The causes on lower impact toughness of weld for 10 mm thick 700 MPa grade square and rectangular welded pipe welded with high frequency resistance are analyzed with such inspection and analytical equipment as metallographic microscope, impact testing machine, scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectrometer. The results showed that there were such endogenous inclusions as silicate and titanium nitride as well as foreign inclusion that is mainly manganese oxide at the weld, the combined effect of which causes impact absorbing energy at room temperature of weld to be less than 8 J. Subsequently, the weld quality of square and rectangular welded pipe is improved, impact absorbing energy of weld is increased to about 20 J by taking such measures as strengthening control level of steelmaking process and increasing upset force of high frequency resistance welding. In straightening and sizing process, cracking rate of square and rectangular welded pipe is decreased from 8% to 3%.

采用金相显微镜、冲击试验机、扫描电子显微镜及能谱仪等检验、分析设备对10 mm厚700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝冲击韧性偏低的原因进行分析。结果表明,焊缝处存在硅酸盐、氮化钛等内生夹杂物和以氧化锰为主的外来夹杂物,两者共同作用导致焊缝室温冲击吸收功小于8 J;后续采取加强炼钢工艺控制水平及增加高频电阻焊接顶锻力等措施,提高方矩管焊缝质量,焊缝冲击吸收功提高到20 J左右。在矫直定径工序,方矩管的开裂率从8%降低至3%。

采用金相显微镜、冲击试验机、扫描电子显微镜及能谱仪等检验、分析设备对10 mm厚700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝冲击韧性偏低的原因进行分析。结果表明,焊缝处存在硅酸盐、氮化钛等内生夹杂物和以氧化锰为主的外来夹杂物,两者共同作用导致焊缝室温冲击吸收功小于8 J;后续采取加强炼钢工艺控制水平及增加高频电阻焊接顶锻力等措施,提高方矩管焊缝质量,焊缝冲击吸收功提高到20 J左右。在矫直定径工序,方矩管的开裂率从8%降低至3%。

The causes on lower impact toughness of weld for 10 mm thick 700 MPa grade square and rectangular welded pipe welded with high frequency resistance are analyzed with such inspection and analytical equipment as metallographic microscope, impact testing machine, scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectrometer. The results showed that there were such endogenous inclusions as silicate and titanium nitride as well as foreign inclusion that is mainly manganese oxide at the weld, the combined effect of which causes impact absorbing energy at room temperature of weld to be less than 8 J. Subsequently, the weld quality of square and rectangular welded pipe is improved, impact absorbing energy of weld is increased to about 20 J by taking such measures as strengthening control level of steelmaking process and increasing upset force of high frequency resistance welding. In straightening and sizing process, cracking rate of square and rectangular welded pipe is decreased from 8% to 3%.

