This paper reviews the development process about China’s popular science art based on historical documents, and interviews and investigations; divides popular science art into traditional science art and new media art stages by considering whether new media and technologies are widely used in the field of popular art or not; and specifically investigates popular science art in terms of popular science creative team, popular science works, popular science art activities and popular Science Association development.
