Several pieces of hard paper with different numbers, dip angles and widths were embedded into specimens to simulate structure of closed joint in rock masses and prepare rock mass models with different joints. Effect of joints on blast-induced failure characteristics of rock mass was analyzed with a high-speed camera and a 3D laser scanner, so as to explore the rules of crack propagation and fragment size distribution during rock blast. It is found that joints can disperse blasting energy and hinder crack penetration, leading to a decrease in the average size of blast-induced fragments as the number of joints increases. Wider joints can make diffraction and reflection of stress waves much more complicated, intensify energy dissipation, and also hinder crack propagation;while joints with small width are prone to make blast-induced fragments smaller in size. The interaction between joint dip angle and the propagation direction of the blast stress wave can significantly affect the crack propagation mode, and excessively large dip angles can easily hinder stress wave propagation.

使用硬纸片以不同数量、角度、宽度埋入试样,模拟岩体闭合节理结构,制备不同节理岩体模型,并借助高速摄影仪和三维激光扫描仪分析节理对岩体爆破破坏特性的影响,研究岩体爆破的裂纹扩展及块度分布规律。结果表明:节理会分散爆破能量,阻碍裂纹贯通,导致爆破块度平均尺寸随着节理数量增加而减小;较宽的节理会使得应力波绕射、反射过程更复杂,能量耗散加剧,阻碍裂纹扩展,较小宽度节理更易产生更细小的爆破块度;节理角度与爆破应力波传播方向的相互作用显著影响裂纹扩展模式,角度过大易阻碍应力波传播。

使用硬纸片以不同数量、角度、宽度埋入试样,模拟岩体闭合节理结构,制备不同节理岩体模型,并借助高速摄影仪和三维激光扫描仪分析节理对岩体爆破破坏特性的影响,研究岩体爆破的裂纹扩展及块度分布规律。结果表明:节理会分散爆破能量,阻碍裂纹贯通,导致爆破块度平均尺寸随着节理数量增加而减小;较宽的节理会使得应力波绕射、反射过程更复杂,能量耗散加剧,阻碍裂纹扩展,较小宽度节理更易产生更细小的爆破块度;节理角度与爆破应力波传播方向的相互作用显著影响裂纹扩展模式,角度过大易阻碍应力波传播。

Several pieces of hard paper with different numbers, dip angles and widths were embedded into specimens to simulate structure of closed joint in rock masses and prepare rock mass models with different joints. Effect of joints on blast-induced failure characteristics of rock mass was analyzed with a high-speed camera and a 3D laser scanner, so as to explore the rules of crack propagation and fragment size distribution during rock blast. It is found that joints can disperse blasting energy and hinder crack penetration, leading to a decrease in the average size of blast-induced fragments as the number