There is alarm signal in the ultrasonic flaw detection of PZ100 grade expansion pipe. The detected defects those trigger alarm signal are found through cutting open the area where there is alarm on pipe body. The defects of alarm of flaw detection are determined to be big inclusions of aluminium oxides with main components of O, Al, Mg and Ca through such methods as microstructure observation and scanning electron microscope energy spectrum analysis. The continuity of matrix for PZ100 grade expansion pipe is destroyed by cinder inclusions under surface of pipe and interlayer is formed, so cracks are formed under the action of rolling force so that flaw detector is alarmed. The product quality of PZ100 grade expansion pipe is ensured by strictly implementing technological operation regulation as well as strengthening macroscopic examination of steel billet and detection of inclusions of finished product.

PZ100钢级膨胀管在超声波探伤检查中出现报警信号。通过解剖管体报警区域,找到触发报警信号的探伤缺陷。通过显微组织观察、扫描电镜能谱分析等方法,确定成分主要为O、Al、Mg、Ca的氧化铝类大型夹杂物为探伤报警缺陷。皮下夹渣破坏PZ100钢级膨胀管基体的连续性,形成夹层,在轧制力的作用下形成裂纹,导致探伤报警。严格执行工艺操作规程,加强钢坯低倍检验和成品夹杂物检测,确保PZ100钢级膨胀管产品质量。

There is alarm signal in the ultrasonic flaw detection of PZ100 grade expansion pipe. The detected defects those trigger alarm signal are found through cutting open the area where there is alarm on pipe body. The defects of alarm of flaw detection are determined to be big inclusions of aluminium oxides with main components of O, Al, Mg and Ca through such methods as microstructure observation and scanning electron microscope energy spectrum analysis. The continuity of matrix for PZ100 grade expansion pipe is destroyed by cinder inclusions under surface of pipe and interlayer is formed, so cracks are formed under the action of rolling force so that flaw detector is alarmed. The product quality of PZ100 grade expansion pipe is ensured by strictly implementing technological operation regulation as well as strengthening macroscopic examination of steel billet and detection of inclusions of finished product.

