In order to recover and utilize high value-added iron phosphate waste, an experimental study was carried out by adopting a process consisting of hydrochloric acid leaching, replacement of iron powder for copper removal, and hydrolyzation and chemical precipitation for removal of titanium and aluminum therein. The results show that after 1 h leaching at 60 ℃ with hydrochloric acid concentration of 25%, liquid-solid ratio of 6 mL/g, the leaching rate of iron can be up to 98.7%. And then after 35 min reaction at 60 ℃ with the initial pH of the solution controlled at 0.6, the addition of iron powder at an amount of 0.55 times of the molar number of iron in the leaching solution, the removal rate of copper and titanium can reach 96.2% and 83.6% respectively. By the following process of hydrolyzation and chemical precipitation with sodium fluoride 8 times of the molar number of aluminum, the removal rate of titanium and aluminum can reach 97.6% and 99.3% after 30 min reaction at 40 ℃ with pH of 1.9. It is shown that the content of impurities in the leaching solution meets the requirements for the subsequent synthesis of iron phosphate for batteries.

为实现磷酸铁渣高附加值资源回收利用,采用盐酸浸出渣中铁、铁粉置换除铜、水解-化学沉淀法去除浸出液中钛、铝。结果表明,盐酸浓度25%、液固比6 mL/g、浸出温度60 ℃、浸出时间60 min时,磷酸铁渣中铁浸出率达98.7%;控制溶液初始pH=0.6,铁粉添加量为浸出液中铁物质的量0.55倍、反应温度60 ℃、反应时间35 min时,铜去除率达96.2%,钛去除率达83.6%;水解-化学沉淀法除钛、铝的过程中,氟化钠与铝物质的量比8∶1、反应pH=1.9、反应温度40 ℃、反应时间30 min时,钛去除率达97.6%,铝去除率达99.3%,浸出液中杂质元素含量满足后续电池级磷酸铁的制备要求。

In order to recover and utilize high value-added iron phosphate waste, an experimental study was carried out by adopting a process consisting of hydrochloric acid leaching, replacement of iron powder for copper removal, and hydrolyzation and chemical precipitation for removal of titanium and aluminum therein. The results show that after 1 h leaching at 60 ℃ with hydrochloric acid concentration of 25%, liquid-solid ratio of 6 mL/g, the leaching rate of iron can be up to 98.7%. And then after 35 min reaction at 60 ℃ with the initial pH of the solution controlled at 0.6, the addition of iron powder at an amount of 0.55 times of the molar number of iron in the leaching solution, the removal rate of copper and titanium can reach 96.2% and 83.6% respectively. By the following process of hydrolyzation and chemical precipitation with sodium fluoride 8 times of the molar number of aluminum, the removal rate of titanium and aluminum can reach 97.6% and 99.3% after 30 min reaction at 40 ℃ with pH of 1.9. It is shown that the content of impurities in the leaching solution meets the requirements for the subsequent synthesis of iron phosphate for batteries.

