An experimental study was performed on efficient separation of talc and molybdenite by adopting flash flotation. With grain fineness of 0.043-0.074 mm, 20 g/t of frother MIBC, and flotation time of 60 seconds, the talc recovery attains 76.64%, while the recovery of molybdenite is only 19.72%, resulting in an efficient separation between talc and molybdenite. According to the nonlinear fitting of flotation kinetic equation by MATLAB, talc flotation process conforms to the classic first-order flotation kinetic model, while molybdenite flotation conforms to the modified classic first-order flotation kinetic model. The following test on the influence of flotation time on adsorption of MIBC on talc and molybdenite shows that talc is more likely to interact with the agent than molybdenite at the early stage of flotation, and much more MIBC is adsorbed on talc than on molybdenite at that stage.

采用快速浮选技术对滑石与辉钼矿单矿物进行高效分离试验研究。在矿物粒度0.043~0.074 mm、起泡剂MIBC用量20 g/t、浮选时间60 s条件下,滑石回收率76.64%,辉钼矿回收率仅19.72%,实现了滑石与辉钼矿的高效分离。采用MATLAB软件对浮选速率动力学方程进行非线性拟合,结果表明,滑石浮选过程符合经典一级浮选动力学模型,辉钼矿浮选过程符合修正后的经典一级浮选动力学模型。浮选时间对起泡剂MIBC在滑石和辉钼矿表面吸附量试验结果表明,浮选前期,滑石比辉钼矿更容易与药剂作用,此时滑石表面起泡剂MIBC吸附量远大于辉钼矿表面。

An experimental study was performed on efficient separation of talc and molybdenite by adopting flash flotation. With grain fineness of 0.043-0.074 mm, 20 g/t of frother MIBC, and flotation time of 60 seconds, the talc recovery attains 76.64%, while the recovery of molybdenite is only 19.72%, resulting in an efficient separation between talc and molybdenite. According to the nonlinear fitting of flotation kinetic equation by MATLAB, talc flotation process conforms to the classic first-order flotation kinetic model, while molybdenite flotation conforms to the modified classic first-order flotation kinetic model. The following test on the influence of flotation time on adsorption of MIBC on talc and molybdenite shows that talc is more likely to interact with the agent than molybdenite at the early stage of flotation, and much more MIBC is adsorbed on talc than on molybdenite at that stage.

