To address issues such as land occupation and environmental hazards caused by stockpiling residues that are left after vanadium extraction from stone-like coal in the Western Hunan, a resource utilization scheme involving deep separation of carbon and ash was proposed. Firstly, coarse-grained minerals with ash content more than 94% were obtained by sieving, and the fine-grained undersize minerals were then subjected to flotation. A closed-circuit flotation test produced a concentrate with fixed carbon content of 32.86% and a higher heating value of 9 832 kJ/kg, which could meet the calorific requirement for the coal added in boilers. The recovery of combustible matter was 73.50%, while the obtained tailings had an ash content of 96.14%, with a yield of 78.42%, and the loss on ignition was 4.98%. The toxicity test confirmed that hazardous components in the high-ash tailings did not exceed limits. Based on preliminary economic estimates, it is concluded that this technical approach is economically feasible.

针对湘西某石煤酸浸提钒后尾渣堆存占用土地资源、造成巨大环境安全隐患等问题,提出了尾渣深度炭灰分离的资源化利用方案。采用筛分-浮选的方法,通过筛分得到灰分大于94%的粗粒级灰分矿物后,对筛下细粒级矿物进行浮选,闭路浮选所得富炭精矿固定碳含量可达32.86%,高位发热量为9 832 kJ/kg,可满足锅炉掺烧煤的热值要求,可燃体回收率为73.50%;尾矿灰分96.14%,产率78.42%,烧失量为4.98%,浸出毒性检测结果显示高灰分尾矿产品危害成分含量均未超出限值。简单的经济估算结果表明,该技术方案具有一定经济可行性。

针对湘西某石煤酸浸提钒后尾渣堆存占用土地资源、造成巨大环境安全隐患等问题,提出了尾渣深度炭灰分离的资源化利用方案。采用筛分-浮选的方法,通过筛分得到灰分大于94%的粗粒级灰分矿物后,对筛下细粒级矿物进行浮选,闭路浮选所得富炭精矿固定碳含量可达32.86%,高位发热量为9 832 kJ/kg,可满足锅炉掺烧煤的热值要求,可燃体回收率为73.50%;尾矿灰分96.14%,产率78.42%,烧失量为4.98%,浸出毒性检测结果显示高灰分尾矿产品危害成分含量均未超出限值。简单的经济估算结果表明,该技术方案具有一定经济可行性。

To address issues such as land occupation and environmental hazards caused by stockpiling residues that are left after vanadium extraction from stone-like coal in the Western Hunan, a resource utilization scheme involving deep separation of carbon and ash was proposed. Firstly, coarse-grained minerals with ash content more than 94% were obtained by sieving, and the fine-grained undersize minerals were then subjected to flotation. A closed-circuit flotation test produced a concentrate with fixed carbon content of 32.86% and a higher heating