磷酸铁锂电池回收通常优先提取附加值高的锂元素[1],提锂之后产生的大量磷酸铁渣一般作为工业垃圾或用作水泥厂填料。磷酸铁渣中含有的大量铁元素和磷元素未得到有效利用和回收[2],会造成巨大的资源浪费。
根据已有的研究报道,LiFePO4正极材料的除铝工艺主要有碱浸法[3]、选择性酸浸法[4]、离子交换法[5]和化学沉淀法[6]等;LiFePO4正极材料的除铜技术主要有置换法[7]、酸浸法[8]、络合/沉淀法[9]、电解沉积法等[10]。为实现磷酸铁渣高附加值资源回收利用,同时高效去除杂质元素,本文采用盐酸浸出磷酸铁渣、铁粉置换除铜、水解-化学沉淀法除钛、铝工艺,以期为磷酸铁渣的回收处理提供参考。
试验原料为某锂电池回收厂提锂后的磷酸铁渣,主要化学成分见表1
磷酸铁渣XRD分析结果如图1所示。由图1可知,磷酸铁渣的主要成分为磷酸铁,主要杂质为硫酸铝和硫酸钠的混合物。
试验试剂包括盐酸、硫酸、磷酸、氢氧化钠、还原铁粉、氟化钠、三氯化钛、钨酸钠、二苯胺磺酸钠、重铬酸钾,均为分析纯,由国药集团化学试剂有限公司生产。
磷酸铁渣中的铁磷元素主要以磷酸铁形式存在,杂质元素铝以硫酸铝和硫酸钠共存的形式存在,其他杂质元素因含量较低未出现明显特征峰。磷酸铁渣在盐酸的作用下浸出铁;在置换除铜的过程中,铁粉与溶液中的三价铁反应生成二价铁,同时与氢离子反应生成氢气,最后与铜离子发生置换反应;通过调节浸出液pH值和温度,使溶液中的钛水解析出,过滤除去偏钛酸沉淀;基于铝与氟络合生成的六氟铝酸钠沉淀难溶的特性,通过加入氟化钠去除溶液中的铝离子。本文采取盐酸浸出磷酸铁渣中铁、加入还原铁粉置换除铜、两步法水解除钛、化学沉淀法除铝。整个反应体系可能发生的主要反应如下:
取10 g磷酸铁渣置于500 mL烧杯中,将烧杯置于集热式恒温加热磁力搅拌器上,加入浓度25%的盐酸和一定体积的水,用保鲜膜封口,在60 ℃下反应1 h,用真空抽滤机进行固液分离;采用氢氧化钠调节滤液pH值至0.6后向滤液中加入还原铁粉,在60 ℃下反应35 min,用真空抽滤机进行固液分离;采用氢氧化钠调节滤液pH值至1.9后加入氟化钠,在40 ℃下反应30 min,用真空抽滤机进行固液分离。采用三氯化钛-重铬酸钾滴定法测定铁含量[11],采用ICP法测定铜、钛、铝含量。
温度60 ℃、液固比6 mL/g、反应时间60 min,考察了盐酸浓度对铁浸出率的影响,结果如图2所示。由图2可以看出,随着盐酸浓度升高,铁浸出率呈先上升后下降的趋势;盐酸浓度25%时,铁浸出率达89.9%;继续提高盐酸浓度,铁浸出率下降。随着盐酸浓度增加,浸出液pH值降低,参与反应的氢离子浓度增加,有利于铁离子浸出;但随着盐酸浓度进一步增加,浸出过程中盐酸的挥发加剧,降低了浸出液中氢离子的浓度,导致铁浸出率下降。综合考虑,选择盐酸浓度25%为宜。
温度60 ℃、盐酸浓度25%、反应时间60 min,考察了液固比对铁浸出率的影响,结果如图3所示。由图3可以看出,随着液固比增加,铁浸出率升高;液固比为6 mL/g时,铁浸出率达98.7%;继续增加液固比,铁浸出率变化不明显。液固比的增加意味着盐酸消耗量增加,反应剩余的盐酸量增加,在后续调节pH值的过程中增大了氢氧化钠用量。综合考虑,液固比以6 mL/g为宜。
盐酸浓度25%、液固比6 mL/g、反应时间60 min,考察了温度对铁浸出率的影响,结果如图4所示。由图4可以看出,随着反应温度升高,铁浸出率增加;温度升至60 ℃时,铁浸出率达98.7%;继续升温,铁浸出率变化不明显。随着温度升高,分子反应活性增大,反应速率加快,能促进铁的浸出,但过高的温度会加剧盐酸挥发,造成盐酸损失,能耗增大。综合考虑,反应温度60 ℃为宜。
盐酸浓度25%、液固比6 mL/g、反应温度60 ℃,考察了反应时间对铁浸出率的影响,结果如图5所示。由图5可以看出,随着反应时间增加,铁浸出率升高;反应时间60 min时,铁浸出率达98.7%;继续延长反应时间,铁浸出率趋于稳定。反应时间越长,浸出液中的氢离子与铁接触越充分,铁浸出越完全,但过长的反应时间会导致能耗增加,效率变低。综合考虑,反应时间60 min为宜。
经盐酸浸出铁后,浸出液中各杂质元素含量如表2所示。经盐酸浸出后,钛含量下降,说明在浸出过程中部分钛离子发生水解并生成偏钛酸沉淀进入滤渣。
