To study the effect of sand content on the rheological properties of lacustrine soft soil in northern Hunan, one-dimensional rheological consolidation tests under single-stage load were carried out with soft soil samples prepared with different sand content in the laboratory. The results show that the sand content has a significant effect on consolidation deformation of lacustrine soft soil in northern Hunan. The time of primary consolidation is almost unaffected by consolidation pressure, and decreases linearly with the sand/soil ratio. The higher the sand content in soil, the greater the consolidation pressure, and the smaller the secondary consolidation coefficient. The relationship between the secondary consolidation coefficient and the sand/soil ratio can be well represented by a power function. The higher the content of coarse particles in soft soil, the greater the fractal dimension. There is a linear relationship between the secondary consolidation coefficient and the fractal dimension.

在室内配制不同含砂量的湘北湖相软土试样,开展了单级荷载下的一维固结流变试验,研究含砂量对湘北湖相软土流变特性的影响。结果表明,含砂量对湘北湖湘软土的固结变形影响显著;主固结完成时间几乎不受固结压力影响;主固结完成时间与砂土比呈线性递减关系;软土中含砂量越高,固结压力越大,次固结系数越小;次固结系数与砂土比存在良好的幂函数关系;软土中粗颗粒含量越高,分形维数越大;次固结系数与分形维数呈线性关系。

在室内配制不同含砂量的湘北湖相软土试样,开展了单级荷载下的一维固结流变试验,研究含砂量对湘北湖相软土流变特性的影响。结果表明,含砂量对湘北湖湘软土的固结变形影响显著;主固结完成时间几乎不受固结压力影响;主固结完成时间与砂土比呈线性递减关系;软土中含砂量越高,固结压力越大,次固结系数越小;次固结系数与砂土比存在良好的幂函数关系;软土中粗颗粒含量越高,分形维数越大;次固结系数与分形维数呈线性关系。

To study the effect of sand content on the rheological properties of lacustrine soft soil in northern Hunan, one-dimensional rheological consolidation tests under single-stage load were carried out with soft soil samples prepared with different sand content in the laboratory. The results show that the sand content has a significant effect on consolidation deformation of lacustrine soft soil in northern Hunan. The time of primary consolidation is almost unaffected by consolidation pressure, and decreases linearly with the sand/soil ratio. The higher the sand