Beneficiation tests were conducted to process the low-grade cobalt-nickel ore from Hebei Province by adopting an asynchronous flotation flowsheet consisting sequentially of staged grinding, flotation of sulfide minerals and flotation of sulfurized oxide minerals. In the study, combined depressants were used for better depressing of slime, while regrinding process was introduced to intensify the sulfurization effect. Finally, a cobalt-nickel sulfide concentrate with Co grade of 2.00% and Ni grade of 3.90% and a cobalt-nickel oxide concentrate with Co grade of 1.47% and Ni grade of 2.73% were obtained. The total Co recovery and total Ni recovery reached 77.61% and 79.20%, respectively. In this way, the preliminary enrichment and recovery of Co and Ni resources can be realized, laying a foundation for their further purification.

对河北某低品位钴镍矿进行了选矿试验研究,确定采用阶段磨矿、先浮硫化矿、后硫化浮选氧化矿的异步浮选流程,通过组合药剂抑制矿泥、再磨强化硫化效果等手段,最终得到钴品位2.00%、镍品位3.90%的硫化钴镍精矿和钴品位1.47%、镍品位2.73%的氧化钴镍精矿,钴总回收率达到了77.61%,镍总回收率达到了79.20%。实现了钴和镍的初步富集与回收,为钴和镍的进一步提纯奠定了基础。

Beneficiation tests were conducted to process the low-grade cobalt-nickel ore from Hebei Province by adopting an asynchronous flotation flowsheet consisting sequentially of staged grinding, flotation of sulfide minerals and flotation of sulfurized oxide minerals. In the study, combined depressants were used for better depressing of slime, while regrinding process was introduced to intensify the sulfurization effect. Finally, a cobalt-nickel sulfide concentrate with Co grade of 2.00% and Ni grade of 3.90% and a cobalt-nickel oxide concentrate with Co grade of 1.47% and Ni grade of 2.73% were obtained. The total Co recovery and total Ni recovery reached 77.61% and 79.20%, respectively. In this way, the preliminary enrichment and recovery of Co and Ni resources can be realized, laying a foundation for their further purification.

