In order to explore the overall stability of slope before and after local failure, as well as the effect of excavation method on slope stability, the slope project on the north side of Jingxi-Barak mining area in Jinchuan of Xinjiang was taken to study local failure characteristics of slope and slope stability under different excavation state by adopting distinct element method. It is found that the distribution of the maximum main stress has a great impact on the slope stability, and the factor of safety for slope stability tends to decrease first and then increase from the stage before local failure to the stage after failure; with more excavated benches, the factor of safety for slope stability tends to increase first and then decrease; with the excavated benches more than 1, the overall factor of safety of the slope meets the requirements; with slope angle less than or equal to 60°, the overall factor of safety also meets the requirements, and the suitable slope angle is 60°.

为了探究边坡整体稳定性受其局部破坏前后状态及开挖方法的影响,以新疆金川京希-巴拉克采区北侧边坡工程为研究对象,采用离散元法对边坡局部破坏特征和不同开挖状态下的边坡稳定性进行研究。结果表明:最大主应力的分布对边坡稳定性影响很大,边坡安全系数在边坡破坏前、中、后期表现为先减小后增大的变化趋势;随着台阶开挖级数增加,边坡安全系数表现为先增大后减小的趋势,当开挖台阶级数大于1时,边坡整体安全系数均满足要求;当坡角小于等于60°时,边坡整体安全系数满足要求,适宜的坡角为60°。

为了探究边坡整体稳定性受其局部破坏前后状态及开挖方法的影响,以新疆金川京希-巴拉克采区北侧边坡工程为研究对象,采用离散元法对边坡局部破坏特征和不同开挖状态下的边坡稳定性进行研究。结果表明:最大主应力的分布对边坡稳定性影响很大,边坡安全系数在边坡破坏前、中、后期表现为先减小后增大的变化趋势;随着台阶开挖级数增加,边坡安全系数表现为先增大后减小的趋势,当开挖台阶级数大于1时,边坡整体安全系数均满足要求;当坡角小于等于60°时,边坡整体安全系数满足要求,适宜的坡角为60°。

In order to explore the overall stability of slope before and after local failure, as well as the effect of excavation method on slope stability, the slope project on the north side of Jingxi-Barak mining area in Jinchuan of Xinjiang was taken to study local failure characteristics of slope and slope stability under different excavation state by adopting distinct element method. It is found that the distribution of the maximum main stress has a great impact on the slope stability, and the factor of safety for slope stability tends to decrease first and then increase from the stage before local failure to