content in soil, the greater the consolidation pressure, and the smaller the secondary consolidation coefficient. The relationship between the secondary consolidation coefficient and the sand/soil ratio can be well represented by a power function. The higher the content of coarse particles in soft soil, the greater the fractal dimension. There is a linear relationship between the secondary consolidation coefficient and the fractal dimension.

在河流沿岸及内湖地区广泛分布着湖相软土,该类软土大多为淤泥质黏土,具有高天然含水率、低强度、高压缩性、低渗透性、物理状态呈软塑至流塑等特点。随着国家“中部崛起”战略的提出,越来越多的工程建设在湖相软土地基上。由于湖相软土结构的特殊性,将其作为地基极易发生工后沉降,缩短建(构)筑物的使用寿命,影响建(构)筑物的安全稳定性。
湘北地区地处长江中下游,由于长江中下游地区地形变化不大,长江流速在中下游区域明显放缓,在静水和缓慢水流中经过生化作用而形成的软土一般具有有机质含量高、含砂量地域差异大等特征。已有的研究多从有机质等流变物质含量和吸附结合水的角度考察其对湖相软土土质和各项物理参数及力学特性的影响[1-12],忽视了湖相软土中含砂量对湖相软土物理性质、力学强度、流变特性的影响。本文以湖南省安乡至慈利高速公路段路基湖相软土为研究对象,在室内配制不同含砂量的试样,进行为期30 d的单级荷载下的一维固结流变试验,研究含砂量对湘北湖相软土流变特性的影响。
试样由土样和标准石英砂组成。土样选自湖南省安乡至慈利高速公路段路基软土,钻孔编号为KZK11-1,取样深度6.5~11.5 m,其基本物理力学性质如表1所示。湖南省安乡至慈利高速公路段路基软土属于典型的湘北湖相软土,有机质含量高。根据JTG 3430—2020《公路土工试验规程》[13],将采集的扰动土样放在烘箱中70 ℃烘干24 h,将烘干后的土样充分研磨后过0.05 mm筛。试样用砂为标准石英砂,其基本物理指标如表2所示。
用量程为1 000 g的电子天平分别称取所需质量的标准石英砂和烘干后的土样,轻缓倒入不锈钢托盘,利用四分法将土样初步混合均匀,配备砂土质量比(Ws,简称砂土比)分别为0、0.2、0.4、0.6、0.8的含砂湖相软土(其粒径组成详见表3),再分别袋装铺平,放置阴凉干燥处保存。
对试样进行颗粒级配测定,级配曲线见图1。不同含砂量试样的颗粒级配曲线介于双曲线型和反“S”型之间,随着砂土比增大,含砂试样平均粒径增加,级配曲线曲率不断增大。
首先将同一编号试样倒入容器中,加入预定质量的纯净水(质量为砂-土混合物的液限),充分搅拌(搅拌速率2 r/s),形成泥浆。为了避免搅拌时发生溢出情况,筒壁周围设置宽10 cm的带状塑料片。含砂量较低的泥浆,其直观表征与重塑土样区别不大,表面相对平滑,用调土刀在表面进行滑移有明显痕印,且质地较为均匀细腻。含砂量较大时,可以在土样表面看到明显的颗粒,土样颗粒感明显,颜色偏浅。
在模型箱底部铺一层保水性砂,然后在模型箱四周铺塑料膜,再铺具有良好透水性的土工布。将制备好的泥浆灌入模型箱中,表面整平,最后在模型箱上部施加75 kPa的预压荷载。为了保持土体受力均匀,要将模型箱放在相对平整的地面上,试验期间不得随意挪动模型箱,保持模型箱稳定。
采用压样法制备高度20 mm、截面积30 cm2的圆柱形试件,并控制每个试件连同环刀的质量为(150±1)g。将不同砂土比试件置于真空饱和器中饱和24 h后取出备用。
对不同砂土比的试件进行一维固结流变试验。采用单级荷载的加载方式施加不同等级的压力,加载等级为50、100、200、400 kPa和600 kPa,每个压力等级持续30 d。每级荷载施加后的24 h内按照JTG 3430—2020《公路土工试验规程》[13]规定的时间间隔记录固结过程中的变形量和测读时间,24 h后每隔24 h记录变形量和测读时间。
