Experimental study was carried out on continuous leaching of mixed wolframite-scheelite concentrate with soda in a horizontal continuous autoclave reactor, and the effects of various processing parameters on the decomposition rate of the mixed ore were investigated. Under the processing conditions, including grinding fineness of -0.050 mm for the mixed ore, leaching temperature of 200 ℃, liquid-to-solid ratio of 2.1∶1, soda usage at four times of the theoretical dosage, addition of NaOH at 25 kg/t of ore, and feeding rate of 10 m3/h, the decomposition rate of tungsten in the mixed wolframite-scheelite concentrate reaches 99.55%, with only WO3 content of 0.28% in the slag. It is found that the continuous leaching with soda offers the advantages of easy operation, higher production efficiency, lower energy consumption, stable decomposition rate, as well as higher automation.

采用卧式连续加压浸出釜进行了苏打连续分解黑白钨混合矿的实验研究,考察了各工艺参数对混合矿分解率的影响。结果表明,在黑白钨混合矿磨矿细度-0.050 mm、浸出温度200 ℃、液固比2.1∶1、苏打用量为理论量4倍、氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t、进料速度10 m3/h条件下,钨分解率达99.55%,渣中WO3含量仅0.28%。连续浸出方式相对间歇浸出方式具有操作简单、生产效率高、综合能耗低、分解率稳定、自动化程度高等优点。

采用卧式连续加压浸出釜进行了苏打连续分解黑白钨混合矿的实验研究,考察了各工艺参数对混合矿分解率的影响。结果表明,在黑白钨混合矿磨矿细度-0.050 mm、浸出温度200 ℃、液固比2.1∶1、苏打用量为理论量4倍、氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t、进料速度10 m3/h条件下,钨分解率达99.55%,渣中WO3含量仅0.28%。连续浸出方式相对间歇浸出方式具有操作简单、生产效率高、综合能耗低、分解率稳定、自动化程度高等优点。

Experimental study was carried out on continuous leaching of mixed wolframite-scheelite concentrate with soda in a horizontal continuous autoclave reactor, and the effects of various processing parameters on the decomposition rate of the mixed ore were investigated. Under the processing conditions, including grinding fineness of -0.050 mm for the mixed ore, leaching temperature of 200 ℃, liquid-to-solid ratio of 2.1∶1, soda usage at four times of the theoretical dosage, addition of NaOH at 25 kg/t of ore, and feeding rate of 10 m3/h, the decomposition rate of tungsten in the mixed wolframite-scheelite concentrate reaches 99.55%, with only WO3 content of 0.28% in the slag. It is found that the continuous leaching with soda offers the advantages of easy operation, higher production efficiency, lower energy consumption, stable decomposition rate, as well as higher automation.

