This article chooses two different types of Internet media, The Sina and People's Daily Online, to investigate and compare how these two Internet media conduct special reports on natural disaster. This paper takes the Yushu earthquake as an example and finds out that People's Daily Online is doing better on taking advantages of all media forms while the Sina is doing better on the classification of news. Furthermore, People's Daily Online focuses on conveying government's decisions and opinions to public. However, the Sina puts more attention on telling rescue stories vividly.

本文选取了人民网和新浪网这两家定位不同的媒体网站，以青海玉树地震为例，对于二者重大自然灾害的网络专题设置及报道情况进行分析和比较。研究发现，人民网在媒介融合的资源利用上做得比新浪网更加全面，新浪网在新闻信息的整合分类上做得更加细致和明确。同时，人民网更加注重传达政府的声音，并且以独家的形式呈现出来；而新浪网则突出说故事，以一个救援队作为主角，生动地呈现了灾区的救援情况。
