A vertical stirring mill was introduced for regrinding the graphite concentrate from the rougher in a graphite mine of Heilongjiang Province. Using ceramic ball as the grinding medium, the influences of processing parameters, including rotation speed of mill, diameter of medium ball and grinding time, on the grinding and flotation performances of graphite ore were investigated. The graphite ore was beneficiated adopting an open-circuit flotation process after it was milled with the optimized grinding parameters including alternating (slow-fast-slow) rotation speed, medium ball diameter of 8-10 mm and grinding time of 5 min. The as-obtained graphite concentrate, with the 24.51% in a size fraction of -0.045 mm, has a fixed carbon content of 95.83% and large-flake graphite content of 14.27%.

对黑龙江某石墨粗精矿进行了立式搅拌磨机再磨试验。以陶瓷球为磨矿介质,研究了磨机转速、介质球直径、磨矿时间等工艺参数对石墨磨矿-浮选效果的影响。结果表明,石墨磨矿的优化工艺参数为:采用慢-快-慢交替的磨机转速,陶瓷介质球直径8~10 mm,磨矿时间5 min,在该优化条件下进行磨矿-浮选开路试验,获得了固定碳含量95.83%、-0.045 mm粒级含量24.51%、大鳞片(+0.15 mm)含量14.27%的石墨精矿。

对黑龙江某石墨粗精矿进行了立式搅拌磨机再磨试验。以陶瓷球为磨矿介质,研究了磨机转速、介质球直径、磨矿时间等工艺参数对石墨磨矿-浮选效果的影响。结果表明,石墨磨矿的优化工艺参数为:采用慢-快-慢交替的磨机转速,陶瓷介质球直径8~10 mm,磨矿时间5 min,在该优化条件下进行磨矿-浮选开路试验,获得了固定碳含量95.83%、-0.045 mm粒级含量24.51%、大鳞片(+0.15 mm)含量14.27%的石墨精矿。

A vertical stirring mill was introduced for regrinding the graphite concentrate from the rougher in a graphite mine of Heilongjiang Province. Using ceramic ball as the grinding medium, the influences of processing parameters, including rotation speed of mill, diameter of medium ball and grinding time, on the grinding and flotation performances of graphite ore were investigated. The graphite ore was beneficiated adopting an open-circuit flotation process after it was milled with the optimized grinding parameters including alternating (slow-fast-slow) rotation speed, medium ball diameter of 8-10 mm and grinding time of 5 min. The as-obtained graphite concentrate, with the 24.51% in a size fraction of -0.045 mm, has a fixed carbon content of 95.83% and large-flake graphite content of 14.27%.

