In this basic project, the science and technology characteristic high schools undertake the important mission of exploring a new mode of talent training. This article focuses on the evolution of the science and technology characteristic high schools construction through the collection of relevant literature for in-depth analysis. It is divided into stages according to the changes in the degree of integration of science and technology education and school education. We summarize the historical experience of the schools, answer the certainty of the science and technology characteristic high schools construction in China, and look forward to the future of the development trend of the science and technology characteristic high schools. The study found that under the promotion and influence of the background of the times and the development of science and technology, the training goals, training models and implementation points of the schools are different at each stage, reflecting distinct historical characteristics. 建设教育强国、培养科技创新人才是中华民族伟大复兴的基础工程之一，科技特色高中在这项基础工程中承担着探索人才培养新模式的重要使命。本文重点研究科技特色高中建设的演进历程，通过搜集相关文献进行深入分析，根据科技教育与学校教育融合程度变化等要素进行阶段性划分，总结科技特色高中建设的历史经验，回答我国科技特色高中建设的必然性，展望未来科技特色高中建设的发展趋势。研究发现，在时代变迁与科技发展的推动和影响下，科技特色高中在各时期的培养目标、培养模式和实施要点各不相同，体现出鲜明的历史特征。对此，本文提出要科学把握科技特色高中建设的目标、功能和发展定位，强化政策引导与资源保障，布局未来科技重点领域人才培养专项计划，打造现代化科技特色高中治理体系。
