Effects of roasting temperature and heating rate on the crystalline form evolution of calcium arsenate during heat treatment were investigated. The heat-treated calcium arsenate was leached by strong acids (sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, aqua regia), and the relationship between the crystalline form of calcium arsenate and arsenic concentration in leaching solution was investigated. The results show that calcium arsenate undergoes significant crystalline form transition during roasting process, and higher roasting temperature can result in higher degree of crystallization. The heat-treated calcium arsenate is leached with acids and it is shown that less arsenic is leached out as the roasting temperature rises. After calcium arsenate is subjected to roasting at 500 ℃, the concentration of arsenic in the leaching solution can meet GB 5085.3—2007. After calcium arsenate is subjected to a roasting process at 900 ℃ and above, the concentration of arsenic in the leaching solution satisfied GB 3838—2002.

考察了砷酸钙热处理过程中焙烧温度和升温速率对砷酸钙晶型转化的影响,使用强酸(硫酸、硝酸、盐酸、王水)对热处理后的砷酸钙进行浸出,研究了砷酸钙晶型转变程度与砷浸出量之间的关系。结果表明,焙烧过程中砷酸钙发生明显晶型转变,且焙烧温度越高,砷酸钙晶型转变程度越高;对热处理后砷酸钙进行酸浸,砷浸出量随着焙烧温度升高而减少;砷酸钙经500 ℃焙烧后,酸浸液中砷含量符合GB 5085.3—2007标准要求,砷酸钙经900 ℃及以上温度焙烧后浸出液中砷含量满足GB 3838—2002标准要求。

考察了砷酸钙热处理过程中焙烧温度和升温速率对砷酸钙晶型转化的影响,使用强酸(硫酸、硝酸、盐酸、王水)对热处理后的砷酸钙进行浸出,研究了砷酸钙晶型转变程度与砷浸出量之间的关系。结果表明,焙烧过程中砷酸钙发生明显晶型转变,且焙烧温度越高,砷酸钙晶型转变程度越高;对热处理后砷酸钙进行酸浸,砷浸出量随着焙烧温度升高而减少;砷酸钙经500 ℃焙烧后,酸浸液中砷含量符合GB 5085.3—2007标准要求,砷酸钙经900 ℃及以上温度焙烧后浸出液中砷含量满足GB 3838—2002标准要求。

Effects of roasting temperature and heating rate on the crystalline form evolution of calcium arsenate during heat treatment were investigated. The heat-treated calcium arsenate was leached by strong acids (sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, aqua regia), and the relationship between the crystalline form of calcium arsenate and arsenic concentration in leaching solution was investigated. The results show that calcium arsenate undergoes significant crystalline form transition during roasting process, and