In order to identify the feasibility of preparing alkaline pellets with low-quality magnesium-containing flux, experiments on pelletizing, preheating and roasting were carried out. Three kinds of magnesium-containing flux from Wulongquan Mine of WISCO Resources Group Co., Ltd., including interbedded dolomite, light-burnt material and lightburnt dolomite, were taken for pelletizing, and then effects of different magnesia flux and the adding amount on pelleting, as well as following preheating and roasting processes of alkaline pellet were all explored. The results show that the green ball prepared with the flux of interbedded dolomite presents superior performance. It is found that with alkalinity of 0.8, the green ball prepared with two different blending schemes have drop number of 4.1 and 6.6 respectively from height of 0.5 m, and compressive strength of 20.3 N/pellet and 22.3 N/pellet respectively. By increasing the addition of magnesia flux in two blending schemes, both preheated balls and roasted balls have their strength decreased after an initial improvement. With alkalinity between 0.6 and 0.8, the prepared pellet can have compressive strength of 2 620 N/pellet and 2 963 N/pellet respectively after preheating and roasting process. It is recommended that with interbedded dolomite and light-burnt material as magnesia flux, the alkaline magnesium-containing pellet prepared with alkalinity of 0.6-0.8 can meet industrial requirements.

为查明利用低质含镁熔剂生产碱性球团的可行性,以武钢资源集团乌龙泉矿白互、轻烧料和轻烧白云石为镁质熔剂,通过造球、预热和焙烧试验,研究镁质熔剂种类及用量对成球行为、碱性球团预热、焙烧过程的影响。结果表明,使用白互熔剂为镁质熔剂时生球性能较优,碱度0.8时,两种配矿方案生球落下和抗压强度分别为4.1次/0.5 m和20.3 N/个、6.6次/0.5 m和22.3 N/个。各方案预热球强度、焙烧球强度随着镁质熔剂添加量增加呈先上升后下降的趋势,碱度0.6~0.8时,分别达到2 620 N/个、2 963 N/个。推荐白互和轻烧料作为镁质熔剂,碱度0.6~0.8时,可生产出满足工业要求的镁质碱性球团矿。

为查明利用低质含镁熔剂生产碱性球团的可行性,以武钢资源集团乌龙泉矿白互、轻烧料和轻烧白云石为镁质熔剂,通过造球、预热和焙烧试验,研究镁质熔剂种类及用量对成球行为、碱性球团预热、焙烧过程的影响。结果表明,使用白互熔剂为镁质熔剂时生球性能较优,碱度0.8时,两种配矿方案生球落下和抗压强度分别为4.1次/0.5 m和20.3 N/个、6.6次/0.5 m和22.3 N/个。各方案预热球强度、焙烧球强度随着镁质熔剂添加量增加呈先上升后下降的趋势,碱度0.6~0.8时,分别达到2 620 N/个、2 963 N/个。推荐白互和轻烧料作为镁质熔剂,碱度0.6~0.8时,可生产出满足工业要求的镁质碱性球团矿。

In order to identify the feasibility of preparing alkaline pellets with low-quality magnesium-containing flux, experiments on pelletizing, preheating and roasting were carried out. Three kinds of magnesium-containing flux from Wulongquan Mine of WISCO Resources Group Co., Ltd., including interbedded dolomite, light-burnt material and lightburnt dolomite, were taken for pelletizing, and then effects of different magnesia flux and the adding amount on pelleting, as well as following preheating and roasting processes of alkaline pellet were all explored. The results show that the green ball prepared with the flux of interbedded dolomite presents superior performance. It is found that with alkalinity of 0.8, the green ball prepared with two different blending schemes have drop number of 4.1 and 6.6 respectively from height of 0.5 m, and compressive strength of 20.3 N/pellet and 22.3 N/pellet respectively. By increasing the addition of magnesia flux in two blending schemes, both preheated balls and roasted balls have their strength decreased after an initial improvement. With alkalinity between 0.6 and 0.8, the prepared pellet can have compressive strength of 2 620 N/pellet and 2 963 N/pellet respectively after preheating and roasting process. It is recommended that with interbedded dolomite and light-burnt material as magnesia flux, the alkaline magnesium-containing pellet prepared with alkalinity of 0.6-0.8 can meet industrial requirements.