of joints increases. Wider joints can make diffraction and reflection of stress waves much more complicated, intensify energy dissipation, and also hinder crack propagation;while joints with small width are prone to make blast-induced fragments smaller in size. The interaction between joint dip angle and the propagation direction of the blast stress wave can significantly affect the crack propagation mode, and excessively large dip angles can easily hinder stress wave propagation.

节理裂隙是岩体常见的构造特征,不仅影响岩体的力学性质,也影响应力波的传播特性,对岩体破坏过程起着至关重要的控制作用[1-3]。深入研究和理解节理对岩体爆破破坏特性的影响不仅有助于完善岩体爆破理论体系,而且可以为爆破参数设计提供重要依据。
近年来,已有大量研究[4-9]探讨了节理岩体在静态或准静态荷载作用下的力学性质,研究表明,节理岩体的强度和变形特性与节理条数、角度、间距等节理参数有着密切关联[10-12]。但少有研究聚焦在爆破荷载作用下节理岩体的裂纹扩展和块度分布规律,节理岩体的爆破破坏机理有待进一步研究。
相较于现场试验节理裂隙发育的随机性,模型试验可以根据需要严格控制模拟节理的条件,更适用于研究节理对岩体爆破破坏特性的影响。为此,本文采用混凝土模型试样,在制作相似材料时,使用硬纸片以不同数量、角度、宽度埋入试样,模拟岩体闭合节理结构,并分析节理数量、角度、宽度对岩体爆破裂纹扩展和爆破块度分布的影响。
本文共制备8组不同节理模型。其中节理数量分别为单节理、双节理、三节理(见图1),节理角度分别为30°、60°、90°(见图2),节理宽度分别为1、2 cm(见图3)。
爆破相似模型长、宽、高分别为600、400、600 mm。按照灰∶沙∶水(质量比)为1∶2∶0.5进行模型浇筑,采用PVC管预制炮孔。模型填满砂浆后,用振动棒将水泥砂浆气泡排出,提高混凝土密实度。根据试验方案制定8个混凝土浇筑模具,待试样浇筑完成后,在标准条件下养护28 d。
试验采用现场混装乳化炸药,保持乳化工艺和敏化参数不变,每批次制备相同爆破性能的混装乳化炸药。经现场爆速测试,混装乳化炸药平均爆速约4 108 m/s,采用数码电子雷管起爆。考虑到试样的体积较大,为获得较好的爆破效果,将单孔装药量控制在20 g。采用连续柱状装药结构,装药长度15 cm,炸药直径25 mm。
采用高速摄影仪、三维激光扫描仪等设备捕捉试验过程中岩体的裂缝扩展规律以及块度分布情况。连接试验设备,搭建爆破试验系统,高速摄影仪对准待爆破试样,调节角度和焦距。爆破试验后,用三维激光扫描仪扫描断面,生成三维模型。
图4展示了对照组(无节理裂隙岩体)的裂纹扩展过程。150 μs时观察到PVC管发生明显位移(由岩体在载荷作用下的整体弹性变形和可能的塑性屈服引起),试样表面也出现显著形变。250 μs时裂纹开始显著扩展,且扩展速度极快。350 μs时裂纹扩展基本结束,形成数量较多的裂纹;此后,裂纹宽度持续增加。可以看出,裂纹扩展的起始时间相对较晚(250 μs,在明显的位移和形变之后),但一旦开始扩展,速度极快。
在节理宽度1 cm、节理角度90°条件下,单节理、双节理、三节理岩体爆破裂纹扩展过程如图57所示。
图5可知,单节理岩体在50 μs时炮孔发生松动现象,PVC管开始喷出;100 μs时出现1条竖向裂纹,随后不断扩展,直到400 μs时试样侧面才开始出现新裂纹,此时试样主要受到爆生气体的影响,微裂纹扩展、变宽。
图6可知,双节理岩体在起爆后的200 μs内没有明显裂纹,只观测到PVC管受到冲击后喷出。250 μs时岩体开始产生裂纹,但数量少,逐渐贯穿试样侧面,没有产生分支裂纹。500 μs左右时炮孔内开始涌出炮烟和炮泥,释放大量爆生气体,此后逐渐形成试样碎片。
图5图6可知,节理数量影响裂纹扩展方向,形成复杂的破裂模式。节理数量越多,爆炸应力波的传播越复杂,爆生气体的扩散路径也越复杂,从而形成复杂的破裂模式。此外,节理数量越多,岩体强度越低。所以节理数量不只影响了爆炸应力波的传播,也影响了岩石性质。
图7可知,起爆后,三节理岩体在100 μs时表面发生细微的形变,炮孔周围更显著。150 μs时炮孔周围出现了2条裂纹,并不断向自由面扩展。此后裂纹数量不断增加,整体呈放射状。250 μs时裂纹扩展到节理处,然而,裂纹并没有通过节理直接扩展,而是在节理的边沿继续扩展。这说明节理阻碍了裂纹的扩展,改变了应力波传播的方向。