工业生产用的钨资源主要有黑钨矿和白钨矿。黑钨矿资源钨品位高,普遍呈脉状,破碎后采用低成本的重选工艺即可富集成黑钨精矿,黑钨精矿用氢氧化钠在较低压下即可完全分解,因此,我国从发现钨开始,主要开采黑钨矿,20世纪80年代初期,从黑钨矿提取的钨占钨总产量的90%以上[1]。经过近百年开采,优质黑钨资源已消耗殆尽,白钨矿产量占比由2009年的38%增长至2022年的64%[2-3]。据统计,国内钨基础储量中,白钨矿和黑钨矿分别占70.4%和29.6%,其余为钨华类矿物[4-6]。随着国内钨冶炼技术的快速进步,各种难冶的复杂钨精矿均能有效分解,WO3品位低于30%的复杂低品位钨矿已成为钨冶炼行业使用的重要原料。随着钨精矿品位的降低,分解药剂和动力成本越来越高,传统压煮釜分解低品位钨矿得到的钨金属量同比下降70%以上,反应釜周期性操作频次越来越高,安全风险倍增,传统的苏打压煮法亦是如此[7]。苏打压煮法是欧美等大型钨冶炼厂家普遍采用的方法,具有原料适应性强、分解效率高和杂质浸出率低等优点,既可用于处理白钨矿,也可用于处理低锰黑钨矿(MnWO4含量低于50%)[8-10];但该法存在分解体系液固比高、设备利用率低、分解能耗高等不足之处。
连续浸出技术和设备已成熟运用在铝、铜、锌等大宗有色金属冶炼过程中,如铝的连续管道化溶出[11]、锌的连续氧压浸出等[12]。由于钨精矿供应市场批量小、品种多、质量参差不齐,钨冶炼企业普遍规模较小、自控水平较低,国内外钨冶炼厂的压煮都采用单台压煮釜进行间歇作业。为克服传统苏打压煮法存在的生产效率低、劳动强度大、综合能耗高、设备利用率低、自动化程度低和安全风险点多等不足,研发节能安全、环保、高效的新型钨矿连续分解技术和装备已成为行业共识。本文针对黑白钨混合矿,采用苏打连续浸出工艺,研究了磨矿细度、浸出温度、搅拌速度、氢氧化钠用量和进料速度对钨分解率的影响,并对比了连续浸出与间歇浸出的技术指标。
实验原料为湖南某矿山生产的黑白钨混合矿,其主要成分及含量见表1,物相分析结果见图1。该混合矿WO3品位为23.41%(其中白钨成分占矿物的16.82%,黑钨成分占矿物的6.59%),水分含量为13.75%;该黑白钨混合矿中白钨(CaWO4)与黑钨([Fe,Mn]WO4)的比例约为7∶3,含有方解石(CaCO3)、黄铁矿(FeS2)、萤石(CaF2)和石英(SiO2)等脉石杂质。
黑白钨混合矿的SEM图如图2所示,矿物主要由大块状方解石脉石和嵌布粒度细的颗粒状钨矿物构成。
主要实验设备为过热蒸气直通加热的卧式连续浸出釜,如图3所示。图中人孔用于人工维护、设备检修。
实验用碳酸钠、氢氧化钠均为工业品。
根据钨矿物的苏打压煮理论,浸出过程中主要发生如下反应:
由式(1)~(3)可知,黑白钨矿分解得到易溶的钨酸钠(Na2WO4),结合反应式和表1的WO3含量,计算得到苏打的理论添加量为107.02 kg/t
将2 000 kg黑白钨混合矿用球磨机磨至需要的细度;磨好的黑白钨混合矿与一定量的碳酸钠(Na2CO3)、氢氧化钠(NaOH)和水一起加入配料槽并搅拌均匀,得到料浆;料浆转入连续浸出给料槽;槽内料浆通过给料泵连续加入浸出槽,料浆顺流进入连续浸出槽第1分室,最后分室排出。反应体系温度为200 ℃,进料速度控制为8~10 m3/h,各分室搅拌速度均为50 r/min。连续浸出槽内部有4个分室,料浆沿隔板底部从第1分室进入第2分室,从第2分室开始,料浆沿隔板顶部溢流进入下一分室;反应后排出的料浆进行过滤和洗涤。待连续浸出釜的进出料平衡且釜内温度稳定后,取10 mL溶液样测定浸出液中WO3质量浓度,再根据黑白钨混合矿中WO3的质量分数计算分解率,必要时用比色法检测浸出钨渣中WO3含量,对计算结果进行验证。
将2 000 kg黑白钨混合矿用球磨机磨碎、筛分至需要的粒度,反应温度200 ℃、液固比2.1∶1、苏打用量为理论量的4倍、氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t、进料速度10 m3/h、各分室搅拌速度均为50 r/min条件下,磨矿细度对钨分解率的影响见图4图4表明,钨分解率随磨矿粒度变细而增加。矿物在磨矿过程中粒度变细,比表面积增加,碳酸钠溶液与矿物的接触面积加大,有利于提高钨矿的浸出速率。在磨细过程中,矿物晶体内应力增加,化学活性增加,也是浸出反应速率增加的重要原因[13]。但更细的磨矿粒度需要更高的球磨能耗,同时导致后续固液分离时过滤和洗涤困难。因此,确定磨矿细度为-0.050 mm。
