In order to avoid formation of material ring in a rotary kiln caused by kiln phosphoric acid process, a technique of high-temperature consolidation of pellets was proposed, and the effects of types of binder, temperature and time of consolidation on the strength and reducibility of phosphate ore pellets were investigated. The results show that consolidation at a temperature over 800 ℃ with bentonite as binder can lead to the pellets with compressive strength and drop numbers obviously higher than those with sodium humate as the binder. With an addition of carbon at 1.4 times of the theoretical amount, CaO and SiO2 at a molar ratio of 0.35, an addition of bentonite at an amount of 1.5% of the total material weight, consolidation at 1 000 ℃ for 30 min results in the produced pellets with compressive strength of 345.36 N and drop numbers of 33.50.

为解决窑法磷酸工艺中回转窑结圈问题,提出一种球团高温固结工艺,考察了黏结剂种类、固结温度、固结时间对磷矿球团强度及其还原性的影响。结果表明,固结温度800 ℃以上,采用膨润土为黏结剂,球团抗压强度和落下强度明显高于腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团。在配碳量为理论用量的1.4倍、CaO与SiO2物质的量比0.35、膨润土添加量为总物料量的1.5%、固结温度1 000 ℃、固结时间30 min条件下,球团抗压强度和落下强度分别为345.36 N和33.50次。

为解决窑法磷酸工艺中回转窑结圈问题,提出一种球团高温固结工艺,考察了黏结剂种类、固结温度、固结时间对磷矿球团强度及其还原性的影响。结果表明,固结温度800 ℃以上,采用膨润土为黏结剂,球团抗压强度和落下强度明显高于腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团。在配碳量为理论用量的1.4倍、CaO与SiO2物质的量比0.35、膨润土添加量为总物料量的1.5%、固结温度1 000 ℃、固结时间30 min条件下,球团抗压强度和落下强度分别为345.36 N和33.50次。

In order to avoid formation of material ring in a rotary kiln caused by kiln phosphoric acid process, a technique of high-temperature consolidation of pellets was proposed, and the effects of types of binder, temperature and time of consolidation on the strength and reducibility of phosphate ore pellets were investigated. The results show that consolidation at a temperature over 800 ℃ with bentonite as binder can lead to the pellets with compressive strength and drop numbers obviously higher than those with sodium humate as the binder. With an addition of carbon at 1.4 times of the theoretical amount, CaO and SiO2 at a molar ratio of 0.35, an addition of bentonite at an amount of 1.5% of the total material weight, consolidation at 1 000 ℃ for 30 min results in the produced pellets with compressive strength of 345.36 N and drop numbers of 33.50.

