Hanyu Hu is currently pursuing his master degree under the supervision of Prof. Jiangbo Xi at Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT). He received B.S. degree in applied chemistry from WIT, China, in 2020. His research interests mainly include the design and synthesis of single-atom catalysts as well as metal-free carbocatalysts for organic reactions

Jiangbo Xi is currently a distinguished professor in the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering at Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT), China. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees from WIT, and his Ph.D. degree in 2015 from University of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. His current research topics are focused on the design and synthesis of single-atom catalysts as well as metal-free carbocatalysts for organic reactions
