An experimental study on a metallurgical grade fluorite concentrate with CaF2 content of 70.34% was conducted to upgrade fluorite concentrate quality by reducing impurities therein. The results of the full process test show that by adopting a process of high intensity magnetic separation for reducing silicon, followed by flotation of non-magnetic minerals for reducing calcium, the experiment produces a fluorite concentrate grading of 91.95% CaF2 at 76.52% recovery, with a yield of 58.30%. It is shown that the concentrate meets the raw material standards for anhydrous hydrofluoric acid production.

针对某CaF2品位70.34%的冶金级萤石精矿进行了提质降杂试验研究。结果表明,采用“强磁选降硅-非磁性产品浮选降钙”工艺,实验室全流程试验获得了精矿产率58.30%、CaF2品位91.95%、回收率76.52%的萤石产品,萤石产品质量达到了制备无水氢氟酸的原料要求。

An experimental study on a metallurgical grade fluorite concentrate with CaF2 content of 70.34% was conducted to upgrade fluorite concentrate quality by reducing impurities therein. The results of the full process test show that by adopting a process of high intensity magnetic separation for reducing silicon, followed by flotation of non-magnetic minerals for reducing calcium, the experiment produces a fluorite concentrate grading of 91.95% CaF2 at 76.52% recovery, with a yield of 58.30%. It is shown that the concentrate meets the raw material standards for anhydrous hydrofluoric acid production.

