At the 2005 PCST Working Symposium held in Beijing, the issue of youth science and technology communication has won wide concerns of the attending scholars. Giving a throughout review of the presented papers, this article tries to reveal the plight of youth science and technology communication, namely, the declined interest of youth in science and technology, give an analysis of the causes that lead to this plight and the strategies being taken to deal with it, which will shed a light on the action of youth science and technology communication in China.

在2005年于中国北京召开的国际公众科技传播网的工作会议上，青少年科技传播问题得到与会学者的广泛关注。通过对本次会议提交案例的分析，本文揭示了青少年科学传播活动在当前所面临的困境，即青少年科学兴趣的下降，分析了造成这种困境的原因，以及各国学者所提出的对策。希望可以对中国青少年科学传播活动给出有益的启示。