higher roasting temperature can result in higher degree of crystallization. The heat-treated calcium arsenate is leached with acids and it is shown that less arsenic is leached out as the roasting temperature rises. After calcium arsenate is subjected to roasting at 500 ℃, the concentration of arsenic in the leaching solution can meet GB 5085.3—2007. After calcium arsenate is subjected to a roasting process at 900 ℃ and above, the concentration of arsenic in the leaching solution satisfied GB 3838—2002.

有色金属冶金过程中常产出大量高酸度和高砷含量的废水和污泥[1-2],处理不当会导致严重的环境问题[3-4]。学者们探讨了含砷废水和污泥处理方法[5-9],如通过电石渣和漂白粉联用对含砷污泥进行稳定固化、使用水泥回转窑共处置含砷污泥、利用三维电极反应器电吸附深度处理含砷废水、使用石灰沉淀法处理含砷废水等,这些方法产出的含砷废渣中砷以砷酸钙形态存在,但此类砷酸钙稳定性较差,长期堆存,砷离子可能重新进入土壤或水体,对环境造成潜在危害。为了使砷酸钙中砷离子稳固化或无害化,前人进行了大量研究[10-12],尝试了诸多处理方法,其中热处理砷酸钙固砷是较佳选择。本文通过液相法合成砷酸钙,然后对砷酸钙进行热处理,通过XRD、FTIR、SEM-EDS等微观表征手段研究不同焙烧温度下砷酸钙晶型转变规律,并通过酸浸法研究砷酸钙晶型与固砷之间的关系,可为含砷废渣无害化处理或砷固化提供一定的理论依据。
试验试剂氢氧化钠、盐酸、硫酸、硝酸、氯化钙均为分析纯,雌黄为工业级试剂。
试验设备包括磁力搅拌器(ZNCL-TS)、抽滤机、小型管式炉(OTF-1200X)。
1)碱浸:称取50 g雌黄,取与雌黄反应化学计量过剩20%的氢氧化钠溶于300 mL纯水中,缓慢将雌黄加入氢氧化钠溶液中,常温(28.5 ℃)条件下使用磁力搅拌器搅拌浸出1 h,最后通过抽滤获得砷酸钠溶液。
2)沉淀:将砷酸钠溶液与过量的质量分数20%的氯化钙溶液混合,得到砷酸钙沉淀。将获得的砷酸钙沉淀分离、过滤、洗涤、干燥2 h,研磨成粉末,即为砷酸钙粉末。
取0.5 g砷酸钙粉末,放入小型管式炉中,以某一升温速率升至所需温度,恒温焙烧2 h后取出。管式炉后设置了挥发砷的收集装置。
采用红外光谱、扫描电镜及能谱等分析不同焙烧温度下热处理后砷酸钙的晶型转变情况。
取1 g不同焙烧温度所得热处理砷酸钙粉末,加入50 mL不同强酸中,置于磁力搅拌器中以300 r/min持续搅拌5 min,稀释500倍后,以ICP测试浸出砷浓度,验证砷酸钙晶型转变程度和固化砷的效果。
将热处理后的砷酸钙按照HJ/T 299—2007《固体废物 浸出毒性浸出方法 硫酸硝酸法》进行破碎和浸出,采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱仪测出浸出液砷浓度,对其进行毒性分析。
所制备的砷酸钙XRF分析结果如表1所示,XRD图谱如图1所示。砷酸钙主要元素为As、Ca、O,其他元素为Fe、Al、S等杂质。砷酸钙XRD图谱为漫散射图形,没有出现明显的衍射峰,砷酸钙主要以非晶型结构存在。这种状态下所固化的砷极容易渗出。砷酸钙的砷浸出毒性测定结果表明,浸出液中砷质量浓度为16.2 mg/L,远超过GB 5085.3—2007《危险废物鉴别标准 浸出毒性鉴别》以及GB 3838—2002《地表水环境质量标准》的限值,因此需要对其进行稳固化处理。
升温速率5和10 ℃/min条件下700 ℃焙烧所得砷酸钙XRD图谱如图2所示,经过焙烧后,砷酸钙出现了衍射峰,其晶型有了一定变化;对比焙烧前样品XRD图谱,发现衍射峰峰强和位置变化不大,说明升温速率对晶型转变影响较小。