黑白钨混合矿粒度为-0.050 mm,其他条件不变,浸出温度对钨分解率的影响如图5所示。由图5可知,钨分解率随浸出温度升高而升高。根据多相化学反应过程动力学一般规律和白钨矿、黑钨矿与碳酸钠反应机理可知,碳酸钠起始浓度一定的条件下,升高温度将使碳酸钠分解黑白钨混合矿的分解率提高,采用加压浸出可以得到较高的分解率[6,14]。但温度过高将导致设备工作压力大幅增加;以纯水的饱和蒸气压为例,200 ℃时为1.55 MPa,260 ℃时高达4.69 MPa。更高的浸出温度意味着更高的压力,对反应设备的制造要求更高,同时也带来更高的能耗。因此,确定浸出温度200 ℃。
根据有关学者对碳酸钠与黑钨矿、白钨矿的反应机理研究,150~230 ℃时,搅拌速度足够快的条件下,浸出过程为化学反应控制,搅拌速度偏慢时,浸出反应不但受化学反应控制,还受矿物表面已变厚固体生产物的扩散过程控制[15-16]
浸出温度200 ℃,其他条件不变,各分室搅拌速度对钨分解率的影响如图6所示。由图6可见,钨分解率随搅拌速度升高而升高。在较低的搅拌速度(30 r/min)下,钨分解率仅97.44%;搅拌速度提高至50 r/min,分解率达到99.55%;继续提高搅拌速度至60 r/min,钨分解率变化较小。随着搅拌速度升高,反应釜釜体振动加大,不但缩短搅拌机寿命,还带来搅拌电耗上升。搅拌速度应控制在50 r/min。
苏打压煮法处理黑白钨混合矿时,黑钨与Na2CO3反应易生成NaHCO3(式(4)~(5))。反应生成碳酸氢钠消耗了碳酸钠,导致溶液中pH值降低、Na2CO3实际含量降低、NaHCO3含量增加,使钨分解率下降[17-18]。补充NaOH以提高pH值可作为提高钨矿分解率的方法。搅拌速度50 r/min,其他条件不变,氢氧化钠用量对钨分解率的影响见图7。由图7可见,不添加NaOH时,钨分解率仅92.41%;NaOH用量由5 kg/t提高至25 kg/t时,分解率由93.81%提高至99.55%;继续增加NaOH用量至50 kg/t时,钨分解率下降至99.15%。因此,控制NaOH用量为25 kg/t
氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t,其他条件不变,进料速度对分解率的影响见图8。由图8可知,进料速度6~10 m3/h时,钨分解率稳定在99.55%~99.60%;进料速度继续增加至12 m3/h后,钨分解率迅速下降至98.66%,说明过快的进料速度导致矿物的浸出不完全、反应不彻底。因此,进料速度应控制在10 m3/h。
通过上述单因素研究,得到黑白钨混合矿的苏打连续浸出工艺参数为:矿物磨矿细度-0.050 mm、浸出温度200 ℃、液固比2.1∶1、苏打用量为理论用量4倍、氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t、进料速度10 m3/h。在优化工艺参数下,钨浸出率达到99.55%,渣中WO3含量为0.28%。
优化条件下所得浸出渣XRD物相分析结果如图9所示。由图9可知,渣中物相以碳酸钙和铁氧化物为主,含有少量SnO2。渣中未见含钨的物相,说明钨已经完全浸出。
图10为浸出渣的SEM图及其对应的EDS元素分布,浸出渣中碳酸钙呈块状形貌,铁氧化物呈簇状形貌。
基于连续浸出优化实验条件,在20 m3压煮釜中进行了间歇浸出对比试验,工艺条件为:将2 000 kg黑白钨混合矿用球磨机磨碎至粒度为-0.050 mm,磨好的黑白钨混合矿在温度200 ℃、液固比2.1∶1、苏打用量为理论用量4倍、氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t、反应时间2 h条件下进行浸出实验。2种浸出方式的主要技术经济指标对比见表2
对比结果表明,连续浸出工艺能够保持99.55%的钨分解率,生产每吨WO3的蒸气消耗为3.7 t,较间歇浸出方式低1.6 t;连续浸出时设备处理能力为17.28 tWO3/d,约为间歇浸出时的7.38倍。因此,连续浸出方式自动化程度高,操作简单、安全,提供了新的黑白钨混合矿连续分解技术。
1)连续浸出技术和设备可实现黑白钨混合矿的高效分解,较细的磨矿粒度、较高的浸出温度和搅拌速度有利于提高钨的分解率。
2)黑白钨混合矿的苏打连续浸出优化工艺条件为:黑白钨混合矿磨矿细度-0.050 mm、浸出温度200 ℃、液固比2.1∶1、苏打用量为理论用量4倍、氢氧化钠用量25 kg/t、进料速度10 m3/h,在此条件下,钨浸出率达99.55%,渣含WO3为0.28%,分解效果令人满意。
3)连续浸出相对间歇浸出具有操作简单、生产效率高、综合能耗低、分解率稳定、自动化程度高等优点。在工业生产过程中,连续浸出对钨矿稳定性和生产连续性的要求较高,对原料的适应性需进一步提升。
