The failure of Sci-Tech innovation financial market mechanism needs to be remedied by the government. By using AHP-DEA(analytic hierarchy process-data envelopment analysis) method, the government performance of Sci-Tech innovation financial in Hangzhou from 2007 to 2021 was analyzed. The results show that the government promotion efficiency of Sci-Tech innovation financial in Hangzhou is W-shaped, and the scale efficiency is relatively high. The promotion performance of the government has been increasing year by year, but stagnated from 2012 to 2013, mainly because the growth of input and output promoted by the government slows down or falls, and the efficiency was low. The government of Hangzhou should further increase the scale, optimize the structure, innovate the modes of input and increase the input and output of science and technology innovation to improve the performance.