螺旋耕机作为现代农业生产中不可或缺的土壤耕作设备,其性能直接影响耕作效率、作业质量及效果,作为核心承载部件的螺旋耕机横梁,其性能的优劣直接关系到整机的稳定性及可靠性。螺旋耕机主横梁作为传递动力和承受耕作阻力的关键部分,其对选材的要求较为严格,不但要具备出色的强度和韧性以承受复杂外力,还需拥有极佳的焊接性能和加工适应性。700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管是螺旋耕机横梁常选用的材料之一,长度约为8~10 m。某企业生产的10 mm厚700 MPa级焊接方矩管母材在高频电阻焊接成方矩管时,部分焊接方矩管在矫直定径工序,焊缝出现连续开裂,成材率降低。
虽然冷弯变形工艺和高频电阻焊接工艺在国内已经成熟,但因高频电阻焊接方矩管的生产工序多、流程长,焊缝质量受多重因素的综合影响,焊接工艺参数和原材料质量都对焊缝质量有影响。影响高频电阻焊接焊缝质量的主要因素有焊接边缘状态、焊接压力、频率、焊接方式、输出功率、焊接速度、感应器和阻抗器、水冷条件等,它们之间又相互影响,使得高频电阻焊接方矩管的焊接质量不易控制,焊缝常出现外裂纹、未焊透、错焊及焊瘤过大等焊接质量缺陷[1]。同时母材的内在质量,如钢带组织偏析对焊缝质量的影响更隐蔽,危害更大。所以,螺旋耕机横梁的焊缝质量一直是母材提供商及横梁制造企业重点关注的问题。本文采用金相显微镜、冲击试验机、扫描电子显微镜及能谱仪等检测、分析设备,对10 mm厚大型旋耕机横梁用700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝质量进行评估,并对冲击韧性偏低的原因进行分析,提出改进措施,从而更好地助力企业有效提高生产效率、降低成本,提高产品质量与性能。
螺旋耕机横梁用700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管以某钢厂2 250 mm热连轧产线生产的热轧卷板为原料,其化学成分如表1所示。为保证焊接性能,C元素含量控制在0.06%~0.08%,Mn元素通过固溶及相变强化保证母材的强度,但Mn元素过高,容易导致偏析,所有Mn元素含量控制为1.60%~1.80%,采用Nb-Ti复合微合金化设计来保证材料强度及焊接性能。产品规格为10.0 mm×1 560 mm,其生产工艺流程为:连铸坯加热→高压水除鳞→粗轧→精轧机热连轧→层流冷却→卷取→托盘运输→缓冷→取样、检验[2-3]。为保证母材具有良好的强度、塑性、韧性及焊接性能,板坯的均热温度、终轧温度、卷取温度分别控制在1 200±20 ℃、840±20 ℃、600±20 ℃。
经检验合格的钢卷发往钢管厂用于高频电阻焊接方矩管的生产,其生产工艺为:钢卷开卷→切边→圆盘储料→连续辊压成型→高频焊接→一次刮渣→二次刮渣→焊缝水冷→矫直定径→切割定尺。螺旋耕机横梁用焊接方矩管在切割定尺前需要进行矫直定径,某客户反馈在该工序部分钢管在焊缝处开裂。焊缝的质量决定焊接方矩管的质量,在焊缝处开裂的原因可能为焊缝塑、韧性较低所致,所以需要对焊缝的冲击韧性进行检测分析。
图1为700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管。从母材焊缝正中间取横向夏比V型缺口冲击试样,试样尺寸为7.5 mm×10 mm×55 mm,按照GB/T 229—2020《金属材料 夏比摆锤冲击试验方法》,采用NI750冲击试验机开展室温冲击试验。从焊接方矩管焊缝两侧取母材纵向拉伸试样,按照GB/T 228.1—2018《金属材料拉伸试验第1部分:室温试验方法》,采用WAW-600C电液伺服拉伸试验机开展拉伸试验[2-3]
从焊缝部位取金相试样,经磨制、抛光后,在蔡司Axio observer A1M型光学显微镜下观察及分析夹杂物,经体积分数为4%的硝酸酒精溶液侵蚀后,在显微镜下观察焊缝、母材显微组织及夹杂物。采用蔡司Sigma 500场发射扫描电子显微镜及牛津能谱仪对断口形貌、夹杂物进行观察,并对夹杂物成分进行分析。
