In Meishan Iron Mine, the iron concentrate produced on the site has SiO2 grade more than 6.0%. Aiming at this problem, an experimental study was carried out based on the microscopic identification of different concentrate products by using a new process flow, in which the magnetic field intensity of low-intensity magnetic separation (LIMS) was reduced for roughing, and a process of regrinding and re-separation was added for the scavenging concentrate by high-intensity magnetic separation (HIMS). The effects of those technical transformation on the TFe grade of iron concentrate and the content of impurity SiO2 therein were explored. The results show that after such technical transformation, the LIMS can produce a concentrate grading 63.57% TFe and 3.37% SiO2 with corresponding recoveries of 72.79% and 12.94%, with a yield of 52.21%; while the HIMS can produce a concentrate grading 44.79% TFe and 9.07% SiO2 with corresponding recoveries of 17.20% and 11.67%, with a yield of 17.51%. This new flowchart can produce the concentrate grading 58.85% TFe and 4.80% SiO2 at corresponding recoveries of 89.98% and 24.61%, with a total yield of 69.72%. It is shown the SiO2 content in the total concentrate of Meishan Mine can be greatly reduced.

针对梅山铁矿生产现场铁精矿中SiO2品位超过6.0%的问题,结合不同精矿产品的镜下检测结果,开展降低弱磁选粗选磁场强度和新增强磁选扫选精矿再磨再选的流程试验研究,探究其对铁精矿TFe品位和杂质SiO2含量的影响。结果表明,流程改造后,弱磁选总精矿产率为52.21%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为63.57%和3.37%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为72.79%和12.94%;强磁选总精矿产率为17.51%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为44.79%和9.07%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为17.20%和11.67%;总精矿产率为69.72%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为58.85%和4.80%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为89.98%和24.61%。新流程有效降低了梅山铁矿总铁精矿中SiO2品位。

In Meishan Iron Mine, the iron concentrate produced on the site has SiO2 grade more than 6.0%. Aiming at this problem, an experimental study was carried out based on the microscopic identification of different concentrate products by using a new process flow, in which the magnetic field intensity of low-intensity magnetic separation (LIMS) was reduced for roughing, and a process of regrinding and re-separation was added for the scavenging concentrate by high-intensity magnetic separation (HIMS). The effects of those technical transformation on the TFe grade of iron concentrate and the content of impurity SiO2 therein were explored. The results show that after such technical transformation, the LIMS can produce a concentrate grading 63.57% TFe and 3.37% SiO2 with corresponding recoveries of 72.79% and 12.94%, with a yield of 52.21%; while the HIMS can produce a concentrate grading 44.79% TFe and 9.07% SiO2 with corresponding recoveries of 17.20% and 11.67%, with a yield of 17.51%. This new flowchart can produce the concentrate grading 58.85% TFe and 4.80% SiO2 at corresponding recoveries of 89.98% and 24.61%, with a total yield of 69.72%. It is shown the SiO2 content in the total concentrate of Meishan Mine can be greatly reduced.

