The basic pellet with limestone and low reduction expansion rate added 75% Bayan Obo iron concentrate is researched and developed aiming at the special nature of Bayan Obo iron concentrate. It is suggested that the proportion of bentonite is 1.5%~1.8%, alkalinity is 1.15±0.05 and proportion of limestone is 3.5%~3.8% for producing basic pellet with the process of chain grate machine-rotary kiln-ring cooler of Baotou Steel as well as explored the basic pellet is with such process system as good compressive strength, mineral composition and metallurgical properties, which could provide the technical supports for producing it with chain grate machine-rotary kiln-ring cooler of Baotou Steel.

针对白云鄂博铁精矿的特殊性,研发出了配加75%白云鄂博铁精矿的低还原膨胀率的石灰石型碱性球团矿,建议包钢链篦机—回转窑—环冷机工艺生产碱性球团矿膨润土配比为1.5%~1.8%,碱度为1.15±0.05,石灰石配比为3.5%~3.8%,摸索了碱性球团矿获得良好的抗压强度、矿物组成及冶金性能的工艺制度,可为包钢链篦机—回转窑—环冷机生产碱性球团矿提供技术支持。

The basic pellet with limestone and low reduction expansion rate added 75% Bayan Obo iron concentrate is researched and developed aiming at the special nature of Bayan Obo iron concentrate. It is suggested that the proportion of bentonite is 1.5%~1.8%, alkalinity is 1.15±0.05 and proportion of limestone is 3.5%~3.8% for producing basic pellet with the process of chain grate machine-rotary kiln-ring cooler of Baotou Steel as well as explored the basic pellet is with such process system as good compressive strength, mineral composition and metallurgical properties, which could provide the technical supports for producing it with chain grate machine-rotary kiln-ring cooler of Baotou Steel.