河南某高滑石型辉钼矿属于热液细脉充填型矿物,是一种嵌布粒度细、氧化率高的难选钼矿。已有研究成果表明,高滑石型辉钼矿难选的原因主要有两方面:一是滑石天然可浮性相对较好,极易伴随泡沫进入钼精矿,从而降低选矿指标[1-3];二是滑石摩氏硬度仅1.0,在磨矿作业中易泥化,从而使得滑石极易罩盖在辉钼矿表面、阻碍捕收剂与辉钼矿作用,不仅降低辉钼矿回收率[4],而且两种矿物难以分离[5-6]。本文作者已在前期对河南上房沟高滑石型辉钼矿进行了详细的浮选试验研究,发现快速浮选技术可有效处理高滑石型辉钼矿[7],使滑石与辉钼矿得到有效分离。在前述研究基础上,本文采用浮选试验结合浮选动力学及药剂吸附量测试等,研究快速浮选技术有效分离滑石与辉钼矿的作用机理。
试验所用滑石单矿物为外购样本,取自辽宁海城,辉钼矿单矿物取自河南栾川三道庄钼矿。矿石经破碎、手选、筛分、三头玛瑙研磨等流程,取+0.147 mm粒级、(-0.147+0.074)mm粒级、(-0.074+0.043)mm粒级、-0.043 mm粒级4种产品作为单矿物浮选矿样。滑石和辉钼矿单矿物化学多元素分析结果分别见表1表2。滑石单矿物纯度达到96.02%,辉钼矿单矿物纯度达到96.18%,均能满足单矿物浮选试验要求。
试验所用药剂包括MIBC(起泡剂)、硫酸(调整剂)、碳酸钠(调整剂)等,其中MIBC纯度不低于99.00%,其余药剂均为工业级药剂。
采用槽体容积50 mL的RK/FD型挂槽式浮选机进行浮选试验。每次称取2.0 g单矿物于浮选槽中,加入50 mL去离子水,搅拌转速1 920 r/min,并按照设定的浮选试验流程进行调浆并加入药剂。采用手动定频的刮泡方式进行浮选刮泡,刮泡次数为20次,最后将收集到的精矿与尾矿分别过滤和干燥、称重、记录、计算各产品回收率。
选出6种典型的浮选动力学模型[8-9],根据浮选速度试验,利用最小二乘法找出适合矿物浮选的动力学模型,选取的6种典型浮选动力学模型如表3所示,其中ε为最终回收率,k为浮选速率常数。
为准确反映实际浮选过程,需准确求得各浮选动力学模型参数,通过MATLAB软件中非线性拟合命令对试验数据进行拟合,得到各个模型的εk值,再根据各模型拟合值和实际的试验值计算各模型的回归参数检验值,误差平方和ESSE和相关系数平方和R2计算公式如下:
误差平方和ESSE越接近0,表明模型拟合值与试验值越接近;相关系数平方和R2的取值范围为[0,1],其数值越接近1,表明模型对试验数据的拟合程度越高,所选择的模型对浮选过程的适应性越强。
称取2.0 g纯矿物,倒入100 mL烧杯中,加入50 mL去离子水,用碳酸钠调节矿浆pH值,加入药剂后用磁力搅拌器搅拌30 min,再用离心机分离矿浆,取分离后的上清液进行化学分析检测,采用残留药剂量的方法检测药剂在矿物表面的吸附量:药剂总量减去矿浆中残留量即为药剂在矿物表面的吸附量。
不添加捕收剂,控制起泡剂MIBC用量,对不同粒级滑石和辉钼矿分别进行单矿物浮选试验,起泡剂用量对矿物浮选效果的影响见图1。从图1可以看出:随着矿物粒度降低,同一种矿物浮选回收率不断增加,确定适宜的矿物浮选粒度为(-0.074+0.043)mm;同一粒度下,随着起泡剂MIBC用量增加,两种矿物回收率均增加,MIBC用量20 g/t时两种矿物回收率取得最大差值(以(-0.074+0.043)mm粒级为例,滑石回收率比辉钼矿回收率高52.98个百分点),MIBC用量大于20 g/t后,辉钼矿回收率迅速增加,两种矿物回收率差异不断减小,起泡剂MIBC的适宜用量为20 g/t。