the stage after failure; with more excavated benches, the factor of safety for slope stability tends to increase first and then decrease; with the excavated benches more than 1, the overall factor of safety of the slope meets the requirements; with slope angle less than or equal to 60°, the overall factor of safety also meets the requirements, and the suitable slope angle is 60°.

在露天矿资源开采过程中,边坡稳定性问题已成为制约矿山安全运行的关键难题[1-2]。露天矿边坡动态开挖过程中,岩体结构不断发生变化,导致内部应力重新分布[3-5]。随着应力重新分布,边坡逐渐向被开挖面产生变形,在外力作用下位移逐渐增大,最终超过岩体的极限承载能力,引发局部破坏[6-8]。因此,开展高陡边坡不同开挖形式下的稳定性评价具有重要的工程意义[9-10]
众多学者开展了大量动态施工环境下边坡稳定性的分析研究[11-15],但岩土结构具有不连续性、不均匀性和各向异性,这使得边坡稳定性分析具有较高的复杂性。离散元法(DEM,distinct element method)在分析不连续介质变形和运动趋势方面表现出了良好的效果。但基于离散元法的边坡开挖后内力及位移场的发展规律及其影响因素的相关研究较少。
鉴于此,本文以新疆金川京希-巴拉克采区北侧边坡工程为研究背景,采用离散元法对边坡研究区域进行模拟,获取高陡边坡在局部破坏前、中、后期的安全系数,并从应力场和位移场的角度探讨其演化机理,分析不同开挖次数及坡角对高陡边坡稳定性和位移场变化的影响,可为高陡边坡局部破坏后的修复治理工作和后续施工提供参考和借鉴。
新疆金川京希-巴拉克采区是中国西北地区重要的黄金生产基地,采区北帮边坡长800 m、宽160 m、坡高186 m,总体坡度48°~52°,边坡由14级台阶组成,每级台阶高10~13 m、宽15 m。边坡岩性为晶屑凝灰岩,岩石风化较弱,平台基本完整,总体积约24 000 m3,其剖面图如图1所示。
基于地质采矿资料和工程现场勘测结果,得到晶屑凝灰岩的物理参数如表1所示。
工程现场北帮边坡中部发生3级台阶的局部破坏,如图2所示。本研究针对该现场状况进行局部破坏特征分析和不同开挖状态下边坡稳定性研究。
为了细致分析该边坡局部破坏机理,首先对原边坡开挖方案进行模拟研究。现场破坏前,原边坡为3级台阶边坡。基于该条件,模拟边坡前、中、后期的演化过程。
利用数值模拟软件建立破坏前、中、后期的离散元数值计算模型,随后将局部3级台阶边坡研究范围分别向上下扩展,即研究区域为6级台阶边坡,采用由上至下开挖形式,台阶坡高10 m,整体边坡角65°,如图3所示,各工况参数见表2。考虑台阶级数、开挖爆破劣化等因素,选取最不稳定开挖台阶参数进行模拟研究。
采用强度折减法计算多级高陡边坡中的3级台阶在破坏前、中、后期的稳定性安全系数,计算模型如图4所示,利用Origin绘图软件将计算结果绘制于图5中,并与《非煤露天矿边坡工程技术规范》(GB 51016—2014)[16]要求的安全系数1.15进行比较。由图5可以看出,3级台阶安全系数在前、中、后期3个阶段表现为先降低后升高的趋势,其中3级台阶边坡在破坏前期和破坏后期的安全系数分别达到了1.30和1.21,均高于规范要求的安全系数,此时边坡处于稳定状态;当3级台阶边坡处于破坏中期时,其安全系数仅为0.98,低于规范所要求的安全系数且小于1,此时边坡处于不稳定破坏状态。值得注意的是,3级台阶边坡在破坏后期的安全系数略微小于破坏前期的安全系数,这说明破坏后期边坡虽然得到了一定的应力释放,此时边坡处于稳定状态,但也给边坡造成了一定的损伤。
高陡边坡3级台阶破坏前期和中期最大主应力云图如图6所示。由图6可得,局部边坡在破坏前、中期最大主应力最大值均为2.856×103 MPa、最小值均为-1.591 9×104 MPa,但分布区域不同,边坡破坏中期最大主应力的最值大部分集中在坡体中部,使得局部边坡内部应力被动调整,形成更多的损伤,具体表现为安全系数由1.30降到0.98,最终导致坡体在应力作用下沿着滑坡面形成滑坡。
高陡边坡3级台阶破坏前、中、后期位移云图如图7所示。由图7可知,3级台阶局部边坡位移最小值为0,最大值为2.04 mm。破坏前期边坡最大位移出现在两侧,当滑坡面出现并一直发育扩展时,边坡最大位移由两侧逐步向中心扩展至局部边坡破坏为止;进一步滑坡后,边坡最大位移又重新向两侧扩展,使得边坡总体安全系数上升至1.21,此时边坡处于稳定状态。