包钢矿浆管道输送的超细白云鄂博铁精矿品位高、粒度细,小于48 μm粒级质量分数达90%以上[1-2],用于烧结会导致烧结矿产质量指标变差[3-5],适合作为球团原料。但因其钾、钠、氟含量高,受还原膨胀率制约生产酸性球团矿时白云鄂博铁精矿比例不能超过35%,但制备碱性球团矿,可抑制使用大比例白云鄂博铁精矿球团矿的还原膨胀率。为了实现白云鄂博铁精矿在包钢球团生产中的高效应用,本文针对白云鄂博铁精矿的特殊性,基于包钢链篦机—回转窑—环冷机(以下简称链—回—环)工艺特点,系统进行了实验室试验,研发出了配加高比例白云鄂博铁精矿的低还原膨胀率的碱性球团矿,为包钢降低铁水成本提供技术支持,同时为我国冶金企业利用超细粒度的磁铁精矿和含碱金属的复杂共生矿生产球团矿起到示范引领作用。
试验所用铁料外购铁精矿、白云鄂博铁精矿1、白云鄂博铁精矿2、白云鄂博铁精矿3、细磨石灰石及粘结剂均从生产现场取得,所述原料的化学成分见表1
表1可知,三种白云鄂博铁精矿化学成分差异较大,自然碱度最高的为白云鄂博铁精矿2,可达1.70,其次为白云鄂博铁精矿1,自然碱度为1.46,白云鄂博铁精矿3自然碱度仅为0.18,因此应选择白云鄂博铁精矿2作为生产碱性球团矿的主要铁料,在球团矿碱度不变条件下可显著降低外配熔剂的量,有利于球团矿品位的提高及质量的改善。
基于包钢链—回—环工艺烟气净化能力,根据白云鄂博铁精矿2的S含量及外购铁精矿的S含量,确定了碱性球团生产铁料配置方案为白云鄂博铁精矿2的配比为75%,外购铁精矿配比为25%,为了保证碱性球团矿高的铁品位和低SiO2含量,需采购优质膨润土。因此设计了不同粘结剂种类及配比条件下碱性球团矿制备的试验方案,试验方案中球团矿碱度控制在1.15±0.05,详细方案详见表2
试验结果见表3
表3可知:
(1)在粘结剂配比为1.5%条件下,如果要求落下强度达到5次,只有型号为PYT-5膨润土性能可以满足技术需求;如果要求落下强度达到6次,型号为PYT-5膨润土配比需达到1.8%。
(2)不同种类粘结剂在配比一致的条件下,生球水分稍有差异,主要是由于不同种类膨润土的亲水性不同导致。
(3)配加1.5%及1.8%型号为PYT-5的膨润土制备的碱性球团生球抗压强度均达到10 N以上,可以满足链—回—环工艺对生球抗压强度的要求。
对优选出的试验方案干球性能进行了测定,试验结果见表4
表4可知,两个方案的干球强度为51.1 N、60.6 N,可以承受来自料层的压力和抽风压力,随着粘结剂配比及石灰石配比的提高,干球强度有改善趋势。静态条件下,两个方案的生球爆裂温度均不低于700 ℃,可以满足西区链—回—环工艺需求。
包钢链—回—环工艺在组产5 000 t/天酸性球团矿条件下,料层厚度180 mm,机速2.8 m/min,预热一段烟罩温度为500~520 ℃,预热一段时间为5 min,预热二段温度为(950±20) ℃,预热二段时间为6.5 min。以此为基础,制定了实验室预热球性能测定的工艺参数,如表5所示。
表5可知,制备碱性球团矿为了石灰石在预热段的充分分解,实验室测定预热球性能时在其他工艺参数不变的前提下将预热二段温度提高到1 000 ℃。
对生球性能可以满足链—回—环工艺要求的两个试验方案的预热球性能进行了测定,优选的两个试验方案的预热球性能测定结果见表6
表6可知,在相同预热制度条件下,随着膨润土配比及石灰石配比的提高,预热球抗压强度、预热球转鼓强度及预热球抗磨指数均呈降低趋势,说明石灰石配比提高后,需要增加窑内的喷煤量,系统提高预热段的温度,增加预热段热量供给,以保证石灰石充分分解的热量需求,进一步保障预热球性能。
对优选的两个试验方案的焙烧制度进行了研究,试验结果见表7
表7可知,随着焙烧温度由1 220 ℃提高到1 280 ℃,球团矿抗压强度呈提高趋势,说明配加石灰石后,需增加焙烧段热量供给,以保证铁酸钙矿物生成,从而保证球团矿强度。
对优选的两个方案球团矿的化学成分进行了分析,结果见表8
表8可知:
(1)在球团矿碱度一定的前提下,随着膨润土配比及石灰石配比的提高,球团矿CaO、SiO2含量明显提高,铁品位降低。
(2)由于石灰石作为碱性熔剂具有强烈的亲硫、亲氟特性,在高硫含量铁料条件下,固结在碱性球团矿中的S含量约为0.15%,约占铁料带入S含量的23%,因此可减轻烟气净化系统负荷的23%,相当于混合料带入烟气的S含量由0.65%降低到0.50%。
(3)使用“75%白云鄂博铁精矿2+25%外购精矿”制备的石灰石型碱性球团矿碱金属含量(K2O+Na2O)约为0.20%,随着膨润土配比提高,呈增加趋势。
对优选的两个方案球团矿的冶金性能进行了分析,结果见表9
表9可知:
(1)在“75%白云鄂博铁精矿2+25%外购铁精矿”原料条件下,球团矿碱度达到1.1以上,还原膨胀率可控制在20%以内,说明生产碱性球团矿是可实现球团工艺大比例使用白云鄂博铁精矿还原膨胀率的控制。
(2)当球团矿碱度达到1.1以上,球团矿还原性明显优于酸性球团矿(酸性球团矿还原性一般为30%~40%)。
对优选方案制备的碱性球团矿矿物组成及显微结构进行了分析,显微结构见图1图2,矿物组成见表10
图1图2表10可知:
(1)5#方案球团矿由赤铁矿、铁酸钙、玻璃相、磁铁矿、脉石构成,该球团矿由表及里基本看不见磁铁矿,表明该球团矿氧化程度较好,从里到外完全氧化;气孔率由表及里明显增加,球团矿表层气孔率约为30%,且有明显的赤铁矿晶粒形成的晶桥连接,球团矿中心气孔率高达45%以上;整体铁酸钙从球团矿内部到外部分布较均匀,且在大气孔周围有富集现象。
(2)6#方案球团矿主要由赤铁矿、铁酸钙、玻璃相、磁铁矿、脉石构成,该球团矿由表及里基本看不见磁铁矿,表明该球团矿氧化程度较好,从里到外完全氧化;球团矿表层气孔率约为35%,且有明显的赤铁矿晶粒形成的晶桥连接,球团矿中心气孔率高达50%左右;铁酸钙从里到外分布较均匀;球团矿表面玻璃相明显富集,约为10%左右。
(3)两个方案生产的球团矿相比较,5#方案更优,6#方案球团矿玻璃相明显增加,且在球团矿表面富集,气孔率也明显增加,铁酸钙降低。因此,从矿物结构及组成来看,制备碱性球团矿时,在碱度不变的前提下,应尽量减少粘结剂配比及石灰石配比。
(1)三种白云鄂博铁精矿化学成分差异较大,自然碱度最高的为白云鄂博铁精矿2,碱度可达1.70,其次为白云鄂博铁精矿1,自然碱度为1.46,白云鄂博铁精矿3自然碱度仅为0.18,因此选择白云鄂博铁精矿2作为生产碱性球团矿的主要铁料,在球团矿碱度一定条件下可显著降低外配熔剂的量,有利于球团矿品位的提高及质量的改善。
(2)基于包钢链—回—环工艺烟气净化能力,根据白云鄂博铁精矿2的S含量及外购铁精矿的S含量,确定了碱性球团生产铁料配置方案为白云鄂博铁精矿2的配比为75%,外购铁精矿配比为25%。
(3)综合考虑生球性能、预热球性能及成品球性能,建议使用型号为PYT-5膨润土,其配比需要达到1.5%~1.8%,可以满足包钢链—回—环工艺对生球性能的技术要求。
(4)建议选用石灰石作为包钢链—回—环碱性球团生产的熔剂,在石灰石配比为3.5%~3.8%的条件下,需要增加窑内的喷煤量,系统提高预热段及回转窑的温度,增加热量供给,以保证石灰石分解及矿化的热量需求,从而保证碱性球团矿获得良好的抗压强度、矿物组成及冶金性能。