磷酸是重要的化工原料,广泛应用于农业、冶金、医药、半导体等行业[1]。目前,磷酸的生产工艺主要有湿法和电炉法[2-3],这两种工艺对磷矿品位的要求都很高,通常要求磷矿P2O5品位不低于25%[4]。然而,我国磷矿资源贫矿多、富矿少,富矿资源(w(P2O5)≥30%)仅占总量的8%,而中低品位磷矿(w(P2O5)≤18%)则占50%以上[5]。随着富矿资源逐渐减少,传统的磷酸生产工艺受到严重制约。
窑法磷酸工艺因适合处理中低品位磷矿,且能耗较低,已受到了广泛关注和大量研究[4,6]。但窑法磷酸工艺存在回转窑结圈问题,至今未能实现工业化[7-8]。入炉球团强度不足是引起回转窑结圈问题的关键因素之一[9-10]。高温固结(800~1 200 ℃)可有效提高球团强度,已广泛应用于电炉法黄磷的生产过程[11-12]。为此,本文提出了一种用于窑法磷酸工艺的球团高温固结方法,重点考察了黏结剂种类、固结温度和固结时间对球团性能的影响,相关研究结果可为窑法磷酸工艺产业化提供基础技术支撑。
球团成球是将细磨物料加水润湿,在机械力和毛细力作用下滚动而形成一定粒度的生球。细磨物料在成球过程中,首先形成球核,接着球核长大,然后是生球紧密阶段。造球物料中添加黏结剂的目的在于改善其成球性和提高生球内颗粒之间的分子黏结力,以便提高生球强度和热稳定性。
球团矿的固结主要靠固相反应,包括在高温下单元系颗粒固相扩散固结、多元系通过固体扩散形成化合物或固溶体。这些过程一般都发生在它们熔化温度之下,可以不产生液相或产生少量液相,便可使球团矿固结起来,并且具有足够的强度。焙烧球团矿固结过程中固相扩散机理如下:固态物质中的质点不断运动,温度愈高,运动愈激烈,而且质点之间可以进行反应。根据前人研究结果,固体物质之间开始反应的温度远低于它们的熔化温度。球团矿在焙烧过程中,随着温度升高,矿物晶格中的质点——分子或离子运动加速,一旦获得足够的活化能,它们就能够克服周围质点的作用力,不仅可以在晶格内部迁移(即内扩散),也可以扩散到晶格表面,乃至扩散到与之邻近的其他晶体的晶格之内,由此发生固结效应。
实验用磷矿、硅石、无烟煤主要化学成分分析结果分别见表13。由表1可见,实验用磷矿的P2O5品位为19.23%。
为了考察黏结剂种类对固结球团强度性能的影响,选用了无机黏结剂膨润土和有机黏结剂腐殖酸钠两种常见的黏结剂进行实验。膨润土主要化学成分见表4,粒度为-75 μm粒级占90%;腐殖酸钠选用HG/T 3278—2011优级品(可溶性腐殖酸含量大于70%,粒度为1~4.75 mm)。实验中膨润土可直接使用,腐殖酸钠则根据添加量配成溶液使用。
造球过程主要使用的仪器有V型混料机、轮碾机和圆盘造球机(Φ1 000);球团性能检测所用仪器主要有抗压强度测试仪、UW1020型电子天平(精确至1 mg)、气氛还原炉、DHG-9070A型鼓风干燥箱等。
先将称量好的磷矿、硅石、无烟煤粉料倒入V型混料机进行混匀,然后将混合好的物料放入容器,加入黏结剂再进行人工预混,使物料和黏结剂混匀;再将预混好的物料放入轮碾机中,运行设备约10 min,达到运行时间后,查看物料中的母球状态;调节圆盘造球机参数,启动圆盘造球机,进行造球。
将得到的生球放入干燥箱内200 ℃±5 ℃烘干2 h,蒸发生球团表面水分防止球团爆裂。干燥后的球团放入气氛控制炉中,隔绝炉内空气,分别升温至设定温度,并恒定保温时长,使球团能够在高温炉内固结。恒温干燥过程结束后,将其冷却至室温。
落下强度测定:首先将球团置于一定高度(生球为0.5 m,干球为1.0 m)自由落下至10 mm厚的钢板上,若落下n次后发生破裂,则该球的落下强度为n-1次。每次测20个球,取平均值作为球团的落下强度(单位为次)。
抗压强度测定:将球团置于抗压强度测量仪上,在其上部缓缓施加一个垂直向下的压力,直至生球发生破裂,此时电子天平所显示的压力值即为该球的抗压强度,每次测20个球团,取平均值作为球团样品的抗压强度(单位为N)。
