To achieve the separation of arsenic and antimony from high-arsenic antimony-containing dust, a selective oxidation roasting process was employed with barium oxide as an antimony-fixing agent. The effects of oxygen partial pressure, roasting temperature, roasting time, and the dosage of antimony-fixing agent on the volatilization rates of arsenic and antimony from the dust were explored. The results indicate that with pure oxygen flow rate at 40 mL/min, addition of barium oxide at an amount of 2%, and roasting at 450 ℃ for 60 min, the volatilization rates of arsenic and antimony in the dust can reach 90.46% and 6.79%, respectively. It is shown that the volatile products contain 99.53% As2O3 and 0.26% Sb, thus effective separation of arsenic and antimony from high-arsenic antimony-contained dust antimony can be actualized.

为了将含锑高砷烟尘中的砷锑元素分离,采用选择性氧化焙烧法,以氧化钡为固锑剂,研究氧气浓度、焙烧温度、焙烧时间、固锑剂添加量对含锑高砷烟尘中砷、锑挥发率的影响。结果表明,在纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min、氧化钡添加量2%、焙烧温度450 ℃、焙烧时间60 min条件下,烟尘中As和Sb挥发率分别为90.46%和6.79%,挥发产物中As2O3和Sb含量分别为99.53%和0.26%,实现了含锑高砷烟尘中砷与锑的有效分离。

To achieve the separation of arsenic and antimony from high-arsenic antimony-containing dust, a selective oxidation roasting process was employed with barium oxide as an antimony-fixing agent. The effects of oxygen partial pressure, roasting temperature, roasting time, and the dosage of antimony-fixing agent on the volatilization rates of arsenic and antimony from the dust were explored. The results indicate that with pure oxygen flow rate at 40 mL/min, addition of barium oxide at an amount of 2%, and roasting at 450 ℃ for 60 min, the volatilization rates of arsenic and antimony in the dust can reach 90.46% and 6.79%, respectively. It is shown that the volatile products contain 99.53% As2O3 and 0.26% Sb, thus effective separation of arsenic and antimony from high-arsenic antimony-contained dust antimony can be actualized.