value of 9 832 kJ/kg, which could meet the calorific requirement for the coal added in boilers. The recovery of combustible matter was 73.50%, while the obtained tailings had an ash content of 96.14%, with a yield of 78.42%, and the loss on ignition was 4.98%. The toxicity test confirmed that hazardous components in the high-ash tailings did not exceed limits. Based on preliminary economic estimates, it is concluded that this technical approach is economically feasible.

石煤钒矿作为有多种伴生金属元素的含钒炭质页岩矿物,是我国极具特色和优势的提钒资源[1]。随着钒需求的日益增长,越来越多的石煤钒矿作为重要的提钒资源被开采。石煤钒矿的有序开发和高效资源化利用已成为支撑我国提钒产业可持续发展的重要保障。目前石煤提钒工艺主要包括焙烧、浸出、离子净化、沉淀和煅烧等[2]。就酸浸提钒工艺而言,石煤中钒品位较低,在浸出过程中需要加入大量硫酸熟化,产生的提钒尾渣含酸量高导致腐蚀性强从而不能丢弃、填埋,而且提钒尾渣没有经过焙烧导致其烧失量大不能被直接作为建筑材料使用[3]。如果能将提钒尾渣中的炭质富集起来,使其热值满足锅炉掺烧煤的要求,将有利于缓解贫煤地区的能源紧张,剩余的石英和铝硅酸盐等无机脉石矿物可用于合成地质聚合物、作胶固充填材料、制备免烧陶粒等[4-7]
本文以湘西某石煤钒矿酸浸提钒尾渣为研究对象,通过浮选条件试验,研究了矿浆pH值、抑制剂、捕收剂及其用量对浮选效果的影响。利用“筛分-浮选”的分选方法,将尾渣中的炭质物与石英等无机脉石矿物分离开来。对分离所得的产品进行相关检测来验证其生产价值,并以此为基础对技术方案进行了简单的经济估算。
试验原料取自湘西某石煤钒矿酸浸提钒尾渣。对样品进行了全工业分析,结果如表1所示。该石煤提钒尾渣中固定碳含量(质量分数,下同)7.98%,干燥基高位发热量为3 251 kJ/kg,热值低不能直接作为锅炉掺烧煤,必须将炭质富集使其热值超过8 368 kJ/kg才能作为锅炉掺烧煤使用。挥发分只有2.28%,表明尾渣中炭以无烟煤为主,煤阶较高。空气干燥基全硫含量较高,硫分主要来源于尾渣中的硫酸盐。
为探究样品中无机灰分矿物组成,对样品进行了X射线荧光和衍射光谱分析(为防止样品中的无固定晶型的碳影响其他元素的分析结果,测试前对样品进行了灼烧处理)。XRF元素分析结果见表2,XRD衍射图谱见图1
由于提钒工序中加入了大量的硫酸熟化,石煤中的金属氧化物大都以硫酸盐形式赋存。XRD和XRF元素分析结果显示样品中无机灰分矿物包含大量二氧化硅、少量硫酸盐(硫酸钙、硫酸铁、硫酸铝和少量其他金属硫酸盐)。上述灰分矿物均有极强的亲水性,这为通过浮选实现炭灰分离的技术方案提供了先决条件。
石煤钒矿酸浸提钒尾渣筛析结果如表3所示。样品中粗粒级矿物灰分高于94%,可以直接作为高灰分尾矿分离出去,余下的细粒级矿物需要依靠浮选实现炭灰分离。
主要试验设备包括GB/T 6003.1—2012标准筛、ATY124分析天平、XFD-Ⅱ单槽自吸式浮选机、5E-MAG6600工业分析仪、JSX-1000S型X射线荧光光谱仪、Thermo Scientific K-Alpha型X射线光电子能谱仪、SX-4-10马弗炉等。
浮选试验主要药剂包括捕收剂V401(非极性烃类油,混合酯和工业洗油以特定比例配伍)、起泡剂T82(仲辛醇、二号油和少量添加剂以特定比例配伍)、抑制剂P601(羧甲基纤维素钠和少量添加剂按一定比例配伍)、模数为1.5的水玻璃、无水碳酸钠等。试验用水为自来水。
对尾渣样品进行筛分,+0.100 mm粗粒级筛上产品直接作为高灰分尾矿产品进行收集,筛下产品则在1.5 L浮选槽中进行浮选。试验流程见图2。浮选矿浆浓度(质量分数)30%,浮选机转子搅拌速率1 800 r/min,充气速率0.4 m3/h。采用缓慢灰化法检测样品灰分,并计算回收率。