梅山铁矿选矿厂提铁降杂现采用磨矿(阶磨阶选,两段闭路磨矿,磨矿细度-0.075 mm粒级占65%左右)-浮硫-弱磁选(一粗一扫)-强磁选(一粗一扫)工艺流程,将弱磁选粗选、弱磁选扫选、强磁选粗选、强磁选扫选4种精矿合并为选矿厂最终铁精矿[1-2]。随着矿石开采向井下深部推进,矿石中铁矿物的嵌布粒度变细、磁铁矿含量(质量分数,下同)降低、杂质SiO2含量升高,导致铁精矿中SiO2含量长期超过6.0%。SiO2含量偏高会使炉渣变稠,对高炉冶炼不利,需加入大量石灰,进而增加渣量和焦炭消耗量[3-6]。本文通过调整弱磁选粗选、扫选工艺参数,优化设备技术参数,进行强磁选扫选精矿再磨再选等方法,提高铁精矿TFe品位和降低杂质SiO2含量,以期为梅山铁矿提铁降硅提供依据。
对现场弱磁选总精矿、强磁选粗选精矿和强磁选扫选精矿产品进行了铁的化学物相分析,结果如表1所示。由表1可知:弱磁选总精矿中铁以磁铁矿为主,同时有较多的假象赤铁矿和赤铁矿,其他形式分布的铁很少;强磁选粗选精矿中铁主要为赤铁矿,同时回收了部分菱铁矿(碳酸铁)和比磁化系数高的含铁硅酸盐矿物,磁铁矿中铁分布很少,说明大部分磁铁矿已在弱磁选中得到了回收;强磁选扫选精矿中铁以赤铁矿为主,还有很多铁分布在碳酸盐中,说明菱铁矿的比磁化系数较低且低于部分含铁硅酸盐的比磁化系数,有较多菱铁矿是在扫选作业中进入了精矿。
弱磁选总精矿粒度总体在0.25 mm以下,铁矿物含量在90%左右,其中以磁铁矿为主,含量约57%,其余为赤铁矿和假象赤铁矿及很少量的菱铁矿。磁铁矿呈粒状、不规则粒状,大部分呈单体或富连生体产出,部分与赤铁矿连生形成混合铁矿物颗粒进入弱磁选总精矿。细粒磁铁矿常有磁团聚现象,絮团中夹杂少量微粒脉石。赤铁矿、假象赤铁矿常与磁铁矿连生,部分呈单颗粒或连生体。铁矿物中单体及富连生体总量占92%左右,少量呈贫连生体状态存在。脉石矿物主要为方解石、白云石,其次是石英及硅酸盐矿物,总量约10%。大部分脉石与铁矿物不同程度地连生,单体脉石多以微细粒状夹杂进入弱磁选总精矿,通过进一步细磨精选提高铁品位的潜力不大,但弱磁选低浓度入选可减少磁团聚夹杂的微粒脉石,实现提铁降硅。
强磁选粗选精矿粒度比弱磁选总精矿粒度略粗,有少量0.3 mm颗粒,铁矿物含量在75%左右,其中以赤铁矿为主,含量约58%,其余为菱铁矿及磁铁矿、褐铁矿。赤铁矿形态变化较大,多为不规则粒状,部分呈微细的树枝状、裂隙充填状、弥散状。赤铁矿中单体及富连生体总量约85%,大部分形态较好的粒状赤铁矿呈单体或富连生体产出,形态较复杂的细小赤铁矿常与脉石呈紧密嵌布的连生体。脉石矿物含量约25%,主要为方解石、白云石,其次是石英及硅酸盐矿物等。大部分脉石与铁矿物呈不同程度的连生,约有1/3的脉石呈单体状态。呈连生状态的脉石常与赤铁矿有较复杂的嵌连关系,即使细磨也难以充分解离,脉石矿物含量偏高,脉石中铁白云石及含铁硅酸盐与赤铁矿磁性相当,强磁选难以分离。
强磁选扫选精矿粒度比强磁选粗选精矿粒度粗,有较多0.3 mm以上的颗粒,铁矿物含量仅60%左右,其中以赤铁矿为主,含量约35%,其余为菱铁矿(含量约20%)和少量磁铁矿。赤铁矿多为不规则粒状,部分为裂隙充填状、微细粒弥散状。赤铁矿中单体及富连生体总量约60%,有40%的铁矿物不同程度地与脉石及菱铁矿连生,且连生关系较为复杂。磁铁矿大多与赤铁矿和脉石连生,很少有单体。菱铁矿多以集合体出现,其中常夹杂脉石。脉石矿物含量约40%,主要为方解石、白云石,其次为石英及硅酸盐矿物。半数以上的脉石与铁矿物呈不同程度的连生,常与赤铁矿及菱铁矿有较复杂的嵌连关系;少部分脉石呈单体状态,其中多有0.05 mm以下的微细粒。该扫选精矿中铁矿物主要为赤铁矿和菱铁矿,脉石矿物多,加之菱铁矿含铁较低,使得扫选精矿品位较低,需要进一步去除脉石矿物。部分赤铁矿、菱铁矿粒度细小,与脉石紧密嵌布,分离难度较大,需要磨矿解离。
由铁精矿产品化学分析以及弱磁选精矿镜下检测结果可知,通过降低弱磁选分选浓度和改变弱磁选磁场梯度可以有效降低磁性夹杂,提高弱磁选精矿TFe品位并降低杂质SiO2含量。2023年4月,梅山铁矿对弱磁选粗选磁选机进行改造,磁场强度由原来的159.15 kA/m调整为95.49 kA/m,弱磁选扫选磁场强度保持不变(238.73 kA/m)。2023年4月10日,对弱磁选系统改造前后各作业进行局部流程考查。
弱磁选系统流程如图1所示。
对弱磁选系统改造前后各产品指标进行了对比,结果见表2。改造前弱磁选总精矿产率为49.07%,TFe品位61.96%、回收率68.00%,杂质SiO2含量4.44%、回收率15.86%。改造后弱磁选总精矿产率为45.62%,TFe品位63.57%、回收率64.86%,杂质SiO2含量3.34%、回收率10.80%。
