Based on the mining environment and stress characteristics of backfill in the upward horizontal slicing and filling method, the influence of wetting-drying (WD) cycles on the mechanical properties of cemented tailings backfill (CTB) was explored. An ultrasonic test and a mechanical property test were conducted for CTB samples with different cement-tailings (c/t) ratios after different WD cycles to investigate variation in the velocity of longitudinal waves, compressive strength, and failure mode. The results show that after WD cycles, the CTB samples with c/t ratios of 1∶4, 1∶6 and 1∶8 all had a decreased ultrasonic wave velocity, and as the number of WD cycle increases, CTB samples with different c/t ratios had enhanced plastic deformation capacity but decreased strength. It is shown that WD cycle has a small impact on backfill with a higher c/t ratio. And the CTB without WD cycle mainly experiences tension-shear failure, while CTB after WD cycles has multiple axially parallel cracks penetrating vertically, which significantly increase after more WD cycles. It is found that the c/t ratio is a key factor for CTB to resist deterioration caused by WD cycles. In mining operation, the c/t ratio for different filling areas can be reasonably optimized to reduce filling costs.

以上向水平分层充填采矿法中充填体的开采环境和受力特征为背景,探明了干湿循环作用对尾砂胶结充填体力学性能的影响。以灰砂比和干湿循环次数为变量,对不同灰砂比和干湿循环作用后的充填体开展超声波测试和力学性能测试,研究其纵波波速、抗压强度以及破裂模式的变化。结果表明:经过干湿循环后,灰砂比1∶4、1∶6、1∶8的充填体超声波波速均降低;随着干湿循环作用次数增加,不同灰砂比的充填体塑性变形能力增强,强度均呈下降趋势,干湿循环作用对灰砂比大的充填体影响较小;未经干湿循环作用的充填体破裂模式以张拉剪切复合破坏为主,经干湿循环作用的充填体形成上下贯通的多条轴向平行主裂纹,且随着干湿循环次数增加,充填体轴向裂纹明显增多;灰砂比是充填体抵抗干湿循环劣化的关键因素,在矿山生产中可以合理优化不同充填区域的灰砂比,来降低充填成本。

以上向水平分层充填采矿法中充填体的开采环境和受力特征为背景,探明了干湿循环作用对尾砂胶结充填体力学性能的影响。以灰砂比和干湿循环次数为变量,对不同灰砂比和干湿循环作用后的充填体开展超声波测试和力学性能测试,研究其纵波波速、抗压强度以及破裂模式的变化。结果表明:经过干湿循环后,灰砂比1∶4、1∶6、1∶8的充填体超声波波速均降低;随着干湿循环作用次数增加,不同灰砂比的充填体塑性变形能力增强,强度均呈下降趋势,干湿循环作用对灰砂比大的充填体影响较小;未经干湿循环作用的充填体破裂模式以张拉剪切复合破坏为主,经干湿循环作用的充填体形成上下贯通的多条轴向平行主裂纹,且随着干湿循环次数增加,充填体轴向裂纹明显增多;灰砂比是充填体抵抗干湿循环劣化的关键因素,在矿山生产中可以合理优化不同充填区域的灰砂比,来降低充填成本。

Based on the mining environment and stress characteristics of backfill in the upward horizontal slicing and filling method, the influence of wetting-drying (WD) cycles on the mechanical properties of cemented tailings backfill (CTB) was explored. An ultrasonic test and a mechanical property test were conducted for CTB samples with different cement-tailings (c/t) ratios after different WD cycles to investigate variation in the velocity of longitudinal waves, compressive strength, and failure mode. The results show that after WD cycles, the CTB samples with c/t ratios of 1∶4, 1∶6 and 1∶8 all had a decreased ultrasonic wave velocity, and as the number of WD cycle increases, CTB samples with different c/t ratios had enhanced plastic deformation capacity but decreased strength. It is shown that WD cycle has a small impact on backfill with a higher c/t ratio. And the CTB without WD cycle mainly experiences tension-shear failure, while CTB after WD cycles has multiple axially parallel cracks penetrating vertically, which significantly increase after more WD cycles. It is found that the c/t ratio is a key factor for CTB to resist deterioration caused by WD cycles. In mining operation, the c/t ratio for different filling areas can be reasonably optimized to reduce filling costs.