还原性表征:固结后球团放入已称重坩埚内(坩埚底部开有小孔以便磷蒸气溢出),将坩埚放入还原气氛炉的中心位置,打开气体阀门,以流速0.2 L/min稳定通入高纯氮气,再打开还原气氛炉,设置升温程序,反应温度为1 350 ℃,保温时间30 min,反应结束后自然降温至室温,测定还原后球团的质量及P2O5含量,计算黏结剂对球团中P2O5还原性能的影响。
式中R为球团还原率,%;MM分别为球团还原前、后的质量,g;CC分别为球团中还原前、后的P2O5含量,%。
配碳量为理论用量的1.4倍、CaO与SiO2物质的量比0.35、黏结剂(腐殖酸钠或膨润土)用量为总物料量的1.5%、固结时间60 min,考察了固结温度对球团强度的影响,结果如图1所示。
图1(a)可见,固结温度越高,对球团抗压强度的影响越显著。固结温度从200 ℃增加至800 ℃,以膨润土为黏结剂球团的抗压强度从107.39 N缓慢增加至165.08 N,随着固结温度进一步增加,球团抗压强度迅速增加,固结温度1 000 ℃时,抗压强度达到345.01 N。对于腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团,固结温度从200 ℃增加至800 ℃,其抗压强度从129.6 N缓慢降至112.6 N,而进一步增加固结温度,其抗压强度明显增大,固结温度1 000 ℃时,抗压强度达到287.00 N。
图1(b)可见,固结温度200 ℃时,膨润土和腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团落下强度分别为3.05次和3.25次,随着固结温度增加至800 ℃,两种球团的落下强度分别增加至12.10次和4.70次,固结温度进一步增加至1 000 ℃,两种球团的落下强度迅速增加至26.85次和22.00次。此外,固结温度超过800 ℃后,膨润土为黏结剂的球团落下强度始终高于腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团。固结温度1 000 ℃为宜。
固结温度1 000 ℃,其他条件不变,固结时间对球团强度的影响如图2所示。
图2(a)可见,随着固结时间增加,球团抗压强度逐渐增大,而且在实验固结时间范围内,以膨润土为黏结剂的球团抗压强度明显高于以腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团,固结时间120 min时,以膨润土为黏结剂的球团抗压强度达到474.79 N,而腐殖酸钠黏结剂的球团抗压强度仅287.01 N。
图2(b)可见,对于腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团,其落下强度随固结时间增加而增加,而对于膨润土为黏结剂的球团,其落下强度随固结时间增加而降低,但在实验固结时间范围内,以膨润土为黏结剂球团的落下强度始终高于以腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团。较佳的固结时间为30 min。
以膨润土为黏结剂,在固结温度1 000 ℃、固结时间30 min条件下,球团可以获得较高的抗压强度和落下强度,分别为345.36 N和33.50次。
配碳量为理论量的1.4倍、CaO与SiO2物质的量比0.35、黏结剂用量为磷矿用量的1.5%、固结温度1 000 ℃、固结时间2 h、还原温度1 350 ℃、还原时间30 min,考察了两种黏结剂对球团还原性的影响,结果见表5
表5可见,两种黏结剂制成的球团经高温固结后,其失重率分别为18.02%和15.63%,还原率均在92%以上,说明这两种黏结剂制成的球团还原性能良好,且两者对球团还原性能影响的差异较小。综上所述,为了降低回转窑的结圈风险,使球团具有更高的抗压强度和落下强度,选择膨润土为黏结剂。
1)黏结剂种类、固结温度和固结时间是影响球团抗压强度和落下强度的关键因素。当固结温度超过800 ℃时,球团的抗压强度和落下强度急剧增加;采用膨润土为黏结剂时,球团抗压强度随着固结时间升高而增加,而落下强度则随着固结时间升高而降低;采用腐殖酸钠为黏结剂时,球团抗压强度和落下强度均随着温度升高而增大。固结温度800~1 000 ℃时,以膨润土为黏结剂的球团抗压强度和落下强度均高于以腐殖酸钠为黏结剂的球团。因此,膨润土是磷矿球团高温固结时更理想的黏结剂。
2)在配碳量为理论用量的1.4倍、CaO与SiO2物质的量比0.35、膨润土添加量为总物料量的1.5%、固结温度1 000 ℃、固结时间30 min条件下,球团可以获得较佳的抗压强度和落下强度,分别为345.36 N和33.50次。
3)膨润土和腐殖酸钠两种黏结剂对球团的还原性能影响较小,球团经高温固结后再进行还原,其P2O5还原率可达92%以上。