不添加捕收剂,起泡剂MIBC用量20 g/t,对不同粒级滑石与辉钼矿分别进行单矿物浮选试验,浮选时间对矿物浮选效果的影响见图2。从图2可以看出:随着矿物粒度降低,同种矿物浮选回收率增加;同一粒度条件下,两种矿物回收率均随着浮选时间增加而增加;浮选时间小于60 s时,滑石回收率增长速度大于辉钼矿回收率增长速度,并在浮选时间60 s时两种矿物回收率取得最大差值(以(-0.074+0.043)mm粒级为例,滑石回收率比辉钼矿回收率高48.01个百分点);浮选时间大于60 s后,辉钼矿回收率迅速增加,两种矿物回收率差异不断减小。本试验旨在确定2种矿物回收率差值最大时的浮选时间,该时间为60 s。
为进一步了解滑石浮选行为特征,建立了适用于滑石浮选的动力学模型,6种滑石浮选动力学模型拟合结果见图3,6种滑石浮选动力学模型非线性拟合回归参数与检验值分析结果见表4。比较分析6种模型对试验结果拟合的回归参数与检验值,结果表明,模型1(经典一级动力学模型)对滑石浮选过程拟合程度较好,ESSE最小,R2更接近1。因此,滑石浮选过程更接近于经典一级动力学模型。
同理,建立了适用于辉钼矿浮选的动力学模型,6种辉钼矿浮选动力学模型拟合结果见图4,6种辉钼矿浮选动力学模型非线性拟合回归参数与检验值分析结果见表5。由图4表5可见,6种模型对辉钼矿浮选拟合程度较差。
观察图4发现,浮选时间60 s以后辉钼矿回收率曲线呈上凸趋势,接近经典一级动力学模型。因此对该曲线进行修正,仅对该曲线浮选时间60~120 s区间进行动力学拟合。修正后的6种浮选动力学模型[10]表6,其中ε为最终回收率,k为浮选速率常数,t*为修正的浮选时间。修正后辉钼矿浮选模型拟合对比结果见图5,对应的回归参数与检验值分析结果见表7。由图5表7可见,模型1(修正后的经典一级动力学模型)对辉钼矿浮选过程拟合程度较好。因此,辉钼矿浮选过程更接近修正后的经典一级动力学模型,且浮选时间52.745 s后辉钼矿浮选过程接近于经典一级动力学模型。
结合浮选试验结果与浮选动力学模型可以得出,滑石浮选过程更接近经典一级动力学模型,辉钼矿浮选过程更接近修正后的经典一级动力学模型。从浮选试验结果可以看出,浮选开始后的60 s内,滑石浮选回收率急剧增加,浮选时间60 s时回收率达到76.64%,而此时辉钼矿回收率仅19.72%。说明矿浆中同时存在滑石与辉钼矿两种矿物时,浮选开始时,可浮性高的滑石矿物会覆盖在辉钼矿表面,阻碍浮选药剂的作用,而并不影响滑石的浮选过程;浮选60 s后,由于矿浆中大量的滑石随泡沫提升到矿浆表面,矿浆内部滑石量急剧下降,此时伴随着矿浆的不断搅拌,辉钼矿表面的滑石同时受到矿浆内部液流的冲力以及表面药剂作用后产生的疏水力而不断脱离辉钼矿表面。此时辉钼矿表面裸露在矿浆中,经过浮选药剂的作用,辉钼矿浮选回收率开始急剧升高,说明快速浮选工艺可以实现滑石与辉钼矿的高效分离。
为印证上述猜想,对2种矿物进行了不同吸附时间下起泡剂MIBC的吸附量测试,结果见图6。由图6可以看出,随着浮选时间增加,起泡剂MIBC在滑石和辉钼矿表面的吸附量逐渐增加,浮选时间小于等于60 s时,起泡剂MIBC在滑石表面的吸附量远大于在辉钼矿表面的吸附量,浮选时间大于60 s后,起泡剂MIBC在滑石和辉钼矿表面的吸附量差距逐渐缩小,随着浮选时间不断延长,起泡剂MIBC在2种矿物表面的吸附量曲线不断接近。
这一结果进一步说明:浮选前期,滑石比辉钼矿更容易与药剂作用,此时滑石矿物表面的起泡剂MIBC吸附量远大于辉钼矿表面;伴随着滑石不断脱离辉钼矿表面,辉钼矿表面不断裸露出来,起泡剂MIBC与辉钼矿表面作用的机会增加,辉钼矿表面起泡剂MIBC吸附量也不断增加;浮选后期,2种矿物表面的起泡剂MIBC吸附量接近。
1)采用快速浮选技术,在矿物粒度0.034~0.074 mm、起泡剂MIBC用量20 g/t、浮选时间60 s条件下,滑石回收率76.64%,辉钼矿回收率仅19.72%,实现了滑石与辉钼矿的高效分离。
2)滑石浮选过程更接近于经典一级动力学模型,辉钼矿浮选过程更接近于修正后的经典一级动力学模型。
3)高滑石型辉钼矿浮选时,在开始阶段,可浮性好的滑石会覆盖在辉钼矿表面,阻碍浮选药剂的作用,而并不影响滑石的浮选过程。浮选60 s后,由于矿浆中大量的滑石随泡沫提升到矿浆表面,矿浆内部的滑石量急剧下降,伴随着矿浆不断被搅拌,辉钼矿表面的滑石同时受到矿浆内部液流的冲力以及表面药剂作用后产生的疏水力而脱离辉钼矿表面。此时辉钼矿表面裸露在矿浆中,经浮选药剂作用,辉钼矿回收率开始急剧升高,说明快速浮选工艺可实现滑石与辉钼矿的高效分离。