表2为螺旋耕机横梁用700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管母材纵向拉伸性能及焊缝室温冲击性能。如表2所示,试验钢母材的屈服强度、抗拉强度、断后伸长率分为684 MPa、758 MPa、23.0%,满足技术协议对700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管母材力学性能的要求,但焊缝室温冲击吸收功仅为7.8 J,虽双方技术协议对方矩管焊缝冲击吸收功没有要求,但该值较低,表明焊缝韧性较差,在焊接方矩管成型的“矫直定径”工序,焊缝上表面受到冲击载荷,焊缝容易从内部开裂,需要进一步分析试验钢焊缝冲击韧性偏低的原因。
从焊缝部位取金相试样,用于母材、热影响区、焊缝显微组织及夹杂物分析,同时用扫描电子显微镜分析冲击断口形貌及夹杂物形态、元素组成等。图2为试验钢母材、热影响区、焊缝的显微组织,图2(a)为试验钢母材显微组织,以铁素体为主,还有少量的珠光体和碳化物;图2(b)热影响区的显微组织为低碳贝氏体,已经发生再结晶;图2(c)(d)为试验钢焊缝的显微组织,以低碳贝氏体为主,焊缝正中间发现长度为30~40 μm的硅酸盐类夹杂物及少量的TiN,硅酸盐夹杂物级别为0.5级,夹杂物长度方向和母材垂直,并平行于焊缝。
图3为扫描电镜下700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝夹杂物的形貌及能谱分析结果。如图3所示,焊缝处的夹杂物主要含有O、Ca、Al、Ti、Zr、Mg、S、Si等元素,特别是Ca元素含量超过40%,Al元素含量在26%左右,Zr元素含量在1.4%左右。根据夹杂物的化学组分及含量推断该夹杂物为Al2O3-CaO-CaS,为钢材冶炼过程中残留的内生夹杂物,在电阻焊接过程中富集到焊缝处,降低焊缝的冲击韧性。
采用扫描电镜及能谱仪对冲击断口形貌进行观察,并对夹杂物成分进行分析。如图4所示,700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝冲击断口具有熔融状的高温断口特征,由孔洞、自由凝固的表面、大量夹杂物及少量韧窝组成。夹杂物成自由凝固状,能谱分析显示该夹杂物元素以O、Mn为主,还有少量的Si、Ti等元素,尤其是Mn含量高达63.99%,而母材中的Mn含量为1.63%,Mn含量明显高于母材,为典型的MnO夹杂物。
高频电阻焊接为非保护性焊接,利用高频电流的集肤效应和邻近效应,把母材边缘加热至熔融状态,在挤压辊的作用下进行焊接。焊缝两侧的母材处于感应加热的高温区域,母材中的Mn元素会与空气中的氧气发生反应,所生成的氧化物通常在电阻焊接的挤压阶段从焊缝排出,若未能排出则会在焊缝内残留形成夹杂物[2]。这些夹杂物因热膨胀系数与母材基体存在差异,当焊缝冷却后,夹杂物与周围基体的界面处会形成微小裂纹,对焊缝的结合强度产生不良影响。由于上述缺陷的存在,焊缝熔合线成为方矩管“矫直定径”工序受力的薄弱环节,方矩管焊缝内侧在矫直应力作用下,极易作为裂纹起始点,最终导致焊缝开裂,降低材料的成材率。
经金相及扫描电镜检测分析,700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝处存在硅酸盐类夹杂物,该夹杂物为母材冶炼过程中残留的内生夹杂物,母材中焊缝附近的硅酸盐夹杂物在高频电阻焊接过中,钢板边缘存在向外的径向力,使焊缝两侧母材中的夹杂物从平行于母材,逐渐向垂直于母材方向偏转,最终方向平行于焊缝。从焊缝冲击断口形貌及能谱分析结果可以看出,断口存在大量的孔洞、凝固自由表面以及焊接灰斑,是高频电阻焊接顶锻阶段由于顶锻力不足导致熔融的氧化钢水未被完全排出焊缝所致。上述缺陷的共同作用导致焊缝的塑性、韧性降低,室温冲击吸收功为7.8 J,当焊缝塑性降低至不足以承受“矫直定径”工序所受的剪切拉应力时,焊缝发生开裂。前期统计700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝的开裂率为8%。
根据上述分析并结合旋耕机横梁用700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管的焊接工艺,主要从三方面进行改进。首先,从母材角度讲,加强炼钢工艺控制,加强铁水预处理以减少有害元素和杂质,精准控制终点成分与温度,连铸阶段采用保护浇注,降低B、C类夹杂物含量及级别。其次,由于冬、春季生产的钢卷容易出现开裂,建议加工企业每年10月底为冬季生产备料。再次,调整焊接工艺参数,焊管顶锻力是影响焊缝质量的一个重要因素,顶锻力过大容易造成冷焊,顶锻力过小易造成熔融金属表面的杂质无法完全挤出,内部残留夹杂物、孔洞等缺陷导致焊缝韧性降低,建议加工企业优化焊接工艺,增加焊接顶锻力。经优化改进,700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝冲击吸收功提高到20 J左右,开裂率降低至3%。
(1)通过母材、焊缝显微组织及夹杂物检测,焊缝断口形貌及夹杂物分析,700 MPa级高频电阻焊接方矩管焊缝室温冲击韧性偏低的主要原因为焊缝部位存在大量孔洞、凝固自由表面及焊接灰斑,以及少量的硅酸盐类夹杂物,上述缺陷的共同作用导致焊缝室温冲击吸收功小于8 J。
(2)通过加强炼钢工艺控制、优化焊接工艺参数等措施,减少母材内生夹杂物及焊接缺陷,提高方矩管的焊缝质量,使焊缝冲击吸收功提高至20 J左右,方矩管开裂率从8%降低至3%。