当前,绿色矿山已成为矿业发展的核心方向,充填采矿法是建设绿色矿山有效的开采方法,是未来我国矿产资源开采的主要采矿方法[1-2]。在上向水平分层充填采矿法中,回采分层以下的充填体既承受采场涌水与充填料浆中水的浸泡作用,又受深部矿体岩热作用流失水分;随着各分层依次充填,充填体经历水的浸泡、水的流失多个循环过程,是典型的干湿循环作用;干湿循环作用对充填体中胶凝材料的胶结能力具有重要影响,进而影响其后期承载性能。
目前学者们从多角度研究了干湿循环对充填体性能的影响,开展了包括水泥基材料[3]、橡胶尾砂复合材料[4]、风积沙混凝土[5]等研究。结果表明,随着干湿循环次数增加,充填体普遍出现抗压强度降低、渗透性增强等宏观力学性能衰减现象[6];同时,从微观角度揭示了水化产物破坏、盐结晶压力、孔结构演变[7]等机制。部分学者基于干湿循环作用探讨了相应的损伤模型与寿命预测方法[8]
本文针对上向水平分层充填采矿法中充填体的受力特征与环境条件,采用超声波测试与力学试验相结合的方法,分析了干湿循环过程中充填体波速、变形特征、抗压强度及其破裂模式的变化规律,研究了干湿循环作用对充填体力学性能及破坏特征的影响,为充填采矿法的安全回采提供理论参考。
试验所用的金尾砂由选矿厂采用浮选工艺分离获取,试验过程及后续处置不会对环境造成污染,其化学成分如表1所示,尾砂主要由SiO2和Al2O3组成,其他杂质含量较少。尾砂粒径分布如图1所示,曲率系数为0.856,不均匀系数为8.727,级配较好。
胶凝材料采用标号为P·S 32.5的硅酸盐水泥,结合矿山实际生产中的强度需求,按照灰砂比1∶4、1∶6、1∶8,料浆浓度(质量分数)68%的配比制备试件,水为厂房自来水。将试验材料按照设计的比例混合搅拌,料浆制备过程中不添加任何外加剂。制备的充填体为Φ50 mm×100 mm的圆柱体,为更好地对试件进行脱模,浇注前在模具内部刷一层油性脱模剂。料浆浇入模具后用玻璃棒缓慢搅拌料浆,排出气泡防止试件凝固后内部有小孔洞。试件初凝后,对其进行刮顶操作,保证试件表面平整无缺陷。24 h后将凝固的试件从模具里面脱离出来,放入恒温、恒湿的标准养护箱(温度20 ℃±1 ℃,湿度不低于95%)中养护28 d。
制备不同灰砂比和干湿循环次数的试件,考虑在干湿循环作用过程中养护龄期对充填体试样的影响,在实验组试件干湿循环处理的同时,设计对照组试件置于养护箱进行养护,即每一组干湿循环的试件都有一组同时养护的试件作为对照组,共制备了24组试件,每组3块,共计72块试件。干湿循环次数与充填体渗透系数紧密相关,结合上向水平分层充填采矿法的充填工艺技术,综合考虑水通过充填体向下的渗透能力,试验设计干湿循环次数为1、3、5、7次,烘干温度与井下环境温度相似。干湿循环操作如下:试件放入烘干箱中40 ℃干燥16 h,再放入水中自然浸泡8 h,此过程为1次干湿循环。达到试验设计的28 d养护龄期后,12组试件分别进行了1、3、5、7次干湿循环,另外12组试件分别再进行1、3、5、7 d相同时间的养护。试件达到28 d养护龄期时,对所有试件进行1次质量和波速的测量,随后进行不同次数的干湿循环。每一次干湿循环的过程中,干燥完成后和充分浸水后都对试件进行质量和波速测量,采用WHY-600型微机控制电液伺服压力机对完成1、3、5、7次干湿循环的试件进行无侧限抗压试验,试验前对试件施加预加载,目标力值为0.1 kN,以保证试件各部分接触良好,进入正常工作状态,并使荷载与变形关系趋于稳定,同时检查试验装置与测试仪器仪表的可靠性及工作状态是否正常。正式加载速率为2 mm/min,利用计算机记录应力-应变曲线。试验设备及流程如图2所示。
干湿循环作用下不同灰砂比充填体的波速变化规律如图3所示。由图3可知,干湿循环作用对充填体波速产生弱化作用。随着干湿循环次数增加,充填体波速呈先快速降低后缓慢变化的趋势,且灰砂比越小,弱化作用越显著。灰砂比1∶4的充填体初始波速最高,随着干湿循环次数增加,波速下降相对平缓;灰砂比1∶2.6的充填体初始波速和下降幅值均介于灰砂比1∶4和1∶8之间;灰砂比1∶8的充填体初始波速最低,且波速下降幅度最大。通过对比实验组与对照组的波速差值可知,同一灰砂比的波速差值随着灰砂比降低而逐渐增大,表明干湿循环作用对低灰砂比充填体的影响更显著。