升温速率10 ℃/min,未焙烧以及不同焙烧温度焙烧后所得砷酸钙XRD图谱如图3所示。砷酸钙焙烧前后XRD图谱有明显差异,焙烧后样品衍射峰越来越分明,焙烧温度越高,衍射峰峰强越明显,砷酸钙晶型结构越好。焙烧温度500 ℃时,材料中开始出现衍射峰,经过物相分析,其对应的峰主要为Fe4As2O11,有关砷酸钙的峰还不明显。焙烧温度700 ℃时,出现了Ca3(AsO42·8H2O衍射峰。焙烧温度800 ℃时,衍射峰更明显,主要物相为FeAsO4与Ca2As2O7,其中Ca3(AsO42·8H2O脱离结合水转变为Ca2As2O7,砷酸钙盐脱除结晶水,砷酸钙晶型开始由非晶态向晶态转变,其内部结构也更稳定。焙烧温度900 ℃时,砷酸钙物相主要以Ca3(AsO42形式存在,无明显杂峰,基本完成非晶态向晶态的转变。其主要原因是大部分AsO43-在高温条件下与Ca2+结合,形成稳定的砷酸盐;此外,砷酸钙经过高温稳定后,As参与反应,形成相应的玻璃体,具有很好的稳定性,砷酸钙中砷的浸出毒性大大降低。
升温速率10 ℃/min,未焙烧以及不同焙烧温度所得砷酸钙的FTIR图如图4所示。400~900 cm-1出现较明显的吸收峰,对应AsO43-的振动条带;随着焙烧温度上升,AsO43-的峰强越来越小。这是因为红外吸收峰的强度与分子振动时偶极矩变化值的平方成正比,振动时瞬间偶极矩变化越大,吸收峰越强,而偶极矩变化值又与分子结构对称性有关,分子结构越对称,偶极矩变化值越小,吸收峰峰强也就越弱。说明随着焙烧温度升高,AsO43-分子结构对称性越来越好,进一步说明随着焙烧温度提高,砷酸钙晶型转变程度越来越高。
升温速率10 ℃/min,未焙烧以及不同焙烧温度下所得砷酸钙SEM图如图5所示。未焙烧砷酸钙原料微观形貌松散,无晶型;随着焙烧温度升高,晶体形态开始变得规则,500 ℃焙烧所得砷酸钙形貌变得紧致,结晶度增加,逐渐呈现一定的晶体形态,600 ℃焙烧所得砷酸钙微观形貌转变程度更明显,晶体形态开始变得规整,700~900 ℃焙烧所得砷酸钙晶体为块状,结构紧致,1 000 ℃焙烧所得砷酸钙结构致密。随着焙烧温度升高,砷酸钙微观形貌变得越来越紧致,晶型转变程度越来越高。一定的焙烧温度有利于形成结晶度高、形貌较好的晶体,这可能是由于在相对较高温度时砷酸钙具有较高的热力学稳定性。500~600 ℃焙烧时,砷酸钙形貌呈小颗粒球形,随着焙烧温度升高,聚集的颗粒(直径约0.3 μm)形态逐渐转变为表面光滑的平整块状形态。这些非晶态、弱结晶态和结晶态的典型形态证实了砷酸钙的结晶过程。
图6为未焙烧和1 000 ℃焙烧后砷酸钙EDS图谱,两种样品EDS元素质量对比结果见表2。未焙烧砷酸钙主要元素为氧、砷、钙,含有少量铁、铝杂质。砷酸钙由硫化砷、氢氧化钠、氯化钙制备而来,存在微量的硫、氯元素是合理的。焙烧后其主要元素没有改变,杂质元素质量比降低,说明通过高温焙烧后砷酸钙更纯净。
升温速率5和10 ℃/min,各焙烧温度下焙烧所得砷酸钙在盐酸中浸出,砷浸出量如图7所示。从图7可直观看出,焙烧温度越高,砷浸出量越低。这是因为高温焙烧后,砷酸钙从松散的晶型转变成块状紧致的晶型,使得砷更难以被浸出,这与焙烧温度越高晶型转化程度越高相吻合。晶型转换程度越高,砷酸钙固化的砷就越稳定,浸出率越低。通过对比可知,焙烧时升温速率的变化对砷浸出量的影响不大,进一步说明了焙烧的升温速率对晶型转变程度影响不大。通过控制焙烧温度,砷酸钙可高温固化形成一种稳定的固化体,显著降低砷酸钙中砷的浸出毒性,实现砷的固化。有研究表明,这类化学稳定性与玻璃固化体的形成及砷被包裹或参与玻璃体结构形成密切相关[13]
升温速率10 ℃/min,不同焙烧温度砷酸钙在硫酸、硝酸、盐酸及王水等强酸中的砷浸出量如图8所示。随着焙烧温度升高,各强酸的砷浸出量都越来越少,这说明随着焙烧温度提高,砷酸钙固化砷的效果更好,也进一步说明松散的砷酸钙结构向整体玻璃化结构发展,酸浸过程中,砷浸出量降低,说明砷酸钙稳定性更高了。
按标准HJ/T 299—2007《固体废物 浸出毒性浸出方法 硫酸硝酸法》进行破碎和浸出,不同温度下砷酸钙中砷浸出量如表3所示。500 ℃焙烧后砷酸钙浸出液中砷含量符合GB 5085.3—2007标准要求,焙烧温度900 ℃以上焙烧后砷酸钙浸出液中砷含量满足GB 3838—2002标准要求。
1)砷酸钙经高温热处理后晶型由无定形态、稳定性低的砷酸钙类化合物向具有特定晶型、稳定性高的砷酸钙转变,使得原本溶解度大的砷酸钙转变为溶解度小的砷酸钙,焙烧温度越高,酸浸时砷浸出量越小。焙烧温度越高,砷酸钙XRD衍射峰越明显,表明热处理后物相晶型发育趋于完整,非晶态转变为具有一定晶型的形态,达到了稳定的化学状态。
2)高温热处理前,砷酸钙晶体微观形貌松散,颗粒分明,表明粗糙孔洞多,整体呈现为颗粒球形;热处理后,砷酸钙晶粒变大充填,转变为紧致的块状,呈现良好的结晶度。且焙烧温度越高,其形貌转变程度越高,亦可证明升高焙烧温度有利于提高砷酸钙的稳定性。
3)将不同焙烧温度的砷酸钙按标准HJ/T 299—2007《固体废物 浸出毒性浸出方法 硫酸硝酸法》进行破碎和浸出,毒性浸出结果表明:500 ℃焙烧后砷酸钙浸出液中砷含量符合GB 5085.3—2007标准要求,900 ℃以上焙烧后砷酸钙浸出液中砷含量满足GB 3838—2002标准要求。