鳞片石墨是一种重要的非金属矿物材料,它具有耐高温、热电导性、抗热震等优良特性,广泛应用于冶金、机械、能源材料、航空航天等工业[1-2]。黑龙江萝北地区具有丰富的鳞片石墨资源[3],产出的粒度小于0.15 mm、固定碳含量95%以上的石墨精粉用于制备球形石墨负极材料。制备球形石墨时要求原料石墨精矿微细粒级(-0.045 mm)含量在35%以下[4]。然而,萝北地区多数选厂生产的石墨精粉里微细粒级含量超过45%,且石墨分级工序控制难度大,严重影响后续球形石墨成球率及产品经济效益。本文从磨选阶段入手,对黑龙江萝北地区石墨进行再磨参数优化研究,减少石墨鳞片破坏现象,降低微细粒级石墨产率,为工业应用提供技术指导。
试验原料为黑龙江萝北云山地区的石墨矿。石墨原矿破碎至-3 mm、球磨至-0.074 mm粒级占60%,然后在煤油用量200 g/t、2号油用量80 g/t条件下浮选,制得石墨粗精矿,用于再磨参数优化试验研究。
石墨粗精矿主要化学成分见表1,粒度分析结果见表2。该粗精矿固定碳含量40.26%,+0.15 mm粒级含量11.43%,-0.045 mm粒级含量37.87%。
主要设备及仪器包括立式搅拌磨机(GLM-10L)、浮选机(XFD-3L型及XFD-1.5L型)、真空过滤机(XTLZ-Φ260/Φ200)、数显鼓风干燥箱(GZX-9240MBE)、泰勒筛(Φ200×50型)、超声波清洗机(HT-1000型)等。依照国标GB 3251—2008《石墨化学分析方法》测试分析固定碳含量。
采用GLM-10L立式搅拌磨机作为实验室再磨设备,采用密度3.2 g/cm3、直径4~6 mm的陶瓷球[5]作为磨矿介质,进行磨矿参数优化研究。
在石墨的磨矿参数中,磨机转速是石墨精粉粒度分布较为重要的影响因素之一[6]。对于石墨而言,磨机转速过高易造成石墨鳞片破坏、变细,设备磨损也会加快。按图1所示流程,在磨矿浓度20%、磨矿时间5 min条件下,进行了磨机转速对比试验,再磨1产品粒度分布结果与浮选1精矿产品筛分结果见表3
表3可以看出,随着磨机转速提高,再磨1产品-0.045 mm粒级含量从46.28%提升到58.47%,+0.15 mm粒级含量从10.19%下降到5.76%,说明磨机转速越高,对石墨鳞片的破坏越大,细粉产生量增多。但浮选1精矿产品+0.15 mm粒级含量相应升高,-0.045 mm细粒级含量有所降低。原因是在磨矿过程中,鳞片边缘的脉石被擦洗下来,变成细粒产品,浮选过程中,细粒级且夹带脉石的产品不易上浮而进入中矿产品中,浮选精矿产品粒度变粗。
图1所示流程进行7次磨矿、8次浮选,7次磨矿使用相同的磨机转速,所得磨矿产品与浮选精矿产品粒度分析结果见图2,最终石墨精矿选别指标及粒度筛析结果见表4
图2可知,各段浮选精矿产品比磨矿产品-0.045 mm粒级含量低、+0.15 mm粒级含量有所增加,主要原因是磨矿过程中产生的细粒级进入中矿中,但磨机转速越大,精矿产品中-0.045 mm粒级含量越高。由表4可以看出,每段磨矿采用相同的磨机转速,磨机转速超过160 r/min时,浮选最终精矿产品固定碳含量都能达到95%以上。随着磨机转速提高,最终精矿产品中+0.15 mm粒级含量降低、-0.045 mm细粒级含量增加。磨机转速120 r/min时,精矿产品中+0.15 mm粒级含量最高(16.63%)、-0.045 mm粒级含量最低(23.24%),但精矿固定碳含量未能达到95%;磨机转速240 r/min时,固定碳含量虽达到了95%以上,但精矿产品中-0.045 mm粒级含量达31.84%,产生了过磨。因此磨机转速需适当加强。
在石墨各段磨矿-浮选过程中,浮选精矿中脉石含量不同。脉石含量越多,磨矿对石墨鳞片的损伤越高[7]。在不同磨矿-浮选阶段采用不同磨机转速进行磨矿,能有效减少石墨鳞片的破坏,也能减少石墨的过磨。采用不同磨机转速对不同磨矿段进行优化试验,各段磨机转速见表5,试验流程同图1,各段磨矿产品与浮选精矿产品粒度分析结果见图3。采用快慢交替的磨机转速进行磨矿-浮选,7次磨矿、8次浮选最终石墨精矿产率27.08%、固定碳含量95.54%、+0.15 mm粒级含量13.36%、-0.045 mm粒级含量25.25%,较采用单一磨机转速指标更优。
综上所述,采用磨机转速慢-快-慢交替的磨矿方式,对萝北石墨有效解离与产品粒度分布有良好的提升作用。后续采用磨机转速慢-快-慢交替的磨矿方式进行磨矿。
根据前述试验原则与操作方法,采用直径4~6 mm、6~8 mm、8~10 mm、10~12 mm规格的陶瓷球作为磨矿介质,采用慢-快-慢交替磨矿工艺,磨矿时间5 min,按图1所示流程进行磨矿-浮选对比试验,最终精矿选别指标及粒度分析结果见表6
表6可以看出,在慢-快-慢交替磨矿方式下,介质球直径10 mm以下时,精矿固定碳品位能达到95%以上;而采用直径10~12 mm介质球,因介质球直径大,球与球之间间隙较大,磨矿捕捉擦洗效果相对偏弱,最终精矿固定碳含量只有94.34%。在一定范围内,介质球尺寸越大,精矿产品细粒级含量相对越少,采用直径10~12 mm介质球时,精矿中+0.15 mm含量增至15.35%,且-0.045 mm含量降至23.11%;但相同磨机速度下,介质球直径越大,介质球之间的间隙越多,在石墨磨矿过程中,解离程度不够,造成浮选产品固定碳含量降低。采用直径8~10 mm介质球磨矿,精矿固定碳含量能达到95%以上,且-0.045 mm含量不到24%,+0.15 mm粒级含量达到15%以上,因此选择直径8~10 mm陶瓷球作为磨矿介质较为适宜。
采用直径8~10 mm陶瓷球为磨矿介质,采用慢-快-慢交替的磨机转速,按图1所示流程,进行了磨矿时间(7段磨矿采用相同的磨矿时间)对比试验,结果见表7
表7可以看出,采用慢-快-慢交替磨机转速,随着磨矿时间增加,浮选最终精矿固定碳含量增高。在一定范围内,磨矿时间越短,精矿产品细粒级含量相对越少,每段磨矿时间均为3 min时,精矿中+0.15 mm粒级含量增至16.66%,且-0.045 mm粒级含量降至22.79%;但结合浮选效果,磨矿时间太短,解离程度不够,造成固定碳含量低。采用每段磨矿时间5 min进行磨矿,精矿固定碳含量达到95.83%,-0.045 mm粒级含量24.51%,+0.15 mm粒级含量14.27%。综合比较,每段磨矿时间5 min为宜。
对黑龙江萝北石墨进行了磨矿参数优化研究及开路浮选试验,得到以下结论:
1)因不同阶段石墨精矿固定碳含量不同,采用慢-快-慢交替的磨机转速磨矿并结合浮选,可获得固定碳含量95.54%、-0.045 mm粒级含量25.25%、+0.15 mm粒级含量13.36%的石墨精矿,比单一磨机转速磨矿-浮选指标更优。
2)在一定磨机转速下,选择直径8~10 mm陶瓷球为磨矿介质、磨矿时间5 min,可以获得固定碳含量95.83%、-0.045 mm粒级含量24.51%、大鳞片(+0.15 mm)含量14.27%的石墨精矿。研究结果可为现场工业生产提供技术支撑。