为了进一步探究滑坡后开挖扰动对边坡稳定性的影响,将研究范围从局部3级台阶扩展至6级台阶,台阶坡高10 m,整体边坡角65°。
图8为初始状态未开挖6级台阶边坡最大位移云图。由图8可以发现,忽略地应力影响之后,6级台阶坡体的最大位移以第2台阶底部为中心逐渐向坡体内部变化,随着深度增加,最大位移逐渐减小,边坡深部位移几乎为0,越接近地表表面,整体位移越大,围绕第2、3台阶表现为位移带状,其区域覆盖逐渐向地下延伸,且位移带状区范围呈不断缩小的发展趋势。
相同坡角下多级高陡边坡开挖结束后位移云图如图9所示。对比图9图8可以发现:开挖第1级台阶时边坡坡体的最大位移先以第2级台阶中部为中心逐渐向坡体内部变化,随着深度增加,最大位移逐渐减小;之后以第2级台阶底部为中心逐渐向坡体内部变化,随着深度增加,最大位移逐渐减小。此外,第1级台阶开挖完成后,围绕第2级台阶顶部及端部出现了较大位移,变化幅度随着底层深度增加逐渐减小,其他区域基本保持不变。
进行第2级台阶开挖时可以发现,围绕第2级台阶的位移云图颜色变浅,说明第1级台阶开挖后的位移增加现象得到了缓解,地层深部位移大致不变。
第3级台阶与第4级台阶基本类似,随着开挖台阶级数增加,其位移云图基本不变,位移云图数值逐渐减小,这是因为边坡台阶开挖中第1级到第4级之间包含了滑坡之后回填的土方,会对坡体的开挖卸荷起到一定的缓冲作用,从而减轻了开挖卸荷对坡体内部的影响,这有助于保持开挖边坡的稳定性。
当开挖到第5、6级台阶时,随着开挖台阶级数增加,其位移云图基本不变,位移云图数值逐渐增大,这是因为分步开挖级数多时每级台阶开挖卸荷量较小,有利于坡体局部稳定性,但开挖扰动次数增加会削弱浅层坡体的强度。此外,由于边坡工程通常作为辅助工程,整体开挖面积较大可能导致整体开挖卸荷量增加,进而扩大整个松动区范围,这对坡体整体稳定性可能产生不利影响[17]
采用Origin绘图软件绘制不同开挖台阶级数下边坡模型的安全系数曲线,并与相关规范要求的安全系数1.15[17]进行对比,详见图10。由图10可知,开挖第1级台阶时,整体边坡安全系数为1.09,低于要求规定的安全系数。开挖第2级台阶时,整体边坡安全系数从1.09升高至1.24,高于要求规定的安全系数。这是由于在与滑坡面效应影响的较量中,开挖卸荷效应影响开始占据主导地位,此时边坡整体的最大主应力与最大剪应力相较于第1级台阶开挖时有了明显降低;到第3级台阶开挖时,整体边坡最大剪应力的增加限制了安全系数的增加,安全系数达到1.23;开挖第4级台阶时,整体边坡安全系数达到了最高值,为1.32,此时开挖卸荷效应影响发挥到最大值,潜在滑移面在第4级台阶开挖中基本被消除,剩余边坡区域较为完整;当开挖至第5、6级台阶时,边坡的整体安全系数降低,分别为1.21和1.18,但此时仍满足施工要求。
基于上述研究可以得到,6级台阶边坡开挖中,最不稳定的步骤为第1级台阶开挖,此时边坡的整体稳定性不佳,安全系数为1.09,低于要求的安全系数。为此,展开了坡角角度对开挖扰动安全稳定性的影响研究,开挖坡角分别为65°、60°、55°、50°。
不同坡角下第1级台阶开挖结束后边坡位移云图如图11所示。由图11可知,不同坡角第1级台阶开挖后边坡整体位移云图大致与未开挖的边坡位移云图相似。不同的是:坡角65°时第1级台阶开挖完成后(见图9(a)),围绕第2级台阶顶部及端部出现了较大位移,变化幅度随着底层深度增加逐渐减小,其他区域基本保持不变;坡角60°时开挖第1级台阶时,围绕第2级台阶位移云图颜色变浅,说明相较坡角65°,坡角60°缓解了第1级台阶开挖时的位移增加,地层深部位移大致不变;坡角55°和50°时,位移云图显示边坡整体位移进一步减小,缓坡效应发挥主导作用。
图12为不同坡角下第1级台阶开挖时的边坡安全系数曲线。由图12可以看出,开挖第1级台阶时,坡角65°的整体边坡安全系数为1.09,低于规范要求的安全系数1.15。整体来看,第1级台阶开挖边坡的安全系数随着开挖坡角减小而增大,并且增长幅度越来越大,此时缓坡影响因素相较于滑坡面效应影响占据主导地位。这是由于随着坡角减小,通过力学分解得到的滑动力逐渐减弱。同时,开挖坡角的减小导致整体土方开挖量逐渐增多,开挖卸荷效应的影响随之增强。在这两种因素的共同作用下,边坡整体安全系数逐步提高。这表明,开挖坡角小于60°时,边坡安全系数满足规范要求的安全系数(1.15)。
1)边坡破坏过程中最大主应力的最值大部分集中在坡体中部,使得局部边坡内部被动调整;最大位移则由边坡两侧逐步向中心扩展至局部边坡破坏为止,具体表现为安全系数由1.30降到0.98。
2)开挖台阶级数相同的情况下,第1级台阶开挖整体边坡安全系数为1.09,低于规范要求的安全系数,其余台阶级数均满足要求。
3)不同开挖坡角条件下,坡角65°时,整体边坡安全系数低于要求规定的安全系数;坡角小于等于60°时,整体边坡安全系数满足规范要求,适宜的开挖坡角为60°。