高炉冶炼中,为维持高炉炉渣碱度,无法大幅度提高酸性球团用量,必须配加一定量碱性烧结矿[1-3]。这种情况下,发展碱性球团矿势在必行。为提高炉渣流动性和脱硫效率,会在烧结矿中添加镁质熔剂以增加炉料中镁质量分数[4-6]。为了进一步提高高炉球团占比或实现全球团化高炉冶炼,众多科研工作者对镁质碱性球团进行了大量研究[7-10],但先前的研究和应用中多使用轻烧镁粉、纯氧化镁和菱镁矿等优质高镁熔剂矿[11-12]。除了这些优质含镁原料外,我国还有很多低质白云石等含镁熔剂矿难以利用[13]
本文以武钢资源集团乌龙泉矿生产的白互(低品位白云石及互层矿)、轻烧料和轻烧白云石3种低质含镁熔剂为研究对象,使用武钢资源集团鄂州球团有限公司外购精矿为造球原料,进行镁质碱性球团制备试验,通过造球、预热和焙烧试验,查明低质含镁熔剂对成球行为、预热和焙烧过程的影响,为使用低质含镁原料生产碱性球团提供理论支持和技术指导。
试验使用武钢资源集团鄂州球团有限公司5种外购铁精矿(分别为凹山精矿、巴西精矿、MUSA精矿、大冶铁精矿、金山店精矿),按照现场生产实际情况进行配矿,其中方案1为20%大冶铁精矿+20%金山店精矿+30%MUSA精矿+30%巴西精矿(赤铁矿∶磁铁矿=2∶3),方案2为20%大冶铁精矿+20%金山店精矿+10%凹山精矿+50%MUSA精矿(赤铁矿∶磁铁矿=1∶1)。两种配矿方案原料化学成分和粒级分布情况分别见表1表2
表1可以看出,两种配矿方案铁品位相当,都大于65%,满足球团生产要求。方案2因为外购的进口赤铁矿没有经过选矿脱硅处理,仅细磨后作为造球原料使用,硅质量分数较高。此外还可以看出,两种配矿方案配矿后原料中含有一定量CaO和MgO,自然碱度(三元)分别达到0.26和0.23,在生产碱性球团时可以减少镁质熔剂添加量。
表2结果可知,两种配矿方案原料粒度组成相似,其中方案1配矿后原料-0.074 mm粒级质量分数77.28%,方案2配矿后原料-0.074 mm粒级质量分数81.71%,基本满足造球要求。
两种原料都未经过高压辊磨处理,经测定,两种原料比表面积分别为1 212 cm2/g和1 261 cm2/g。
试验共使用了3种镁质熔剂,均来自宝武资源集团乌龙泉矿,分别为白互、轻烧料和轻烧白云石,其主要化学成分见表3
表3可知,试验所用镁质熔剂含镁量较低,特别是白互和轻烧白云石。此外,3种镁质熔剂SiO2质量分数均较低,适合作为碱性球团熔剂使用。
采用圆盘造球机进行造球试验。圆盘造球机直径1 000 mm、边高200 mm,转速22 r/min,倾角43°~49°可调。造球原料采用人工混料,每次将各铁精矿、黏结剂和镁质熔剂按试验条件要求混匀,质量为5 kg。造出的生球粒径8~16 mm为合格生球,进行强度检测和预热、焙烧试验。
球团预热和焙烧试验在卧式管状电炉中进行。电炉由一个炉膛直径50 mm的铁铬铝丝电阻炉和一个硅碳管电阻炉对接而成,前者用于预热试验,后者用于焙烧试验。直径8~16 mm生球首先在120 ℃烘箱中烘干,进行预热焙烧试验时选取12 mm左右的干球装入瓷舟中,按预先设定的条件进行预热和焙烧试验。
生球性能检测包括落下强度、抗压强度和爆裂温度,此外,还对预热球和焙烧球抗压强度进行了检测。落下强度检测方法为:将生球从高度0.5 m自由落下至10 mm厚的钢板上,若落下n次后发生破裂,即该球的落下强度为(n-1)次/0.5 m。每次测10个生球,取平均值作为生球的落下强度(单位为次/0.5 m)。抗压强度检测方法为:将生球置于钢性托盘中,托盘预先平放在电子天平上。在球团上部缓缓施加一个垂直向下的压力,直至生球发生破裂,此时天平所显示的压力值即为生球抗压强度。每次测10个生球,取平均值作为该批生球的抗压强度(单位为N/个)。爆裂温度检测方法为:每次取50个合格生球装入干燥杯中,然后将干燥杯放在风速1.5 m/s(冷态)的竖式管炉中,生球在炉膛内停留3 min后取出,以生球破裂4%所能承受的最高温度为爆裂温度。每个温度平行测定2次,取平均值作为生球爆裂温度。
以两种配矿方案配矿所得原料为造球原料,在不添加镁质熔剂情况下探究膨润土用量(相对生球的质量分数)和造球时间对生球性能的影响规律,查明两种配矿方案铁精矿的成球行为。
