I. Journal Introduction

Uranium Mining and Metallurgy (ISSN 1000-8063, CN 11-1969/TL) is a China science and technology Core Journal and Core Journal of Atomic Energy Technology, sponsored by the China Nuclear Society and supervised by China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC). It is dedicated to reporting the latest research achievements and technological progress in fields such as uranium resource exploration, mining, smelting, environmental protection, and comprehensive resource utilization.

II. Topics

Focusing on hot issues in uranium mining and metallurgy, national key R&D programs, and the intelligent and digital transformation of uranium mining and metallurgy, scholars are invited to contribute manuscripts in the following directions (including but not limited to):

1. Green and Efficient Uranium Exploration and Evaluation Technologies (Abbr: Uranium Exploration)

   Numerical simulation technology for uranium exploration;

   Theory and technology for deep uranium ore detection;

   Assessment and development of unconventional uranium.

2. Green Uranium Mining and Ecological Remediation (Abbr: Uranium Mining & Remediation)

   Numerical optimization of uranium mining processes;

   Intelligent mineral processing and leaching, digital twin of mining and metallurgy processes;

   Optimization of in-situ leaching technology, low environmental disturbance processes, and development of low-permeability ore deposits;

   Numerical prediction and assessment of environmental impacts of uranium mining and metallurgy;

   Pollution control and ecological restoration technologies in uranium mining areas.

III. Submission Requirements

1. Manuscript Types: Original review papers, research papers, and application-oriented papers.

2. Format Specifications: Refer to the template in the “Author Guidelines” on the official website of Uranium Mining and Metallurgy (https://ykyi.cbpt.cnki.net).

3. Quality Standards: Papers must have clear arguments, sufficient evidence, reliable data, logical organization, concise language, and accurate terminology.

   Research papers should accurately reflect the latest achievements in the research field, emphasizing innovation and improvement.

   Application-oriented papers should practically demonstrate research ideas, new technologies/methods adopted, practical application effects, and promotion value.

   Review papers should analyze the research status and progress in a certain field, propose development directions, with rigorous logic and distinct viewpoints.

   All manuscripts must pass academic misconduct detection (similarity index≤5%).