钴是一种过渡金属,具有很好的耐高温、耐腐蚀和铁磁性性能,钴及其合金广泛用于化学催化、涡轮制造、航天工业、新能源汽车制造等领域。目前全球钴市场由充电电池行业主导,该行业钴使用量占比达58%[1]。在减少温室气体排放背景下,全球性能源转型极大刺激了锂、镍、钴、稀土等关键矿产的需求,未来几年,全球钴仍将供不应求,钴工业发展潜力巨大[2]。镍是一种重要的战略金属,广泛应用于军工制造业、通信和新能源等领域,从1950年到2021年,全球原生镍金属消费量从不足20万吨增加到270余万吨,增长势头强劲。
受成矿条件制约,我国钴资源不多,储量仅占全球的1.1%且以共伴生矿为主,多为铜、镍、铁等矿床的伴生金属,钴平均品位仅0.02%。其中,镍钴伴生矿占据了50%的钴储量,铜钴伴生矿占据了44%的钴储量,原生钴储量仅占6%[3]。我国钴、镍资源家底薄与需求日益增长的矛盾日渐突出,因此,急需克服资源、技术等不利因素影响,开发出适合我国国情的低品位钴镍矿开发利用方法。
河北省钴资源主要分布于邯邢地区,为接触交代型铁矿的伴生钴矿,常与镍、硫、铜等以伴生元素赋存在磁铁矿及含钴铜黄铁矿中,矿石中钴含量0.01%~0.14%[4]。本文以河北某低品位钴镍矿为研究对象,基于其矿石性质,采用阶段磨矿、异步浮选的工艺流程富集回收钴和镍,试验过程中通过组合药剂抑制矿泥、再磨强化对氧化矿的硫化效果等手段,探索低品位钴镍的高效回收工艺,为该类资源的工业化利用提供可行性方案。
河北某钴镍矿属于蚀变角闪岩型矿,主要含钴矿物为含钴镍黄铁矿、辉砷(钴)镍矿、方硫镍矿及钴华等,其他金属矿物为白铁矿、闪锌矿、黄铜矿等,主要脉石矿物为绿泥石、石英、黑云母、方解石等,其矿物组成及含量详见表1,化学多元素分析结果见表2,钴、镍物相分析结果见表3
含钴镍黄铁矿呈半自形粒状和他形粒状,可被白铁矿交代,多有碎裂现象,其碎块呈棱角状。破碎后的含钴镍黄铁矿可被辉砷(钴)镍矿、闪锌矿、黄铜矿胶结,或分布于脉石矿物颗粒间隙,粒度变化较大,多在0.01~1.00 mm之间。
辉砷(钴)镍矿呈他形粒状和不规则粒状,亦见隐晶状,与其他矿物的嵌布关系较为复杂:除呈单粒产出外,多沿钴镍黄铁矿、白铁矿的破碎裂隙贯入,或依附含钴镍黄铁矿颗粒的边部生长,也有分布在黄铜矿中及围绕于脉石矿物颗粒边缘,整体粒度较细,多在0.003~0.03 mm之间。
矿石性质研究结果表明,钴和镍主要以硫化矿和氧化矿形态出现,载体矿物不唯一,且钴和镍呈混杂的固溶体,加之原矿中钴、镍品位较低,白铁矿可浮性强于含钴镍的黄铁矿,难以获得品位较高的含钴独立矿物。因此,初步采用混合浮选的方法回收含钴镍黄铁矿和辉砷(钴)镍矿,再通过硫化浮选法回收氧化矿物[5],以回收钴元素为主,镍作为伴生元素进行回收。试验原则流程见图1
考虑到含钴硫化矿种类较多,以捕收能力较强的丁基黄药为捕收剂[6]、碳酸钠为pH值调整剂、松醇油为起泡剂,考察了磨矿细度对硫化矿浮选指标的影响,试验流程见图2,结果见图3。由图3可以看出,随着-0.074 mm粒级含量增加,硫化钴精矿中钴回收率和品位先提高后降低;-0.074 mm粒级含量超过70%后,回收率下降较明显。综合考虑,选取磨矿细度-0.074 mm粒级占70%进行硫化钴镍的浮选试验。
磨矿细度条件试验时,以碳酸钠作为pH值调整剂用量达到了25 kg/t,从节约成本考虑,选用石灰代替。加入石灰会使矿浆发黏,影响精矿品位,不宜大量使用,可以考虑选用碳酸钠和石灰组合作为调整剂。按图2所示流程,将调整剂加入磨机,磨矿细度-0.074 mm粒级占70%,捕收剂和起泡剂用量不变,调整剂种类及用量试验结果见表4