对上述两种配矿方案进行不同膨润土配比下的造球试验,造球时间8 min,膨润土用量对生球性能的影响见图1。由图1可以看出,两种配矿方案下,生球落下强度都随着膨润土用量增加而增长,方案1生球落下强度由2.5次/0.5 m增加至6.8次/0.5 m,方案2生球落下强度由3.7次/0.5 m增加至15.4次/0.5 m。另一方面,两种方案生球抗压强度都在20 N/个左右,增加膨润土用量对生球抗压强度影响不大。膨润土是一种高亲水性黏土矿物,随着膨润土用量增加,生球水分逐渐增加[14]。吸水后的膨润土呈胶体状态填充在铁精矿颗粒之间,提高了颗粒之间的黏结力,增强了生球塑性,从而增加了生球落下强度[15]。但过高的膨润土用量会增加球团硅质量分数、降低球团铁品位,尤其是在生产碱性球团时,会降低球团碱度,导致熔剂用量增加。综合考虑,确定后续试验膨润土用量为1.5%。
膨润土用量1.5%,造球时间对生球质量的影响如图2所示。由图2可知,随着造球时间延长,生球落下强度逐渐增大,方案1生球落下强度由2.8次/0.5 m增加至5.6次/0.5 m,方案2生球落下强度则由6.3次/0.5 m增加至9.1次/0.5 m。生球抗压强度也随着造球时间延长而增大,两个方案生球抗压强度分别从17.6 N/个和21.4 N/个增加至26.4 N/个和29.2 N/个。主要原因是随着造球时间延长,球团在圆盘内滚动的时间增加,颗粒与颗粒之间黏结得更紧密,生球落下强度和抗压强度提高。但造球时间过长时,生球内部过于紧密,导致水分不能顺畅排出,爆裂温度下降,且过长的造球时间会降低生产效率。后续试验控制造球时间为10 min。
两种配矿方案下,采用膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min的优化造球条件,探究白互用量(相对生球的质量分数)对生球性能的影响,结果见图3。由图3可知,加入白互熔剂后,方案1生球落下强度和抗压强度分别为4.5次/0.5 m和20 N/个,与自然碱度下的生球指标差别不大。主要原因是方案1原料粒度较粗,成球性能一般,加入白互熔剂后,对球团内部颗粒薄膜水层改变不大。方案2原料粒级较细,成球性能较优,加入白互熔剂后,较粗的熔剂颗粒一定程度上破坏了铁精矿颗粒表面的薄膜水化层,导致方案2生球落下强度低于自然碱度生球;三元碱度0.6~1.2范围内,方案2碱性生球落下强度变化不大,约7.0次/0.5 m。各碱度下方案2生球抗压强度约23 N/个,与自然碱度下区别不大。两种方案下的生球爆裂温度都随着白互用量增加而下降,但均大于450 ℃。
两种配矿方案下,采用膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min的优化造球条件,探究轻烧料用量(相对生球的质量分数)对生球性能的影响,结果见图4。由图4可以看出,加入轻烧料后,两种配矿方案碱性生球落下强度与自然碱度生球区别不大。主要是因为,轻烧料经过高温焙烧分解,其质地疏松,内部空隙较多,在造球过程中可以帮助生球保持水分、提升生球落下强度。加入轻烧料后,生球内部水分增多,施加外部压力时,易造成生球内部颗粒间的相对滑动,降低生球抗压强度。由于碱性生球内部水分多于自然碱度生球,两种方案碱性生球的爆裂温度都随着轻烧料熔剂用量增加而下降,但均大于450 ℃。
两种配矿方案下,采用膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min的优化造球条件,探究不同轻烧白云石用量(相对生球的质量分数)对生球性能的影响,结果见图5图5结果表明,加入轻烧白云石熔剂后,两种方案生球落下强度均有所下降,特别是方案2,生球落下强度由自然碱度的8.0次/0.5 m降至3.9次/0.5 m。两种方案生球抗压强度随着轻烧白云石用量的变化规律类似,均为先降低后增加,三元碱度1.0时达到最大值,分别为22.2 N/个和24.5 N/个。添加轻烧白云石对生球爆裂温度影响不大,各碱度条件下的生球爆裂温度均在450 ℃以上,满足工业生产要求。
