The 550 MPa grade hot rolled axle housing test steel is rolled in laboratory with the design of medium carbon content+micro alloy Nb and Ti as well as controlled rolling and controlled cooling process. The results showed that the effects of adding moderate rare earth Ce into test steel on its microstructure and strength were not obvious, rare earth Ce reduced the grade of inclusion (class B) in test steel, low temperature impact energy of test steel with rare earth was obviously better than that of test steel without rare earth and fatigue property of axle housing test steel was improved by rare earth Ce.

采用中碳含量+微合金Nb、Ti设计以及控轧控冷工艺在实验室轧制出屈服强度550 MPa级热轧桥壳试验钢。研究结果表明,试验钢中加入适量稀土Ce元素,对钢的组织及强度影响不明显,稀土Ce降低了试验钢B类夹杂物的评级,加稀土试验钢低温冲击功明显优于不加稀土试验钢的冲击功,稀土Ce改善了桥壳试验钢的疲劳性能。

The 550 MPa grade hot rolled axle housing test steel is rolled in laboratory with the design of medium carbon content+micro alloy Nb and Ti as well as controlled rolling and controlled cooling process. The results showed that the effects of adding moderate rare earth Ce into test steel on its microstructure and strength were not obvious, rare earth Ce reduced the grade of inclusion (class B) in test steel, low temperature impact energy of test steel with rare earth was obviously better than that of test steel without rare earth and fatigue property of axle housing test steel was improved by rare earth Ce.

桥壳是汽车行驶系统的主要构件之一,在使用过程中,它支承车架及车架以后的各总成重量,同时它保护传动系统中的各部件。随着中、重型卡车车桥制造技术的发展、汽车节能减重的需要及整车性能的不断提高,市场对包括驱动桥在内的各总成的要求也相应提高,大吨位和复杂路况都对桥壳的性能提出了挑战,汽车驱动桥壳用钢要求产品有足够的强度、刚度和良好的冷弯及拉延成形性,以及优异的耐疲劳性能[1-2]。为了提高包钢桥壳用钢产品在中型、重型卡车制造市场占有率,需要开发更高强度级别且高延展性的桥壳用钢以满足用户要求。桥壳钢属于汽车承载部件用钢,要求其具有良好的耐疲劳性能。实验室开展稀土Ce元素对桥壳试验钢组织性能的影响研究,对比探讨添加稀土的效果。
根据桥壳钢用户的使用性能要求和文献,参照其他钢厂桥壳钢成分设计,考虑降低成本及微合金元素用量,提高室温强度,实验室炼钢以中碳+微合金Nb、Ti设计为主,添加微量的稀土元素Ce。Mn是固溶强化元素,可提高钢的强度和塑性[3];Nb是细晶强化元素,提高钢的强韧性和疲劳性能[4];低的S含量降低了含硫的A类夹杂物对性能的影响。稀土Ce加入量为0.003 0%,对应试验钢中存留量为0.002 0%。表1为试验钢化学成分。
实验室轧制试验钢的目标厚度为12 mm。
(1)加热和轧制。加热温度为1 200~1 220 ℃。轧制分为第一阶段和第二阶段轧制,第一阶段在奥氏体再结晶区轧制,开轧温度为1 170~1 180 ℃,第1—2道次压下量应大于10%,其余至少有1—2道次压下率控制在25%以上;第二阶段在奥氏体未再结晶区轧制,开轧温度不大于960 ℃,中间坯厚度为2.0~3.5倍成品厚度,终轧温度820 ℃。
(2)冷却。控制轧制结束后,钢板进入层流冷却区域,以10~15 ℃/s的冷却速度冷却至450~480 ℃,之后进入冷床冷却。主要轧制工艺参数见表2
屈服强度550 MPa级试验钢的力学性能见表3,550QK、550QK-RE试验钢屈服强度、抗拉强度和延伸率均符合要求。稀土Ce元素的加入对强度的影响不明显。
试验钢500倍显微组织见图1。试验钢组织为铁素体+珠光体+贝氏体。在本试验条件下,适量稀土Ce的加入对成品显微组织的影响不明显。晶粒度为12~13级。
试验钢的夹杂物评级见表4。实验室小炉炼钢采用Al脱氧,与工业生产比较,实验室小炉炼钢的B类(氧化铝类)夹杂物的评级较高。550QK、550QK-RE试验钢夹杂物的典型形貌如图2所示,550QK、550QK-RE试验钢B类夹杂物评级分别为2.5级、1.0级。550QK-RE试验钢B类稀土夹杂物评级降低。在实验室冶炼条件下,微量稀土Ce的加入降低了B类夹杂物的危害,对钢的综合性能是有利的。
未加稀土和加入微量稀土Ce的550QK、550QK-RE试验钢进行了系列温度V型夏比冲击试验,试验温度为20 ℃、0 ℃、-20 ℃、-40 ℃、-60 ℃,表5分别列出了550QK、550QK-RE试验钢系列温度冲击检测数值,可以看出550QK-RE试验钢其低温冲击韧性要比550QK试验钢略高,尤其在-40 ℃、-60 ℃,550QK-RE试验钢冲击功明显优于550QK试验钢的冲击功。
550QK、550QK-RE试验钢低温冲击断口形貌见图3。由图3可以看出,550QK试验钢-40 ℃、-60 ℃冲击断口形貌为准解理,550QK-RE试验钢-40 ℃、-60 ℃冲击断口形貌为准解理+韧窝,并且在韧窝处有细小的球状小颗粒,能谱分析韧窝中出现的细小球状夹杂物为稀土硫化物夹杂。经稀土处理的桥壳钢夹杂物为球状稀土硫化物,起到了很好的变质夹杂的作用。一般钢中添加稀土元素后,能够形成颗粒细小的稀土夹杂物,有利于韧窝的形成,增加韧窝数量和深度,提高钢的冲击性能。稀土含量较高时,形成的稀土夹杂物尺寸更为细小,韧窝数量增加,有利于提高钢冲击性能。稀土处理桥壳钢具有良好的冲击韧性,尤其对低温冲击韧性的提髙比较明显。钢中含有细小、球形的稀土硫氧化物夹杂,分布在钢的基体界面上,稀土元素的加入把呈条带状的MnS夹杂物变成了高硬度难变形的球形稀土硫氧化物,在轧制时不会沿轧制方向伸长,当裂纹扩展到夹杂物处时,稀土球形夹杂大大减轻了夹杂物引起的应力集中,使得夹杂不易脱离基体,阻碍了裂纹的扩展,从而使冲击功数值提高。微量稀土元素偏聚于晶界,减少了杂质元素S等在晶界的偏聚,净化了晶界,提髙了晶界的强度,试样在承受冲击载荷时,晶界将吸收更多的裂纹扩展的能量,从而使试样的冲击功提髙。
550QK与550QK-RE试验钢分别进行高周疲劳测试,探索其疲劳极限,测试结果见图4
550QK-RE试验钢疲劳极限为260 MPa,550QK试验钢疲劳极限为240 MPa,在实验室条件下,适量稀土Ce的加入对疲劳性能是有益的。
(1)550QK、550QK-RE试验钢的显微组织为细晶粒铁素体+珠光体+贝氏体,适量稀土Ce的加入对钢的组织影响不明显。
(2)550QK、550QK-RE试验钢的力学性能满足技术要求,适量稀土Ce的加入对钢的强度影响不大。
(3)适量稀土Ce的加入降低了试验钢B类夹杂物的评级。
(4)加稀土的试验钢低温冲击功明显优于不加稀土试验钢的冲击功,微量稀土Ce改善了高强桥壳试验钢的疲劳性能。
