This paper aims to explore the influencing factors of university teachers' willingness to popularize science to achieve the purpose of motivating them. Based on summarizing the path of college teachers' participation in science popularization and the incentive elements of science popularization willingness in the existing research, it puts forward the hypothesis that the working environment, science popularization resources, personal cost and satisfaction incentive will influence college teachers' willingness to popularize science. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 94 teachers from the state key laboratories of eight universities on Xueyuan Road through the mail survey and the accidental sampling survey. The hypothesis was verified using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that science popularization resources can have a positive significant impact, personal costs can have a negative significant impact, and working environment and satisfaction incentives do not significantly impact university teachers' willingness to popularize science education.