综合分析熔剂种类和用量对生球性能的影响规律发现,使用白互和轻烧料对两种方案生球性能影响较小。在三元碱度0.6~1.2范围内,随着镁质熔剂用量增加,生球性能总体呈下降趋势。在保证成品球碱度和生球性能的前提下,推荐使用白互和轻烧料为熔剂,三元碱度控制在0.8左右。
为了查明两种配矿方案球团在不同三元碱度下的预热和焙烧性能,采用膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min的优化造球条件,固定预热温度950 ℃、预热时间10 min、焙烧温度1 250 ℃、焙烧时间20 min,研究了白互用量对预热、焙烧球团抗压强度的影响,结果见表4。随着白互用量增加,各方案预热、焙烧球抗压强度呈下降趋势,在碱度0.6和0.8左右时,各方案下白互球团的焙烧球强度略优于自然碱度球团。随着白互用量增加,焙烧球铁品位呈下降趋势,碱度1.0左右时,各方案焙烧球铁品位仍可保持在60%左右,满足高炉生产需求。碱度0.6左右时各方案碱性球团抗压强度分别为2 609 N/个和3 215 N/个,可满足工业生产要求。
采用膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min的优化造球条件,固定预热温度950 ℃、预热时间10 min、焙烧温度1 250 ℃、焙烧时间20 min,研究了不同轻烧料用量下的预热、焙烧球抗压强度,结果见表5。由表5可知,两种方案预热球抗压强度均随着轻烧料用量增加而下降,焙烧球抗压强度呈先增加后降低的趋势。碱度0.8左右时,焙烧球抗压强度达到最高值,两种方案焙烧球抗压强度分别为2 620 N/个和2 963 N/个,可满足工业生产要求。碱度提高时,两种方案焙烧球铁品位均降低,碱度0.6~0.8时焙烧球铁品位可保持在60%以上。
采用膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min的优化造球条件,固定预热温度950 ℃、预热时间10 min、焙烧温度1 250 ℃、焙烧时间20 min,研究了不同轻烧白云石用量下预热球、焙烧球的抗压强度,结果见表6表6结果显示,使用轻烧白云石作为熔剂时,预热、焙烧球团抗压强度都随着轻烧白云石用量增加而降低。碱度0.6左右时预热、焙烧球抗压强度与自然碱度球团强度相当;球团碱度提高,其抗压强度低于自然碱度球团。碱度0.6左右时,两种方案焙烧球抗压强度分别为2 785 N/个和3 021 N/个,可满足工业生产要求。两种方案焙烧球铁品位也随着轻烧白云石用量增加而下降,碱度0.6~0.8时焙烧球铁品位大于60%。
综合分析,相同碱度下,3种镁质熔剂预热、焙烧球抗压强度区别不大。但随着熔剂用量增加,预热、焙烧球抗压强度呈先增后降的趋势。推荐使用轻烧料为镁质熔剂,碱性球团三元碱度范围为0.6~0.8,此区间内焙烧球铁品位可保持在60%以上。
1)自然碱度下,推荐采用配矿方案2(20%大冶铁精矿+20%金山店精矿+10%凹山精矿+50%MUSA精矿(赤铁矿∶∶磁铁矿=1∶1))。膨润土用量1.5%、造球时间10 min时,该方案生球落下强度为8.0次/0.5 m,抗压强度21.6 N/个,爆裂温度526 ℃,生球质量较优。
2)加入一定量镁质熔剂后,两种方案生球性能都有所下降。整体来看,使用白互和轻烧料熔剂时,两种方案的生球性能均较优。添加白互为镁质熔剂,配矿方案1生球在碱度0.8时落下强度和抗压强度分别为4.1次/0.5 m和20.3 N/个,爆裂温度为477 ℃;配矿方案2生球在碱度0.8时落下强度和抗压强度分别为6.6次/0.5 m和22.3 N/个,爆裂温度为492 ℃。在保证成品球碱度和生球性能前提下,推荐使用白互和轻烧料为熔剂,三元碱度控制在0.8左右。
3)使用白互和轻烧料为熔剂时,两种配矿方案的预热、焙烧球抗压强度均随着镁质熔剂用量增加呈先上升后下降的趋势,且两种方案预热、焙烧球抗压强度相差不大。轻烧料钙、镁质量分数较高,推荐使用轻烧料为镁质熔剂,三元碱度控制在0.6~0.8范围内。两种配矿方案在碱度0.8时以轻烧料为镁质熔剂,碱性球团抗压强度分别为2 620 N/个和2 963 N/个,此时焙烧球全铁品位分别为61.49%和60.38%,可满足工业生产要求。