采用自来水制浆,矿浆浓度30%时矿浆pH值约为3.0。按照图2所示流程,在抑制剂水玻璃用量800 g/t、捕收剂煤油用量700 g/t、起泡剂T82用量60 g/t条件下,研究了矿浆pH值对浮选效果的影响,结果见表4。结果表明,pH=3.0时虽然可以收获较高的可燃体回收率,但富炭精矿固定碳含量较低,难以满足掺烧煤的热值要求;pH=4.0~5.0时,可燃体回收率变化不大,但精矿固定碳含量下降,尾矿中残存炭质增加;pH值5.0~7.0时,随着pH值增大,富炭精矿固定碳含量急剧降低,大量炭质残留在浮选尾矿中未被富集,浮选指标下降。pH值较低时收获了较高的可燃体回收率,一方面可能是样品中石墨化程度较高的表面基团在氢离子浓度较高时被活化,有利于捕收剂在其表面发生化学吸附,表现出更高的选择性和捕收能力;另一方面pH值对起泡剂的起泡性能有较大影响,所使用的起泡剂在较低pH值时可以更好地维持气泡的稳定性。考虑到pH=3.0时泡沫夹带严重且会急剧加快不锈钢设备腐蚀,后续试验皆采用碳酸钠调整矿浆pH值至4.0,此时碳酸钠用量为200 g/t。
按照图2所示流程,在矿浆pH值4.0、抑制剂P601用量800 g/t、起泡剂T82用量60 g/t条件下,分别使用V401、煤油和柴油为捕收剂,捕收剂用量均为700 g/t,进行了捕收剂种类试验,结果见表5。结果表明,在所述条件下,以V401为捕收剂时,精矿固定碳含量高,尾矿灰分高、残碳少,可燃体回收率高,说明V401对石煤酸浸渣中的炭质有良好的选择性和捕收能力。后续采用V401为捕收剂进行试验。
相同条件下,进行了捕收剂V401用量试验,结果见表6。结果表明,V401用量大于800 g/t时,随着其用量增加,可燃体回收率和尾矿灰分增加速率明显变缓,但富炭精矿固定碳含量和尾矿产率减少速率明显变快,这表明V401用量大于800 g/t后,大量多灰少炭的连生体矿粒开始进入泡沫层,使得浮选指标开始恶化。兼顾精矿中可燃体回收率、精矿固定碳含量、尾矿灰分和药剂的成本,V401用量800 g/t为宜。
样品浸钒渣中灰分矿物主要为石英、金属硫酸盐,在浮选过程中,要实现尾渣中有机炭质与石英等无机灰分矿物的有效分离,在炭灰充分解离的先决条件下,还依赖于抑制剂的作用。按照图2所示流程,在矿浆pH值4.0、抑制剂用量800 g/t、捕收剂V401用量800 g/t、起泡剂T82用量60 g/t条件下,研究了抑制剂种类对浮选效果的影响,结果见表7。结果表明,以水玻璃为抑制剂时,富炭精矿固定碳含量略高但可燃体回收率较小,可能是酸浸渣中部分炭质与无机矿物致密共生,很难完全解离,水玻璃极大增强了石英等硅酸盐矿物的表面疏水性,使得连生体可浮性急剧降低,从而减少了连生体中炭质的回收。在酸性矿浆中,抑制剂P601中的羧甲基纤维素钠在少量添加剂的作用下,对石英有良好的抑制效果,同时又不会对多炭少灰连生体产生过强的抑制作用。精矿固定碳含量的微小差距对其热值的影响不会很大,综合考虑可燃体回收率和尾矿的炭质残留,采用P601作为抑制剂。
在条件试验和开路试验基础上,对试验条件进行优化,最后确定的闭路试验流程如图3所示,结果见表8。一粗一扫二精闭路浮选获得的富炭精矿固定碳含量为32.86%,可燃体回收率达到了73.50%,综合尾矿(高灰分尾矿+浮选尾矿)灰分为96.14%,产率为78.42%。
富炭精矿产品固定碳含量与热值的关系如图4所示。结果表明,固定碳品位大于30%的富炭精矿产品才能满足锅炉掺烧煤的要求(即热值大于8 368 kJ/kg)。
浮选精矿全工业分析结果如表9所示。浮选所获得的富炭精矿产品全硫含量低于1%,且其干燥基高位热值为9 832 kJ/kg,满足锅炉掺烧煤的热值要求。
对浮选尾矿分别进行了浸出毒性检测,结果见表10。尾矿产品的浸出毒性检测结果显示其中的危害成分均未超出限值。
称取约1 g尾矿样品,精确至0.000 1 g,置于已灼烧恒重的瓷坩埚中,将盖斜置于坩埚上,放在高温炉内从低温开始逐渐升高温度,在1 000 ℃下灼烧直至恒重,测得烧失量为4.98%,烧失量小于5%,满足P·O普通硅酸盐水泥的烧失量要求[8]和高强度抗压陶粒的烧失量要求[9]
石煤中钒的品位一般为0.13%~1%[10],酸浸提钒尾渣基数巨大而又无法直接利用,如果不对其进行资源化处理,就必须建设相当面积的符合危险废物堆存要求的尾矿库,土地成本费和维护管理费高昂。酸浸尾渣吨位之大决定了堆存并非长远之法,若对其进行深度的炭灰分离从而实现全资源化利用,便可变废为宝,将巨大成本消耗转为低利润大吨位的产品营收。为验证方案的经济可行性,对原料、浮选药剂、能耗、设备折旧等进行简单的成本估算和产品价值估算,结果见表1112。该方案所得税前收益为91.08元/t。
1)通过筛分-浮选的技术方案,以碳酸钠为pH值调整剂,调整矿浆pH值至4.0,以V401为捕收剂、P601为抑制剂,一粗一扫二精浮选闭路试验获得的富炭精矿固定碳含量可达32.86%,可燃体回收率73.50%,所得综合尾矿灰分96.14%、产率78.42%、烧失量4.98%。
2)富炭精矿产品热值达到了9 832 kJ/kg,满足锅炉掺烧煤的热值要求;尾矿危害成分未超限值且满足P·O普通硅酸盐水泥的烧失量要求、高强度抗压陶粒烧失量要求。
3)该技术方案对不可直接利用的石煤酸浸提钒尾渣进行深度炭灰分离,具有一定经济可行性和重要的生态环境意义及工程意义,为该类型危险工业固体废弃物提供了一种可行的资源化利用路径。
