The twenty-first Century is the era with rapid science and technology development. People are eager to improve their science literacy in order to meet the needs of social development. The combination of popular science and tourism offers a good way for the spread of science and technology. This study summarizes research progress of popular science tourism at home and abroad in terms of concept, resource, development, strategy, and feartured popular science tourism. And it also reviewes the research progress of popular science tourism.