图57图4相比可知,并不是节理数量越多就越有利于裂纹形成及扩展,其一是因为节理数量越多爆生气体越容易泄露,其二是因为节理阻碍了爆炸应力波的传播。
图8为节理宽度2 cm条件下单节理岩体爆破裂纹扩展过程。炸药起爆后,炮孔发生形变,孔内PVC管受到爆炸冲击后喷出炮孔。150 μs时试样侧面产生1条竖向裂纹,并贯穿整个试样,随后产生分支裂纹。250 μs后裂纹数量不再增加,宽度不断增加。整体产生的裂纹较少,爆生气体涌出时间较长,表明爆生气体作用于炮孔壁的时间较长,炸药能量得到了充分利用。
图9为节理宽度2 cm条件下双节理岩体爆破裂纹扩展过程。起爆后试样表面发生微变形,没有观察到其他现象,直到150 μs时试样侧面开始出现裂纹,此后在试样中部产生分支裂纹,总体呈现“入”字形。300 μs时炮烟开始涌出,裂纹宽度增加,扩展基本完成。
对比图5图8图6图9可知,随着节理宽度增加,裂纹分支数量没有增多。节理宽度增加使得爆破应力波绕射、反射等更为复杂,应力波能量耗散更严重,节理宽度一定程度上阻碍了裂纹扩展。
由于三节理能更显著体现角度差异导致的裂纹相互作用,且单、双节理裂纹扩展已有较多研究,而三节理的角度影响研究相对较少,故本节仅对三节理岩体不同角度的裂纹扩展进行研究。图10为节理角度30°条件下三节理岩体爆破裂纹扩展过程。50 μs时试样开始出现细微裂纹,并且裂纹扩展迅速。150 μs时试样侧面中部产生分支裂纹,中上部呈现“川”字形,下部分裂纹充分发育、交叉,数量增长快。400 μs时试样不再产生新裂纹,裂纹宽度不断增加。此过程中,爆生气体涌出缓慢,表明炸药做功充分、时间长,较多能量用于破碎混凝土试样,提高了炸药能量利用率。
图11为节理角度60°条件下三节理岩体爆破裂纹扩展过程。起爆后试样表面尚未形成裂纹。150 μs时可以明显看到试样侧面顶部出现了1条裂纹。200 μs时裂纹贯穿整个试样,并在试样中部出现分支裂纹。300 μs时裂纹右边萌生出1条新裂纹,整体呈现“八”字形。此后逐渐产生一些细裂纹,400 μs后裂纹宽度增加,数量基本不发生改变。
对比图7图10图11可知,节理角度30°的试样裂纹比节理角度60°的试样裂纹多。节理角度影响裂纹扩展模式,节理角度与爆破应力波的传播方向决定了是否利于裂纹扩展,节理角度较大不利于裂纹扩展。
综上可知,自由面裂纹主要在离炮孔最近区域产生,这是因为应力波最先到达该处并产生了拉伸作用,出现应力集中,从而产生裂纹。随后在爆生气体的作用下,裂纹继续扩展,宽度不断增加,此时能明显看到爆生气体和堵塞物涌出炮孔。节理的属性(包括数目、宽度及角度)影响了爆破应力波的传播和爆生气体的作用时间,从而形成了不同的裂纹扩展模式。
利用三维激光扫描仪获取爆破现场爆堆点云数据,利用专业软件构建表面模型,提取岩块三维尺寸,快速获取爆破块度分布。不同节理宽度下节理数量对爆破块度的影响如图12所示。3组试验表现出一致的规律,即节理宽度1 cm时爆破效果更好,碎片平均尺寸更小。这是因为节理越宽,应力波透、反射越强,削弱了应力波对介质的作用,因而爆破效果差。随着节理数量增加,曲线逐渐上升,碎片平均尺寸逐渐减小。
综上,不同节理数量的岩体具有复杂的破裂模式,影响爆破块度的形成,使得爆破块度分布和尺寸更加多样化。节理数量多时,岩体中存在更多的破裂路径,可能会导致能量在不同节理之间分散。这可能会使得能量无法集中在一个破裂路径上,爆破块度相对较小。节理数量多可能会增加破裂面积,使得岩石可以在更多的区域发生破裂,爆破块度更大。
爆破块度分布占比为50%时对应的爆破块度尺寸X50反映了爆破块度的平均尺寸,由图12可知,每组爆破试验的X50均在6 cm左右,相差不大。
图13为不同节理角度下三节理岩体爆破块度分布。节理角度90°时,碎片平均尺寸最大,30°时碎片平均尺寸最小。节理角度较大时,节理阻碍了应力波的传播,部分应力波变成反射拉伸波,减弱了应力波对介质的作用,因而爆破效果差。节理角度30°或60°时,应力波反射到其他自由面,进一步增强了爆破效果。
综上,节理角度会影响爆破作业中岩体的断裂模式和块状物的形成。若节理角度与爆破的导向性不一致,爆破冲击波可能会沿着节理面传播,导致块状物分裂不均匀或在非预期的方向上破裂。节理角度较大时,爆破作业产生的冲击波可能会更容易集中在节理面的交汇点,从而增加这些区域的破裂概率,这可能导致在节理面交汇点附近形成较大的块状物。节理角度还会影响岩体破裂的面积。节理角度较大时,裂隙在岩体中的扩展可能相对困难,这可能导致较小的破裂面积和较小的块状物形成。
1)节理对爆破裂纹扩展和块度分布有显著影响。节理数量及宽度影响裂纹扩展,节理宽度较小时爆破块度更小;节理角度增大会阻碍应力波传播,节理数量增加则会分散能量。
2)爆生气体作用时间影响试样的破碎效果。爆生气体涌出越慢,说明爆生气体的作用时间越长,炸药能量被充分利用,有利于试样破碎。
3)节理角度和数量影响岩石的断裂模式和爆破块度。若节理角度与爆破的导向性不一致,爆破冲击波可能会沿着节理面传播,导致块状物分裂不均匀或在非预期的方向上破裂。节理数量多时,岩石中存在更多的破裂路径,会导致能量在不同裂隙之间分散,使得能量无法集中在一个破裂路径上,从而导致块状物相对较小。
