introduce anthropological theories to popular science exhibitions, we can build up a more complete cultural picture about technology to help visitors understand those cultural connotation therein.