对改造前后弱磁选粗选精矿进行了筛分粒度分析,结果见表3。改造前后,影响弱磁选粗选精矿TFe品位和杂质SiO2含量的均为+0.15 mm粒级产品。改造前,该粒级TFe品位仅49.20%,SiO2品位13.90%、分布率达42.96%。改造后,该粒级TFe品位仅45.81%,SiO2品位17.38%、分布率27.57%。
对流程改造前后弱磁选粗选精矿、粗选尾矿、扫选精矿、扫选尾矿各元素品位进行对比,结果见表4。由表4可知,改造后,弱磁选粗选精矿TFe品位提高1.55百分点,杂质SiO2含量降低1.03百分点,杂质S、P含量均有不同程度降低;弱磁选扫选精矿TFe品位提高7.91百分点,杂质SiO2含量降低4.78百分点,杂质S、P均有不同程度降低。改造前后弱磁选扫选尾矿中mFe品位没有明显变化。
流程改造后,弱磁选总精矿TFe品位提高1.61百分点,杂质SiO2含量降低1.10百分点,说明流程改造后,有效降低了弱磁选的磁性夹杂;流程改造后弱磁选总精矿产率降低3.45百分点,TFe回收率降低3.14百分点,杂质SiO2回收率降低5.06百分点;结合流程改造前后弱磁选扫选尾矿mFe没有明显变化,表明流程改造后弱磁选总精矿产率和回收率下降均为磁性夹杂所致。
为探索降低总精矿中SiO2含量的可能性,在弱磁选改造后,对SiO2含量高的强磁选扫选精矿进行单独再磨再选,在提高铁精矿TFe品位的同时降低精矿中SiO2的含量,试验流程见图2,结果见表5。弱磁选总精矿产率为52.21%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为63.57%和3.37%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为72.79%和12.94%;强磁选总精矿产率为17.51%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为44.79%和9.07%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为17.20%和11.67%;总精矿产率为69.72%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为58.85%和4.80%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为89.98%和24.61%;总尾矿产率为30.28%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为15.08%和33.88%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为10.02%和75.39%;尾矿中+0.25 mm粒级粗砂产率为10.31%。
根据梅山铁矿现场现有设备和试验研究结果,弱磁选粗选磁选机磁场强度降到95.49 kA/m,并对强磁选扫选精矿单独再磨再选,可达到满意降硅的效果。推荐的工艺流程如图2所示。
1)适度降低弱磁选粗选磁场强度和入选浓度可有效降低磁性夹杂,进而降低铁精矿的硅含量。对比试验结果表明,弱磁选粗选精矿TFe品位提高1.55百分点,杂质SiO2含量降低1.03百分点;弱磁选扫选精矿TFe品位提高7.91百分点,杂质SiO2含量降低4.78百分点,杂质S、P含量均有不同程度降低。
2)流程改造后,弱磁选总精矿TFe品位提高1.61百分点,杂质SiO2含量降低1.10百分点,弱磁选总精矿产率降低3.45百分点,TFe回收率降低3.14百分点;弱磁选尾矿mFe品位没有明显变化,表明改造后弱磁选总精矿产率和回收率下降均为磁性夹杂所致。
3)降低弱磁选粗选磁场强度并对强磁选扫选精矿进行再磨再选,取得了较好的选别指标:弱磁选总精矿产率为52.21%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为63.57%和3.37%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为72.79%和12.94%;强磁选总精矿产率为17.51%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为44.79%和9.07%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为17.20%和11.67%;总精矿产率为69.72%,TFe和SiO2品位分别为58.85%和4.80%,TFe和SiO2回收率分别为89.98%和24.61%。
