To achieve economical and efficient recovery of iron from the vanadium-titanium magnetite ore resources in a typical mining area of Panxi, a systematical process mineralogy analysis was conducted for representative and comprehensive ore samples from this area. On this basis, experimental studies were carried out, including pretreatment of coarse ore for tailings discarding, staged grinding and low-intensity magnetic separation (LIMS) processes. The results show that iron in the ore mainly occurs in titanomagnetite, which has a complex dissemination with ilmenite and gangue minerals. Moreover, exsolution textures such as fine-grained ilmenite lamellae are widely developed in titanomagnetite, which is the key factor restricting the improvement of iron concentrate grade. The comprehensive ore sample was processed by adopting a process of wet pre-discarding, three-stage staged grinding and three-stage LIMS, and an iron concentrate grading 57.98% TFe was obtained with a TFe recovery of 61.99%.

为实现攀西某典型矿区钒钛磁铁矿资源中铁元素的经济高效回收，针对该矿区具有代表性的综合矿样开展了系统工艺矿物学分析，并在此基础上进行了粗粒预先抛尾、阶段磨矿-弱磁选等试验研究。结果表明，矿石中的铁主要赋存于钛磁铁矿中，但其与钛铁矿、脉石矿物嵌布关系复杂，且钛磁铁矿中普遍发育微细粒钛铁矿片晶等固溶体分离结构，是影响铁精矿品位提升的关键因素。采用湿式抛尾、三段磨矿-三段弱磁选工艺处理该矿区综合样，获得了TFe回收率61.99%、TFe品位57.98%的铁精矿。