反应初始pH值对铜和钛的去除率影响较为显著[12],因此要尽可能地提高反应初始pH值。通过前期预实验发现,反应初始pH值超过0.7时,加入还原铁粉反应后会出现白色沉淀,主要原因是在该条件下生成了部分磷酸铁沉淀,损失了部分铁磷元素。调节初始反应pH值为0.6,在反应温度60 ℃、反应时间30 min条件下考察了铁粉添加量(浸出液中铁物质的量倍数)对浸出液中铜和钛去除率的影响,结果如图6所示。由图6可以看出,随着还原铁粉添加量增大,铜和钛去除率增加;还原铁粉添加量为浸出液中铁物质的量0.55倍时,铜的去除率达92.5%,钛去除率达82.4%;继续增加还原铁粉添加量,铜与钛去除率变化不大。随着还原铁粉添加量增加,还原铁粉与铜离子的碰撞概率增加,铜离子与还原铁粉反应较完全,铜去除率增加;还原铁粉添加量增加,导致还原铁粉与盐酸反应,消耗了更多的氢离子,反应体系pH值上升,有利于钛水解反应正向进行,提高了钛去除率。综合考虑铜离子与钛离子去除率,还原铁粉添加量为浸出液中铁物质的量0.55倍为宜。
还原铁粉添加量为浸出液中铁物质的量0.55倍、反应时间30 min,考察了反应温度对浸出液中铜和钛去除率的影响,结果如图7所示。由图7可以看出,反应温度从30 ℃升至60 ℃时,铜离子去除率由88.3%升至92.5%;继续升高温度,铜离子去除率下降。钛去除率随着反应温度升高而增大,温度70 ℃时,钛离子去除率达87.7%。反应温度升高,分子反应活性增大,铜离子与铁粉的碰撞概率增加,铜去除率增加。继续升高反应温度,一方面铁粉与氢离子反应加剧,降低了溶液中的铁含量,铁粉与铜离子的碰撞概率降低,置换反应不完全,降低了铜离子去除率;另一方面,升高温度可能会导致置换出的单质铜加速氧化,在酸性条件下与氢离子反应,重新以铜离子形式进入溶液,导致铜离子去除率下降。由于钛的水解反应属于吸热反应,升高反应温度有利于水解反应的进行,提高了钛去除率。综合考虑铜离子与钛离子去除率,反应温度60 ℃为宜。
还原铁粉添加量为浸出液中铁物质的量0.55倍、反应温度60 ℃,考察了反应时间对浸出液中铜和钛去除率的影响,结果如图8所示。由图8可以看出,随着反应时间增加,铜离子去除率逐渐增加,反应时间35 min时,铜离子去除率达96.2%;继续延长反应时间,铜离子去除率下降。钛离子去除率随着反应时间延长而增加。反应时间越长,铁粉与铜的置换反应进行得越充分,铜离子去除率越高,但随着反应时间增加,被置换出来的铜被氧化后与氢离子反应生成铜离子重新进入溶液,导致铜离子去除率降低。由于钛的水解是一个较为缓慢的过程,延长反应时间有利于钛水解反应的进行。综合考虑铜离子与钛离子的去除率,反应时间35 min为宜。
在以上优化条件下,铁粉置换-水解去除浸出液中铜、钛,铜去除率达96.2%、钛去除率达83.6%。
反应时间30 min、氟化钠与铝物质的量比6∶1、反应温度50 ℃,考察了反应pH值对钛铝去除率的影响,结果如图9所示。由图9可以看出,随着体系反应pH值增加,钛与铝去除率升高。pH=1.9时,钛去除率达99.9%,铝去除率达92.2%。继续提高反应pH值,钛和铝去除率变化不明显。这是由于在强酸性条件下反应产生的六氟铝酸钠发生沉淀溶解,铝以离子形式重新进入溶液,不利于铝的去除。提高反应pH值有利于生成六氟铝酸钠沉淀。由于钛的水解反应受pH值的影响较大,提高反应pH值有利于钛水解反应的进行。反应pH值1.9时,钛去除率接近100%,水解反应基本完成。综合考虑钛和铝去除率,反应pH值1.9为宜。
反应时间30 min、氟化钠与铝物质的量比6∶1、反应pH值1.9,考察了反应温度对钛、铝去除率的影响,结果如图10所示。由图10可以看出,随着温度升高,铝去除率逐渐降低,反应温度40 ℃时,铝去除率达96.1%;钛去除率随着温度升高逐渐增大,反应温度50 ℃时,钛去除率达99.9%。这是因为随着反应温度升高,一部分氟离子以氟化氢气体形式逸出,降低了溶液中的氟离子浓度,导致铝离子去除率下降。由于钛的水解反应属于吸热反应,升高反应温度有利于水解反应的进行,提高了钛去除率。综合考虑钛离子和铝离子去除率,反应温度40 ℃为宜。
反应时间30 min、反应温度40 ℃、反应pH值1.9,考察了氟化钠与铝物质的量比对钛、铝去除铝的影响,结果如图11所示。由图11可以看出,随着氟化钠添加量增加,铝去除率逐渐升高,氟化钠与铝物质的量比8∶1时,铝去除率达99.3%;钛去除率随着氟化钠添加量增加而降低,氟化钠与铝物质的量比8∶1时,钛去除率达97.6%。这是由于随着氟化钠添加量增加,溶液中氟离子浓度增加,与铝结合生成的六氟铝酸钠量增加,铝去除率升高,同时溶液中多余的氟离子与溶液中的钛离子形成配合物,抑制了钛离子的水解,降低了钛去除率。综合考虑钛离子与铝离子的去除率,氟化钠与铝物质的量比8∶1为宜。
经两步除杂后,浸出液中各杂质元素含量如表3所示。除杂后铜、钛、铝含量较除杂前明显下降,除杂效果良好。
1)以废旧LiFePO4正极粉提锂后的磷酸铁渣为原料,采用盐酸浸出,在盐酸浓度25%、液固比6 mL/g、浸出温度60 ℃、浸出时间60 min条件下,磷酸铁渣中铁浸出率达98.7%。
2)浸出铁后的溶液采用铁粉置换-水解除铜和钛,控制初始pH值为0.6,铁粉添加量为浸出液中铁物质的量0.55倍、反应温度60 ℃、反应时间35 min时,铜去除率达96.2%,钛去除率达83.6%,铜离子含量满足后续制备电池级磷酸铁的要求。
3)除铜浸出液采用水解-化学沉淀法除钛和铝,氟化钠与铝物质的量比8∶1、pH=1.9、反应温度40 ℃、反应时间30 min时,钛去除率达97.6%(溶液中残余钛离子含量为0.648 mg/L),铝去除率达99.3%(溶液中残余铝离子含量为0.564 mg/L),钛、铝离子含量满足后续制备电池级磷酸铁的要求。