充填体波速减小,表明充填体经过干湿循环之后内部孔隙变化而形成缺陷。充填体在水中浸泡吸水导致体积膨胀,当环境变干时充填体失水导致体积收缩,这种反复的吸水和失水过程导致充填体内部产生应力,使充填体内部孔隙增多且部分孔隙连通形成裂隙,之后水沿原有裂隙与新连通的裂隙对充填体进一步产生侵蚀作用。在首次干湿循环时,实验组充填体波速显著降低,之后随着干湿循环次数的增加,其波速变化趋于平缓。这是由于在首次干湿循环中,充填体内部的胶结相因水膨胀、应力释放等作用产生的孔隙增多、裂隙发育等损伤是不可逆的,声波在孔隙界面处发生多次反射、散射,能量衰减显著加剧,最终表现为波速的骤降;进入后续干湿循环后,水分沿既有通道扩散,由于超声波的传播路径未发生根本性变化,其传播特性受水分分布微调的影响较弱,因此波速仅呈现微小波动,变化较为平缓。灰砂比1∶4的充填体波速下降较少,是因为水泥与水反应生成的硅酸钙凝胶较多,其将尾砂颗粒进行包裹粘接,还可以填充水泥与尾砂颗粒之间的孔隙,增强充填体结构的紧密性,内部孔隙减少,使水难以浸入充填体内部,导致干湿循环对充填体的损伤效果减弱。灰砂比1∶6、1∶8的充填体与灰砂比1∶4的充填体相比,因胶凝材料减少而导致结构较为松散,干湿循环作用下水更容易进入和流出充填体的孔隙,进而引起孔隙的连通而形成缺陷,波速损失较为显著。
干湿循环作用下不同灰砂比充填体的变形特征如图4所示,C0、C1、C3、C5、C7组号对应干湿循环0、1、3、5、7次的实验组。由图4可知,3种灰砂比的充填体在干湿循环作用下的应力应变曲线表现相同的变化趋势。随着干湿循环次数增加,单轴压缩下充填体应力应变曲线的压密阶段变长,峰值应力均出现下降,循环次数越多,降幅越大;线弹性阶段起始位置右移,且长度变短,斜率减小;灰砂比1∶4和1∶6的充填体峰后残余强度随着循环次数增加逐渐增大;而灰砂比1∶8的充填体峰后残余强度随着循环次数增加而逐渐降低。干湿循环次数的增加弱化了充填体的弹性变形能力,增强了其塑性变形能力,且灰砂比越小,干湿循环次数对其变形能力的影响越显著。
图5为干湿循环作用下充填体峰值应变的变化规律。结合图4图5可知,不同灰砂比充填体对干湿循环作用的显著性表现不一致,灰砂比1∶4的充填体在干湿循环作用初期,其变形特征变化较小,在干湿循环作用后期,其变形特征变化较大;灰砂比1∶6的充填体在干湿循环作用下其变形特征变化较为稳定,随着循环次数增加,显著性逐渐增强;灰砂比1∶8的充填体在干湿循环作用初期,其变形特征变化较大,在干湿循环作用后期,其变形特征变化较为稳定,干湿循环次数对其变形特征的影响作用减弱。
干湿循环作用对充填体抗压强度的影响如图6所示。对比分析实验组和对照组试样的强度可知,干湿循环作用对不同灰砂比充填体强度均产生弱化作用,循环次数越多,弱化作用越显著,灰砂比越小,弱化作用越显著。根据各灰砂比充填体的强度降幅可知,随着干湿循环次数增加,灰砂比1∶4的充填体强度降低较为缓慢,且干湿循环次数达到5次及以上时强度损失逐渐显著;灰砂比1∶6和1∶8的充填体强度降低较快,灰砂比1∶6的充填体干湿循环次数达到5次及以上时强度损失显著性逐渐增强,灰砂比1∶8的充填体干湿循环次数达到3次及以上时强度损失显著性逐渐增强。
灰砂比与干湿循环次数交互作用下的充填体强度损失率如图7所示。1次干湿循环时,灰砂比1∶4、1∶6和1∶8下充填体强度损失率分别为0.22%、1.76%、1.98%,明显小于7次干湿循环时的充填体强度损失率。灰砂比1∶4充填体经历1次干湿循环时的抗压强度损失率最小,为0.22%;灰砂比1∶8充填体经历7次干湿循环时的强度损失率最大,达到27.01%。