萤石(CaF2)又称氟石,其钙、氟元素理论质量比为51.1∶48.9,是我国重要的战略性非金属矿产资源,因其独特的物理、化学特性被广泛应用于新能源、新材料、国防、制冷、光学、电子、冶金、原子能工业、建材、医药、农药等新兴产业和传统产业[1-3]
在冶金行业,萤石作为一种助熔剂可用于钢铁和有色金属冶炼,一般要求CaF2含量65%以上、杂质SiO2含量不高于32%;在氟化工行业,萤石作为制备氢氟酸的主要原料,一般要求CaF2含量达到93%~98%,同时对SiO2和其他有害杂质含量也有严格限制[4-5]。萤石品位不同其销售价格相差悬殊。随着制备无水氢氟酸工艺技术的发展,目前国内部分企业已实现了较低品位萤石精矿(CaF2含量88%~93%)制备无水氢氟酸的技术突破[6],但其原料价格仍远高于冶金级萤石精粉。
本文以湖南某冶金级萤石精矿为研究对象,通过选矿提质降杂,从低品位冶金级萤石精矿中获取CaF2含量90%以上的高品位萤石精矿,为制备无水氢氟酸提供合格的生产原料,提升低品位萤石精矿的产品附加值。
试样为湖南某伴生萤石矿通过选矿富集回收获得的冶金级萤石精矿。该萤石精矿化学多元素分析结果见表1;采用MLA设备对矿物组成、含量及萤石单体解离度进行了测定,结果分别见表2表3
表1表2可以看出,试样中目的矿物萤石含量为70.34%,杂质以CaO和SiO2为主,主要脉石矿物为方解石,其次为钙铝榴石、钙铁榴石、白云母等;由表3可以看出,试样中萤石单体分布率为90.11%,含萤石3/4以上的富连生体分布率为5.55%,二者合计分布率达95.66%,表明试样中萤石解离度较高。
试验试剂包括分析纯碳酸钠、盐酸、硫酸,工业品水玻璃,长沙矿冶研究院有限责任公司自主研发药剂CY-21、SY-2,实验室以水玻璃与硫酸按质量比2∶1混合配制的酸化水玻璃等。
仪器设备包括SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机、ZH-560型平环强磁选机、XMQ-Φ240×90锥形球磨机、XFD-0.75L挂槽浮选机、DL-5C型盘式真空过滤机、101-3AB型电热鼓风干燥箱等。
萤石比磁化系数为4.8×10-6 cm3/g,属于非磁性矿物,而钙铝榴石、钙铁榴石、铁铝榴石、绿泥石等主要含SiO2脉石矿物比磁化系数均大于15×10-6 cm3/g,属于弱磁性矿物,因此可以通过强磁选实现萤石与含硅脉石矿物的分离[7]。杂质CaO主要以方解石形式存在,可采用浮选方法脱除。因此,拟采用“强磁选降硅-非磁性产品浮选降钙”的原则流程处理此试样,试验原则流程见图1
采用SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机与ZH-560型平环强磁选机分别进行强磁选试验,磁场强度均为1.3 T,试验流程见图2,结果见表4。从表4可以看出,采用SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机进行强磁选脱硅,获得非磁性产品产率81.79%、CaF2品位72.89%、回收率84.75%的选别指标,SiO2脱除率43.14%。采用ZH-560型平环强磁选机进行强磁选,获得非磁性产品产率80.42%、CaF2品位71.92%、回收率82.29%的选别指标,SiO2脱除率39.56%。采用SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机进行强磁选脱硅效果更好。
采用SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机进行强磁选磁场强度试验,结果见表5。从表5可以看出,随着磁场强度逐渐增大,磁性产品产率逐渐增加,磁性产品中SiO2分布率逐渐增加,非磁性产品中CaF2损失率逐渐增大。综合考虑萤石品位及SiO2脱除率,确定强磁选磁场强度为1.3 T。
非磁性产品中CaF2和CaCO3含量合计达到了93%以上,因此非磁性产品提质的主要工作是实现萤石与方解石的高效分离。对采用SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机在磁场强度1.3 T条件下强磁选获得的非磁性产品浓缩后进行浮选。方解石和萤石晶格中都含有相同的Ca2+,两者溶解性相似,且在溶液中存在矿物之间的相互转化,萤石与方解石浮选分离难度较大[8-9],研发方解石的高效抑制剂和萤石捕收剂成为提高浮选指标的关键因素。采用新型萤石捕收剂CY-21和方解石抑制剂SY-2进行浮选试验,粗选试验流程见图3
在碳酸钠用量600 g/t、酸化水玻璃用量400 g/t、捕收剂CY-21用量250 g/t条件下,进行了抑制剂SY-2用量试验,结果见表6。从表6可以看出,随着SY-2用量增加,粗精矿产率和CaF2回收率逐渐下降,但下降幅度不大,而方解石回收率降幅较大,表明SY-2对方解石具有很好的选择性抑制作用。综合考虑,确定SY-2用量200 g/t为宜。
在碳酸钠用量600 g/t、酸化水玻璃用量400 g/t、SY-2用量200 g/t条件下,进行了捕收剂CY-21用量试验,结果见表7。从表7可以看出,随着CY-21用量增加,粗精矿产率、CaF2回收率及CaCO3回收率均逐渐增加。CY-21用量从250 g/t增加到300 g/t时,粗精矿中萤石回收率增加了0.28个百分点,增幅较小,而方解石回收率提高了3.83个百分点。CY-21用量250 g/t为宜。
采用SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机对低品位萤石精矿进行强磁选,磁场强度1.3 T,得到的非磁性产品采用一粗三精浮选提精,试验流程见图4,结果见表8。从表8可以看出,实验室全流程试验获得了精矿产率58.30%、CaF2品位91.95%、回收率76.52%的萤石产品,萤石产品质量达到了制备无水氢氟酸的原料要求。
1)某低品位冶金级萤石精矿CaF2含量70.34%,主要脉石矿物为方解石,其次为钙铝榴石、钙铁榴石、白云母等,萤石单体解离度较高。
2)针对该低品位冶金级萤石精矿,采用“强磁选降硅-非磁性产品浮选降钙”工艺,以SLon-500立环脉动高梯度磁选机强磁选脱硅,非磁性产品经浮选降钙,实验室全流程试验获得了精矿产率58.30%、CaF2品位91.95%、回收率76.52%的萤石产品,萤石产品质量达到了制备无水氢氟酸的原料要求,实现了该低品位冶金级萤石精矿提质降杂,提升了萤石产品的利用价值,具有良好的工业应用前景。