我国锑资源储量居世界首位,但可用锑资源逐渐枯竭[1-2],导致锑资源供给不足,而市场对锑的需求日益增加,因此从二次锑资源中回收锑意义重大[3-4]。有色冶炼过程中会产生大量的砷锑烟尘,其中含砷、锑、铅、银等有价金属元素,具有很高的回收价值[5]。该类烟尘中砷含量高,若处理不当会对环境造成巨大污染,因此开发砷锑烟尘处理技术极为重要[6-8]。砷和锑同族,具有极为相似的理化性质,增加了砷锑分离的难度[9-10]。现有处理工艺主要有火法焙烧和湿法浸出[11],但湿法浸出会产生大量废水,可能会造成严重的二次污染。本文采用选择性氧化焙烧法分离含锑高砷烟尘中的砷和锑,基于砷、锑及其氧化物的理化特性,以氧化钡为添加剂提高砷锑分离效果,借助热力学分析和物相分析等手段,系统研究了氧气浓度、焙烧温度、固锑剂氧化钡添加量、焙烧时间对砷锑分离效果的影响。
含锑高砷烟尘产自山东烟台某冶炼厂,其主要化学元素组成见表1,XRD图谱见图1,烟尘SEM-EDS图像见图2
表1可知,烟尘中砷和锑质量分数分别为72.69%和2.39%。图1表明,烟尘中主要成分为As2O3以及As2O3与Sb2O3形成的砷锑固溶体。由图2可见,烟尘中As-O和As-Sb-O物相的分布特征与图1分析结果一致,表明烟尘中砷锑极难分离。
将烟尘与固锑剂氧化钡粉末按一定比例混匀后装入方形坩埚舟;将坩埚舟置于小型水平管式炉内,然后通入一定成分的混合气体,控制气体流速为40 mL/min,设置试验参数进行氧化焙烧试验,试验过程中产生的气体用15%NaOH溶液吸收净化。焙烧结束后,样品随炉冷却至室温,大部分砷以三氧化二砷形式挥发进入回收器中,锑、铜、铅等元素留在渣中。最后测量挥发产物及渣样中各元素含量。
试验试剂包括氧化钡(BaO,分析纯)、氢氧化钠(NaOH,分析纯)、氧气(纯度大于99.2%)和氮气(纯度99.99%)。试验设备为小型水平管式炉(青岛赛瑞达电子装备股份有限公司,GSL-1500x)。采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱仪(ICP-OES,美国利曼公司)分析元素含量。利用加装能量分散X光谱仪的场发射扫描电子显微镜(SEM-EDS,Quanta 200,美国FEI公司)分析样品形态特征和化学成分。
砷挥发率和锑挥发率计算公式为:
式中:RAsRSb分别为砷、锑元素挥发率,%;m0为反应前烟尘总质量,g;mslag为反应后残渣质量,g;w0(As)为反应前烟尘中砷质量分数,%;w0(Sb)为反应前烟尘中锑质量分数,%;mslag(As)为反应后残渣中砷质量分数,%;mslag(Sb)为反应后残渣中锑质量分数,%。
氧化焙烧过程中砷、锑的主要化学反应如下:
将体系氧化产物视为理想固溶体,参考Raoult定律,得到反应式(3)~(8)的标准吉布斯自由能变,如图3所示。烟尘中砷、锑的主要形式为As2O3和砷锑固溶体(Sb,As)2O3。砷锑固溶体蒸气压大于Sb2O3蒸气压、小于As2O3蒸气压。300 ℃以上时,As2O3与Sb2O3会结合形成As-Sb-O固溶体,因此很难在惰性气氛下将As2O3与Sb2O3分离。由反应式(3)~(5)可知,As2O3与Sb2O3在氧气条件下形成难挥发的物质As2O5、Sb2O4和Sb2O5;对比反应式(3)~(5)的吉布斯自由能可以看出,Sb2O3比As2O3更先通过氧化形成难挥发物高价锑氧化物。因此,在氧气气氛下,理论上Sb2O3可先形成难挥发的Sb2O4和Sb2O5,而As2O3转化为As4O6(g)挥发。由反应式(6)可以看出,(Sb,As)2O3固溶体结构限制了其中As2O3和Sb2O3组分的选择性氧化,不利于砷锑的分离。Sb2O4活度减少时,反应式(6)的吉布斯自由能下降,即促进了砷锑固溶体中Sb2O3和As2O3的选择性氧化。基于此,本文在烟尘氧化焙烧体系中引入碱性氧化物BaO,通过反应物与锑氧化产物结合的方式降低体系反应活度,继而促进(Sb,As)2O3固溶体中Sb2O3和As2O3的选择性氧化,从而降低锑挥发率。
不添加BaO,在气体流速40 mL/min、焙烧温度450 ℃、焙烧时间60 min条件下,研究了氧气浓度(体积分数,下同)对烟尘中砷锑分离效果的影响,结果见图4。氧气浓度是控制焙烧过程中砷和锑元素物相转变的重要参数。当锑转变成难挥发的Sb2O4和Sb2O5、砷转变为易挥发的As2O3时,可以实现砷和锑的分离。在N2气氛下焙烧,烟尘中大多数的砷和锑以As2O3和Sb2O3形式存在于烟尘中,在焙烧过程中又结合形成固溶体As-Sb-O,使砷和锑的分离效率降低[13]。氧气浓度升高,更多的氧与(Sb,As)2O3相接触,促进了氧化反应,砷转化形成Sb2O4、Sb2O5和Sb6O13等物质,阻碍了固溶体As-Sb-O的形成,促进了锑的固定。图4结果显示,氧气浓度从0增至100%,锑挥发率由72.17%降至14.53%,砷挥发率由98.78%降至92.59%。为了增加Sb的固定效率,合适的氧气浓度为100%,即在纯氧气氛下焙烧。