干湿循环过程中充填体主要受到两方面因素的影响。一方面在干燥过程中水分从孔隙中向外逸出,导致充填体孔隙扩大产生缺陷;另一方面在浸水过程中水分进入充填体内部孔隙,造成充填体膨胀。随着干湿循环的不断进行,充填体受到的损伤不断积累,导致充填体损伤持续扩大。
干湿循环次数对充填体弹性模量的影响规律如图8所示。随着干湿循环次数增加,不同灰砂比下充填体的弹性模量均减小。不同干湿循环次数下,灰砂比1∶4充填体弹性模量降幅为4.1%~14.87%;灰砂比1∶6充填体弹性模量降幅为15.79%~37.54%;灰砂比1∶8充填体弹性模量降幅为17.79%~36.81%。
相同干湿循环次数下,随着灰砂比的减小,充填体弹性模量显著降低。充填体在干湿循环7次后弹性模量达到最低值,与抗压强度变化规律一致。反复的干湿循环相当于对充填体施加了一种疲劳荷载,使充填体内部逐渐积累损伤,随着损伤程度增加,弹性模量降低。弹性模量降低表明干湿循环作用降低了充填体抵抗弹性变形的能力。
为更好地研究干湿循环作用对充填体的影响,对是否经过干湿循环的充填体破裂模式进行对比分析。不同破裂模式主要与充填体内部孔隙大小、结构以及细小裂纹的连通发育状态有关;此外,还与水泥和水发生水化反应后产生的水化硅酸钙以及尾砂颗粒之间相互连接形成的结构致密性有密切关系。考虑到篇幅原因,表2仅列出了具有代表性的、不同干湿循环次数下充填体试件的破裂模式。
表2可以看出,不同灰砂比的充填体试件具有类似的破裂形式,未经干湿循环的充填体试件发生脆性破坏,以张拉剪切破坏为主,破裂面较少,剪切破裂面始于试件上部端面、终于试件靠近上部的侧面;同时还有破裂面呈“Y”形的2个互相连接的剪切面共同贯穿试件的破坏形式,只发生剪切破坏的试件较少。经过干湿循环的充填体试件发生张拉劈裂破坏,与未经干湿循环的对照组相比裂纹明显增多,沿轴向存在较多劈裂面,侧面出现片状折断现象,并且充填体上部出现较多细小碎块。试件裂纹萌生具有随机性,但多发生于孔隙密集区域,随着干湿循环次数增加,试件表面起裂时间呈现延长趋势。裂纹扩展中期,微裂纹沿最大主应力方向扩展,形成明显可见主裂纹,且主裂纹与轴向基本平行。裂纹贯通后期,主裂纹长度达到试件尺寸长度,试件上下两个端面轴向贯通形成宏观破裂面。干湿循环1、3次时,裂纹扩展路径互不相交;循环5、7次时,试件中上部多条裂纹相互靠近并拢相连成单条裂纹,致使试件下部裂纹数量减少。随着干湿循环次数增加,试件破坏时的轴向裂纹增多,裂纹间距变小。由此可知,干湿循环作用会改变充填体的破裂形式,使其从剪切破坏转变为张拉破坏,由于试件抗剪形式的破坏强度大于抗拉形式的破坏强度,充填体试件强度降低。
综上分析可知,灰砂比1∶4的充填体受干湿循环作用影响小,因此在矿山实际充填工程中,可以采用不同灰砂比充填体的间隔式充填方法,即主要采用灰砂比1∶6或1∶8的充填料浆对采空区进行填充,但在充填过程中每隔一定层数或厚度的充填体,充填一层1∶4灰砂比的充填体层,形成间隔分布的夹层式充填结构。其目的为降低水向下层充填体的浸湿作用,减小干湿循环作用对灰砂比1∶6或1∶8充填体的影响。
1)充填体经过干湿循环作用后,随着灰砂比减小,波速下降变化率明显增大;干湿循环作用会使充填体内部孔隙结构发生改变,使其孔隙变大形成缺陷,孔隙之间相互连接贯通形成裂隙,导致充填体波速下降。
2)随着干湿循环次数增加,不同灰砂比的充填体试件压密阶段曲线均延长,充填体的塑性变形能力增强,单轴抗压强度及弹性模量均减小。灰砂比1∶4的充填体抗压强度降低较慢,而灰砂比1∶6和1∶8的充填体抗压强度随着干湿循环次数增加显著降低。
3)经干湿循环作用的充填体破裂模式主要为张拉劈裂破坏,未经干湿循环的充填体试件以张拉剪切复合破坏为主,同时还有破裂面呈“Y”形的2个互相连接的剪切面共同贯穿试件的破坏形式。干湿循环作用会使其破裂形式由剪切破坏向张拉破坏转换,导致充填体抗变形能力降低。
4)灰砂比是充填体抵抗干湿循环劣化的关键因素,因此在矿山生产中可以合理优化不同充填区域的灰砂比,来降低充填成本,提高矿山经济效益。