整理试验数据,绘制不同固结压力下的应变-时间曲线,结果见图2。由图2可知,应变-时间曲线主、次固结分界明显,呈反“S”型。在相同固结压力下,随着砂土比增大,主固结变形明显减小;相同砂土比条件下,随着固结压力增大,主固结变形相应增大;含砂量对主固结变形影响显著。随着砂土比、固结压力增加,次固结段曲线逐渐变缓。这是因为,随着含砂量和固结压力增加,软土的颗粒接触状态发生明显变化。含砂量较小时,主要为细粒土与细粒土之间的直接接触,细粒土为主要受力骨架;随着含砂量增加,逐渐由细粒土与细粒土之间的直接接触为主变为细粒土与砂粒之间直接接触为主,细粒土仅在土体中充当填充作用,砂粒变为土体的主要受力骨架。含砂量越高,骨架作用愈明显。同时,固结压力越大,土体越密实,颗粒结合更紧密,压缩模量变大,变形减小。
采用应变速率法来划分主次固结时间[14]。通过应变速率法所确定的主固结时间tpc表4所示。主固结时间tpc与砂土比的关系见图3。由图3可知,主固结时间几乎不受固结压力影响;主固结时间随着含砂量增加而减小。这是由于随着土体中含砂量增加,自由水的排出更加顺畅,土体可以更加快速地进入次固结阶段。通过Origin对主固结时间tpc与砂土比Ws进行线性拟合,结果同样列于图3中。拟合函数表达式为:
式中QG均为拟合参数,其值如表5所示。
不同砂土比Ws土样的次固结系数Cα与固结压力p的对数关系见图4。可以看到,随着固结压力p增加,砂土比为0的试样次固结系数Cα几乎呈线性下降;随着砂量增加,次固结系数Cα随固结压力p增加呈双线性变化,固结压力200~400 kPa时,存在一个次固结系数急剧下降的固结压力节点;固结压力400~600 kPa时,土体的次固结系数与Δp的比值比进入急剧下降节点前的值明显更小,斜率相对平缓。
通过图4还发现,固结压力低于200 kPa时,所有试样的次固结系数Cα随固结压力p变化曲线的斜率大致保持一致,说明低固结压力下含砂量不会对次固结系数Cα与lgp关系曲线的斜率产生影响。
计算得到的次固结系数Cα与砂土比Ws的关系如图5所示。可以看到,在相同固结压力下,次固结系数Cα随砂土比Ws增大而减小;含砂量相同时,次固结系数Cα随固结压力增加而减小。说明含砂量越大,次固结系数Cα越小,土体结构强度更稳定,土体工后沉降越小。
图6为次固结系数Cα与砂土比Ws的拟合曲线,拟合关系式为:
式中λm均为拟合参数,其值如表6所示。
拟合结果表明,次固结系数Cα与砂土比Ws存在良好的幂函数关系,相关系数R2均在0.91以上,相关性良好。
采用Talbot的级配方程[15]对含砂湖相软土的分形维数进行计算:
式中P为小于某粒径d的累计百分含量;dmax为集配最大粒径;D为分形维数。
由式(3)可得:
含砂湖相软土的不均匀系数Cu和曲率系数Cc计算式为:
式中d60d30d10分别为小于该粒径的颗粒质量为60%、30%、10%的粒径,也可分别称之为限制粒径、中值粒径和有效粒径。
d10和10%,d30和30%,d60和60%分别代入式(4),可得:
将式(7)、式(8)、式(9)分别代入式(5)和式(6),得:
计算得到分形维数D与不均匀系数Cu的关系如图7所示。可见不均匀系数Cu与分形维数D呈指数递增关系。分形维数D>2.5时,不均匀系数Cu很快增长,曲线曲率减小。结合试验结果分析,土样的分形维数越大,其竖向应变越小,土体强度越高。
对式(3)进行对数变换,可得:
分形模型级配方程参数具有明确的物理意义。由此可见,分形模型级配方程参数是双对数坐标系中直线斜率的度量。分形维数定量反映了土体中颗粒粒径的分布特征。同一种土体,其分形维数越大,表明粗颗粒含量越高;分形维数越小,表明细颗粒含量越高。
计算得到分形维数D与砂土比Ws的关系如图8所示。通过图8可以看出,含砂量不同,土体颗粒级配和分形维数均不同,砂土比0~0.4时,随着砂土比增大,土样分形维数显著提升;砂土比大于0.4后,随着砂土比变化,土样分形维数趋于平缓。
通常规定级配良好的土能同时满足不均匀系数Cu≥5和曲率系数Cc=1~3的条件[16]。由式(10)~(11)反算可得,级配良好的路基填土,其分形维数为:
整理式(13)可得:1.8867≤D≤2.6309。
次固结系数Cα与分形维数D的关系如图9所示。由图9可知,两者存在线性关系。次固结系数与分形维数的线性表达式为:
式中Cα为次固结系数;D为分形维数;A2B2均为参数,其拟合值及相关系数如表7所示。
1)应变-时间曲线主、次固结分界明显,明显呈反“S”型。含砂量对湘北湖湘软土固结变形影响显著。
2)湘北湖湘软土的主固结时间几乎不受固结压力影响;主固结时间与砂土比呈线性递减关系。
3)含砂量越高,固结压力越大,湘北湖湘软土的次固结系数Cα越小;次固结系数Cα与砂土比Ws存在良好的幂函数关系。
4)湘北湖湘软土的粗颗粒含量越高,分形维数越大;次固结系数Cα与分形维数呈线性关系。
