Xueyan Guo obtained his MSc degree in 2021 from Southwest Jiaotong University, majoring in civil engineering. His research during that period focused on the stability of deposit slopes under strong seismic loading. He is now pursuing a PhD in geotechnical engineering at Chongqing University, where his work primarily explores the degradation mechanisms of rock masses in the hydrofluctuation belt in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, as well as the static and dynamic stability of dangerous rock masses.