表4可以看出,采用石灰代替部分碳酸钠有利于提高精矿品位。这是由于石灰的加入抑制了可浮性较好的黄铁矿,但石灰用量也不宜过高。确定采用碳酸钠2 000 g/t和石灰4 000 g/t组合作为pH值调整剂。
矿石中的主要脉石矿物绿泥石、云母经磨矿后,一方面通过浮选泡沫夹带进入精矿影响品位,另一方面以矿泥形式罩盖在硫化矿物表面,会降低硫化精矿回收率。对于含镁层状硅酸盐矿物形成的矿泥,有效抑制剂主要有羧甲基纤维素(CMC)、六偏磷酸钠(calgon)、古尔胶、水玻璃、糊精、木质素磺酸盐等大分子抑制剂[7]。有研究发现calgon与CMC配合使用可以有效消除异相凝聚现象,强化CMC对绿泥石的抑制作用[8]。选择calgon和CMC作为脉石组合抑制剂,按图2所示流程,磨矿细度-0.074 mm粒级占70%,pH值调整剂碳酸钠用量2 000 g/t、石灰用量4 000 g/t,捕收剂和起泡剂用量不变,对calgon与CMC用量进行了试验,结果见表5
表5可知,随着calgon和CMC用量增加,硫化钴精矿钴品位逐渐提高,钴回收率呈下降趋势。综合考虑,粗选选择六偏磷酸钠(calgon)用量1 000 g/t、羧甲基纤维素(CMC)用量150 g/t作为抑制剂。
原矿经硫化钴一次粗选、一次扫选后,钴回收率一般在55%左右,尚有一部分损失于尾矿中。分析发现,除少量较难浮的硫化矿外,大部分钴和镍表现为氧化矿物的相态。为了进一步回收钴和镍,对扫选尾矿进行硫化、活化以期达到回收氧化钴镍的目的。
硫化浮选实践中较常见的、效果良好的硫化剂主要有硫化钠和硫氢化钠。一些研究发现,硫氢化钠用量的变化对矿浆电位的影响强于相同质量浓度的硫化钠[9],相同用量条件下,硫氢化钠对钴有更好的硫化效果[10-11]。以硫化矿浮选尾矿为给矿,采用丁基黄药为捕收剂、松醇油为起泡剂,采用硫氢化钠作为氧化矿硫化剂,对其用量进行了试验,试验流程见图4,结果见图5
图5结果表明,硫氢化钠的加入可以活化钴的氧化矿物,随着其用量增加,钴作业回收率先上升后下降,而精矿品位呈逐渐下降趋势。这可能是硫氢化钠活化了部分被抑制的黄铁矿。综合考虑,硫氢化钠用量应控制在1 000 g/t。
经过硫氢化钠的活化处理,钴作业回收率仍未超过50%,原因主要有两个:一是含钴矿物结晶粒度粗细不均,一些嵌布粒度细的矿物没有解离;二是硫氢化钠对氧化钴矿物硫化作用不够充分。为了进一步强化对氧化钴的回收,对硫化矿浮选尾矿进行了再磨试验,试验流程同图4,将硫氢化钠加入磨机,固定用量1 000 g/t,再磨细度对氧化钴精矿的影响见图6
图6可以看出,随着再磨产品-0.074 mm粒级含量增加,氧化钴精矿钴品位先小幅增加后急剧下降,钴回收率先上升后下降。再磨能显著提高钴回收率,但由于易泥化脉石的存在,过高的磨矿细度反而会恶化浮选环境。再磨细度选择-0.074 mm粒级占80%为宜。
结合条件试验结果进行了全流程闭路试验,硫化矿浮选和氧化矿浮选均采用一次粗选、一次扫选、三次精选,精选适当加入六偏磷酸钠,试验流程见图7,结果见表6。由闭路试验结果可知,经过两段磨矿、异步浮选流程,可获得钴品位2.00%、镍品位3.90%的硫化钴精矿和钴品位1.47%、镍品位2.73%的氧化钴精矿,钴总回收率达到了77.61%,镍总回收率达到了79.20%。
河北某钴镍矿石中的钴、镍元素部分以独立矿物形态存在,且存在原矿品位低、矿物成分多、钴氧化程度高、有用矿物嵌布粒度粗细不均、结构构造复杂、脉石矿物易泥化等特点。调整剂碳酸钠和石灰配合使用有助于节约成本、优化浮选环境,提高硫化钴回收率;选择六偏磷酸钠和羧甲基纤维素作为脉石组合抑制剂,有利于提高精矿品位;采用再磨不仅促进了细粒级矿物的解离还强化了硫氢化钠对氧化矿的硫化效果。通过两段磨矿、先浮选硫化矿再浮选氧化矿的异步浮选流程,可获得钴品位2.00%、镍品位3.90%的混合硫化钴精矿和钴品位1.47%、镍品位2.73%的混合氧化钴精矿,钴总回收率达到了77.61%,镍总回收率达到了79.20%,该流程克服了钴镍矿物氧化程度高、嵌布粒度粗细不均、脉石矿物泥化等不利影响,为钴镍的进一步提纯提供了较好原料。
