Collophanite ore was taken in a test to explore the influence of fine particle entrainment content in return sand to grinding on grinding efficiency. It is found that the lower the fine particle entrainment content in return sand, the higher yield of the newly generated particles in the size range of -0.074 mm. Nevertheless, the increase in the yield of particles within the range of -0.025 mm has little to do with the entrainment content in return sand.

Collophanite ore was taken in a test to explore the influence of fine particle entrainment content in return sand to grinding on grinding efficiency. It is found that the lower the fine particle entrainment content in return sand, the higher yield of the newly generated particles in the size range of -0.074 mm. Nevertheless, the increase in the yield of particles within the range of -0.025 mm has little to do with the entrainment content in return sand.

磨矿是选矿前很重要的准备作业,磨矿质量直接影响选矿厂的生产效率和效益[1-8]。不同的磨矿方式对胶磷矿的物理化学性质和浮选行为有不同的影响,目前的研究主要集中在干磨与湿磨、球磨、高压辊磨、水射流磨矿等磨矿方式以及不同的磨矿工艺上[9-11]。磨矿细度是影响矿石浮选效果的重要因素,一般来说,磨矿细度越高,磷矿浮选回收率越高,但也会增加矿泥量和药剂消耗,因此需要根据不同的矿石特性和浮选条件确定最佳的磨矿细度。
磨矿的影响因素[9-11]包括:①矿石性质(矿石硬度、粒度、可磨性等特征会影响磨矿难易程度、时间、能耗和效果);②磨矿机构造(磨矿机类型、直径、长度、衬板形状等会影响磨矿介质的运动状态、冲击力、研磨作用等,从而影响磨矿效率和质量);③磨矿操作条件(磨矿介质形状、尺寸、密度、硬度、装入量、补加制度,磨矿机转速、给矿速度、给矿水量,磨矿浓度、返砂量、分级效率、助磨剂等都会对磨矿过程产生不同程度的影响)。本文研究磨矿返砂夹细量对磨矿的影响,并在生产装置上进行实践应用。返砂夹细量可以简单理解为返砂中合格粒级与返砂总量的质量比。
试验用矿石主要矿物成分为胶磷矿,次为微-细晶磷灰石、白云石及少量陆源碎屑。磷矿物以胶磷矿、细晶磷灰石为主,脉石矿物主要为白云石、石英,次为方解石、玉髓、褐铁矿、软锰矿、长石、白云母、水白云母、海绿石、高岭石、金红石、锆石等。矿石中主要化学成分为P2O5、CaO、SiO2,其次为CO2、MgO及Fe2O3、Al2O3、F等。按照矿石化学组分划分,矿石工业类型为钙(镁)质磷块岩。
该胶磷矿以颗粒状为主,占总量的90%以上,主要为粒屑、假鲕粒、鲕粒及砾屑等,粒径0.1~1.0 mm。白云石多为自形、微粒结构,陆源碎屑岩含量较少。根据矿石矿物间的相互关系,矿石结构分为砾状结构、粒屑结构、鲕状结构、生物碎屑结构和凝胶状结构五大类。矿石构造有块状、条带(纹)和层胶状构造3种。矿石硬度系数5~9,属中等偏软,易碎性矿石。
某胶磷矿选矿厂现场磨矿分级工艺流程见图1。自建成投产以来,该选矿厂磨矿负荷率一直偏低,为86.09%,造成装置不能达产达标、生产成本高,不利于提升选矿厂经济效益。
磨矿负荷率低的原因主要是磨矿分级的问题。二段磨矿分级流程考察数据见表1。从表1可以看出,二段排矿-0.074 mm粒级产率为34.01%,二段沉砂-0.074 mm粒级产率为22.25%,二段磨矿新生-0.074 mm粒级产率为11.76%,说明磨机磨矿效率偏低,导致磨矿负荷低。
为了提高试验矿样与生产实际的一致性,取足够量的二段沉砂,使用0.125 mm、0.074 mm、0.038 mm、0.025 mm筛子进行筛分,烘干备用。
生产实际中,二段沉砂夹细量为22.25%,试验分别配制夹细量0、5%、10%、15%、20%、25%的矿样,磨矿时间为4 min,完成磨矿后进行筛析,检测各粒级分布情况,结果见表2。从表2可以看出:磨矿时间4 min条件下,夹细量0时新生-0.074 mm粒级产率最高,为38.15%;夹细量20%时新生-0.074 mm粒级产率最低,为26.02%。
磨矿主要是粗粒级减少、细粒级增加的过程。磨矿产品新生粒级产率见表3,其中负号表示粒级产率减少。由表3可见,磨矿后+0.125 mm粒级、(-0.125+0.074)mm粒级产率减少量随着夹细量升高整体呈降低趋势,(-0.074+0.038)mm粒级产率增加量随着夹细量升高而降低,(-0.038+0.025)mm粒级、-0.025 mm粒级产率增加量与夹细量关系不大,特别是-0.025 mm粒级,无论夹细量是多少,-0.025 mm粒级产率新增量都在12%左右。
表3可以看出,夹细量10%时,+0.125 mm粒级、(-0.125+0.074)mm粒级减少量适中,在生产实际中,夹细量要降到10%以下比较困难,因此,较合适的夹细量为10%~15%。
该胶磷矿选矿厂通过试验并结合实际生产数据,控制旋流器操作参数以降低返砂夹细量:旋流器进浆压力0.2 MPa、进浆浓度49%左右;及时补加钢球,控制磨机充填率33%左右;及时测量并根据磨损情况更换旋流器沉砂嘴和内溢流管。稳定旋流器参数后二段磨矿-分级流程考察结果见表4
在原矿性质和粒度组成变化不大的情况下,二段返砂夹细量从22.25%降至18.51%,返砂比从279.57%降到198.53%,负荷率从86.09%提升至106.80%,验证了降低返砂夹细量可以提高负荷率的结论。
对某胶磷矿进行了磨矿返砂夹细量对磨矿效率的影响研究,得到如下主要结论。
1)磨矿后,新生-0.074 mm粒级产率随着入磨矿样夹细量增加而降低。
2)磨矿后新生-0.025 mm粒级产率与入磨矿样夹细量关系不大,不同夹细量情况下都保持一个较为稳定的水平,存在“细度饱和”现象。
3)生产实际中,应尽量降低返砂夹细量,建议通过稳定旋流器和磨机工作参数控制旋流器返砂夹细量为10%~15%。