PZ100钢级膨胀管是API标准套管中的高钢级产品,专为复杂矿井设计,技术门槛高于常规套管,要求具有优异的抗挤毁、耐腐蚀、耐低温、密封性和连接效率等力学性能和应用优势。
PZ100钢级膨胀管交付用户后,在超声波探伤检查中管体某区域发出报警信号。本文通过自创方法解剖管体报警区域,找到触发报警信号的探伤缺陷,采取显微组织观察、扫描电镜能谱分析等方法,找到导致探伤缺陷的成因,为钢管生产的质量控制提供了参考。
根据GB/T 5777—2008《无缝钢管超声波探伤检验方法》[1],采用GUT 36便携式数字超声探伤仪(2.5 MHz 8×12 K2斜探头)对规格Φ104 mm×8 mm的PZ100钢级膨胀管作管体探伤检查时,探伤仪显示报警峰(见图1)。在触发信号的膨胀管区域涂抹耦合剂,使用探头缓慢扫查,进一步缩小探伤报警区域,并用黑色标记,如图2所示。
找到报警区域,下一步是解剖报警区域的管体作进一步检查。解剖管体的探伤报警区域必须定位精准,不能破坏报警区域内的疑似缺陷,从而影响材料的失效分析。如果使用砂轮切割机切取报警区域约20 mm×30 mm大小的金相试样,然后磨制试样的纵向和横向检测面,这样极有可能将探伤缺陷破坏,导致取样失败,所以这个办法不可取,决定放弃。本文根据管体缺陷位置、缺陷深度等实际情况,自主开发出一个切实可行的办法,探伤缺陷被成功定位和自由破断分离。
肉眼观察断口,塑性变形区域约占断口面积的85%,其它约占断口面积15%的区域为呈椭圆形起伏状的平台,平台的裂纹源指向钢管外壁,裂纹源区长约30 mm,呈放射状扩展,末端正好位于钢管外表面探伤缺陷的标记点,印证其触发了报警信号,如图3所示。
轻轻磨制试样断口面,不能磨掉裂纹源区,以便能观察到源区夹杂物。将金相试样抛光后,采用Axio Observer D1m金相显微镜观察,发现试样距外表面深度约0.4 mm处有沿轧制方向分布的裂纹,裂纹内及附近有大量非金属夹杂物,夹杂物大多呈带尖锐棱角的超宽、超长颗粒,呈串链状,按照GB/T 10561—2023《钢中非金属夹杂物含量的测定标准评级图 显微检验法》[2]规定,其属于典型的B类氧化铝类夹杂,如图4所示。使用扫描电镜及能谱仪对夹杂物进行分析,其化学成分主要为O、Al、Mg、Ca等,如图5所示。采用4%硝酸酒精溶液腐蚀后,裂纹处组织无脱碳,基体组织为回火索氏体,如图6所示。
在无缺陷的钢管其他部位切取金相试样,磨制其纵向面,抛光,钢管基体夹杂物评级为A0(细系)、A0(粗系);B0.5(细系)、B0(粗系);C0(细系)、C0(粗系);D0.5(细系)、D0(粗系);DS0级。
在裂纹源区切取20 mm×30 mm的金相试样,将试样放入无水乙醇中超声波振荡清洗10 min,干燥后放入型号Sigma 500场发射扫描电镜样品仓中观察断口。在放大50倍条件下观察试样,裂纹位于管体外壁次表面,距外表面约0.4 mm处,裂纹沿轧向呈线状分布,如图7所示。在放大100倍条件下观察试样,裂纹处可见非金属夹杂物,夹杂物宽度最大达72.4 μm,按照GB/T 10561—2023《钢中非金属夹杂物含量的测定标准评级图 显微检验法》[2]规定,其属于超宽夹杂物。使用扫描电镜能谱仪对夹杂物进行成分分析,其化学成分主要为O、Al、Mg、Ca等,如图8所示。
在PZ100钢级膨胀管探伤缺陷塑性断口上有呈放射状扩展的平坦区域,约占断口面积15%,位于钢管外表面下0.4 mm处,通过断口金相和扫描电镜能谱分析,探伤缺陷处发现大量超尺寸非金属夹杂物,化学成分主要为O、Al、Mg、Ca等,这些超标夹杂物缺陷引起探伤报警。
按来源划分,非金属夹杂物可分为内生夹杂物和外来夹杂物两大类[3]。内生夹杂物颗粒较小,分布比较均匀,当尺寸小于10 μm时,夹杂物可以促进组织形核,还可以提高钢的屈服强度和抗拉强度,且延伸率下降很小。外来夹杂物是金属在熔炼过程中与外界接触发生氧化作用或操作不当保护渣卷入产生的,尺寸比较大,外形不规则,所以又称为夹渣,这类夹杂物通过冶炼正确操作可以避免。
PZ100钢级膨胀管探伤缺陷裂纹处未发现氧化脱碳现象。在连铸过程中,被卷入且来不及上浮的保护渣在凝固前沿被凝固坯壳捕获而形成皮下夹渣,破坏膨胀管基体的连续性,形成夹层,在轧制力的作用下形成裂纹,裂纹未“露头”,未接触空气,不会发生脱碳。
皮下夹渣会恶化钢管的力学性能,降低钢管的塑性、冲击性能和疲劳寿命。如果将带有此类缺陷的钢管下入油井,在油水等流动介质冲刷压力作用下,势必会在此处产生应力集中,导致产生裂纹、穿孔等缺陷,甚至出现爆管等事故。另外,非金属夹杂物也是导致氢致开裂和H2S应力腐蚀的重要原因。PZ100钢级膨胀管用作石油套管,在井下恶劣环境中容易受CO2和H2S等腐蚀,氢原子易于在夹杂物的尖端处聚集形成“氢陷阱”[4],产生鼓泡或裂纹,在氢分子产生的压力下扩展,形成裂纹[5]
夹杂物控制在钢管生产中至关重要,尤其氧化铝类复合夹杂物对于钢管性能有严重影响。从转炉吹炼终碳含量、精炼钙铝比的控制和连铸保护浇注操作等方面,需严格执行工艺操作规程,加强钢坯低倍检验和成品夹杂物检测,确保PZ100钢级膨胀管产品质量。
(1)PZ100钢级膨胀管探伤报警主要与大量聚集的超尺寸非金属夹杂物有关,夹杂物成分主要为O、Al、Mg、Ca等。
(2)连铸过程中形成的皮下夹渣破坏了钢管基体的连续性,恶化钢管的力学性能,降低钢管的塑性、冲击性能和疲劳寿命。
(3)需严格执行转炉冶炼、精炼、连铸和钢管轧制工艺操作规程,加强钢坯低倍检验和成品夹杂物检测,保证产品质量。