不添加BaO,在纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min、焙烧时间60 min条件下,焙烧温度对烟尘中砷锑分离效果的影响见图5。随着焙烧温度升高,As2O3和Sb2O3的蒸气压增大,理论上烟尘中As2O3和Sb2O3挥发率均会增加,但图5显示,焙烧温度由300 ℃增至400 ℃时,烟尘中砷、锑挥发率却呈降低趋势,原因是焙烧温度较低时,烟尘出现低温熔融现象,很大程度上限制了砷、锑挥发。焙烧温度400 ℃时,焙烧渣玻璃态化结构严重,渣中砷、锑以As-Sb-O形态共存。温度进一步提高至450 ℃时,物料开始由熔融态转变为不烧结或半烧结态,较大程度上促进了砷的挥发和砷、锑的分离,此温度下砷和锑挥发率分别为92.59%和14.53%。继续提高焙烧温度,砷、锑挥发率同步提升,特别是锑挥发率增幅较大,为了将更多的锑留在渣中并兼顾砷的挥发回收,适宜的焙烧温度为450 ℃。
纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min、焙烧温度450 ℃、焙烧时间60 min条件下,研究了BaO添加量对烟尘中砷锑分离效果的影响,结果见图6。根据反应式(3)~(4),在氧气气氛下,Sb2O3与氧气反应生成Sb2O4和Sb2O5,部分Sb2O3会与As2O3结合形成As-Sb-O相,促进锑的挥发,不利于砷锑分离,即使在适宜条件下锑挥发率仍有14.53%。添加BaO促进了Sb2O3的氧化,抑制了Sb2O3与As2O3的结合,BaO与Sb结合形成难挥发物,而砷以As4O6(g)形态大量挥发。BaO添加量5%时,焙烧渣中锑主要以锑酸钡形式存在,同时焙烧渣有砷酸钡形成,即添加BaO也对砷有一定固定作用,过量添加BaO不利于砷的挥发回收。图6显示,BaO添加量由0增至5%,锑挥发率由14.53%降至0.33%,砷挥发率由92.59%降至86.45%。适宜的BaO添加量为2%,此时砷挥发率为90.21%、锑挥发率为6.92%。
纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min、焙烧温度450 ℃、BaO添加量2%时焙烧时间对烟尘中砷锑分离效果的影响见图7图7显示,焙烧时间由30 min增至60 min时,砷挥发率由75.94%增至90.21%,锑挥发率由4.33%增至6.92%,继续延长焙烧时间,砷、锑挥发率均有一定程度增加,但幅度较小,适宜的焙烧时间为60 min。
纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min、氧化钙添加量为2%、焙烧温度450 ℃时,焙烧时间对挥发产物中锑含量的影响见图8。纯氧气氛下,焙烧时间60 min时,通过选择性氧化焙烧法实现了烟尘中锑的高效固定,砷挥发率为90.21%,锑挥发率仅6.92%,挥发产物中锑含量(质量分数)为0.26%。
根据上述试验结果,确定试验优化条件为:固锑剂BaO添加量2%,焙烧温度450 ℃,焙烧时间60 min,纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min。在该优化条件下进行了验证试验,结果如表2所示。采用选择性氧化焙烧法可以分离烟尘中的砷和锑,可重复性强。烟尘中砷挥发率为90.46%、锑挥发率为6.79%,挥发产物中As2O3质量分数为99.53%、Sb质量分数为0.26%。
1)含锑高砷烟尘中砷、锑分别以三氧化二砷和砷锑固溶体形式存在,采用传统焙烧法难以分离其中的砷和锑。以理想溶液模型对BaO参与下烟尘选择性氧化焙烧过程进行热力学分析,结果表明,添加BaO可以促进烟尘中砷和锑的分离。
2)针对某企业复杂含锑高砷烟尘,采用选择性氧化焙烧法,在氧化钡添加量2%、焙烧温度450 ℃、焙烧时间60 min、纯氧气氛、流速40 mL/min条件下,烟尘中As和Sb挥发率分别为90.46%和6.79%,挥发产物中As2O3和Sb质量分数分别为99.53%和0.26%,实现了复杂烟尘中砷和锑的有效分离。
