In the article, it is introduced the rail is deformed violently in rolling process and internal compactness is changed greatly due to the cross section size of ingot blank increases when rolling 60 kg/m rail using ingot blank with the cross section of 320 mm×415 mm instead of that with the cross section of 280 mm×380 mm in the production of rail. In order to ensure the product quality in rolling process, the roller of each rolling mill is adjusted to ensure stable as rolled state. After rolling the finished products, the macrostructure, microstructure, grain size and impact performance of rail are tested and analyzed with such equipment as the optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and impact testing apparatus. The results showed that the compression ratio of ingot blank was increased by rolling rail with large size ingot blank so that such mechanical properties as grain size and impact of rail could be improved.

文章介绍了在生产钢轨时使用断面为320 mm×415 mm铸坯代替280 mm×380 mm断面铸坯轧制60 kg/m钢轨时由于坯料断面尺寸增加,使钢轨在轧制过程中变形剧烈,内部的致密度发生很大变化,在轧制过程中为保证产品质量,对各轧机的轧辊进行调整,以保证稳定的轧制状态。轧制出成品后通过光学显微镜、扫描电镜、冲击测试仪器等设备对钢轨低倍、组织、晶粒度以及冲击性能进行检验分析,结果表明采用大规格尺寸的铸坯轧制钢轨,提高坯材的压缩比后可以改善钢轨晶粒度及冲击等力学性能。

文章介绍了在生产钢轨时使用断面为320 mm×415 mm铸坯代替280 mm×380 mm断面铸坯轧制60 kg/m钢轨时由于坯料断面尺寸增加,使钢轨在轧制过程中变形剧烈,内部的致密度发生很大变化,在轧制过程中为保证产品质量,对各轧机的轧辊进行调整,以保证稳定的轧制状态。轧制出成品后通过光学显微镜、扫描电镜、冲击测试仪器等设备对钢轨低倍、组织、晶粒度以及冲击性能进行检验分析,结果表明采用大规格尺寸的铸坯轧制钢轨,提高坯材的压缩比后可以改善钢轨晶粒度及冲击等力学性能。

In the article, it is introduced the rail is deformed violently in rolling process and internal compactness is changed greatly due to the cross section size of ingot blank increases when rolling 60 kg/m rail using ingot blank with the cross section of 320 mm×415 mm instead of that with the cross section of 280 mm×380 mm in the production of rail. In order to ensure the product quality in rolling process, the roller of each rolling mill is adjusted to ensure stable as rolled state. After rolling the finished products, the macrostructure, microstructure, grain size and impact performance of rail are tested and analyzed with such equipment as the optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and impact testing apparatus. The results showed that the compression ratio of ingot blank was increased by rolling rail with large size ingot blank so that such mechanical properties as grain size and impact of rail could be improved.

近年来,随着铁路向重载、高速、以及高密度运营方向发展,对钢轨的性能提出了越来越高的要求。因此国内外钢轨标准对钢轨质量提出了更严格的规定,在钢轨的精度、尺寸、表面质量及拉伸性能、延伸率、硬度、低倍组织、落锤、残余应力等内在性能上都有明确的技术要求。重轨属于典型的高碳钢,是构成铁道交通的重要组成部分,铁路运输的安全与效率和其质量的好坏密切相关,作为一种安全可靠、运载量大、低碳环保的运输方式,已经成为世界交通业发展的重要趋势[1]。重载铁路的发展对钢轨质量提出更高的要求,这就必须要求钢轨连铸坯具有良好的表面质量和内部质量[2]
本文研究了通过改变坯材尺寸,从而改变其压缩比来达到提高钢轨质量的目的。试验采用320 mm×415 mm断面铸坯生产钢轨,其压缩比达到17.1,之前采用280 mm×380 mm断面铸坯生产的钢轨压缩比为13.7,通过增加坯材的压缩比,尝试对钢轨表面质量及钢轨内部质量有一定的改善[3],从而改善钢轨致密性。压缩比一般表示连铸坯(钢坯)的平均变形量,由于在加工过程中,钢坯内部各处的变形量不均匀,相对于钢坯厚度来说,轧辊直径较小时,形变只能发生在钢坯的外层,钢坯的心部变形量很小。而为了焊合连铸坯心部疏松,“打碎”连铸坯心部的枝晶,形变必须达到连铸坯的心部[4]。因此,在轧制过程中选择合适的压缩比、保证加热后金属晶粒的均匀性十分重要。
为提高钢轨的压缩比,试验通过使用坯料断面为320 mm×415 mm钢坯生产60 kg/m百米钢轨,坯料断面尺寸较大,变形剧烈,通过合理的孔型设计以及合理的工艺制度来保证轧制的稳定性,使产品质量提高。同时在实践过程中不断完善各项工艺参数,从而稳定轧制状态。
根据60 kg/m钢轨的断面以及该钢轨生产所要执行的标准,结合轨梁厂使用坯料断面为280 mm×380 mm生产60 kg/m钢轨的经验,确定BD1、BD2、CCS各轧机的轧辊孔型系统。使用280 mm×380 mm断面坯料轧制60 kg/m钢轨,压缩比为13.7,采用320 mm×415 mm断面坯料轧制60 kg/m钢轨,压缩比能达到17.1,压缩比提高了3.4。根据坯料断面和成品断面尺寸,BD1采用箱形孔和梯形孔加帽形孔的设计主要目的是减少钢坯断面尺寸,为进一步轧制成轨型毛坯料创造条件[5],如图1所示。
BD2采用3个轨形孔设计,将坯料进一步开坯成轨形坯料,以便于下一工序在万能机组中轧制,如图2所示。
压缩比一般表示连铸坯(钢坯)的平均变形量,为保证产品组织结构和力学性能,通常需通过控制压缩比来达到要求,其数值与产品的最终用途、钢水和连铸的质量密切相关,特别是气体在钢中的含量、夹杂物的形态、连铸的浇注温度、碳化物的不均匀程度等对组织和晶粒度都会有影响。为分析不同压缩比对晶粒度及金相组织的影响,按TB/T 2344—2012标准[6]要求对两种不同尺寸的铸坯生产的钢轨进行取样及检验。显微组织如图3所示,显微组织均为珠光体。
通过对苦味酸侵蚀后两个不同压缩比试样轨头、轨腰、轨底进行晶粒度评定,采用320 mm×415 mm大断面连铸坯轧制的钢轨,轨头晶粒度略细,钢轨晶粒度对比见表1
依据TB/T 2344—2012要求[6],在生产检验基础上选取了部分钢轨以热酸浸蚀为主,以硫印为辅助手段,对不同规格坯材轧制的60 kg/m U75V钢轨进行低倍检验,结果均未发现白点及超限的缩孔残余、分层、异金属夹杂物、内裂、翻皮、肉眼可见夹杂物等缺陷。图4为采用320 mm×415 mm铸坯生产的60 kg/m U75V钢轨低倍照片,图5为采用280 mm×380 mm铸坯生产的60 kg/m U75V钢轨低倍照片。
从低倍照片来看,采用320 mm×415 mm铸坯生产的60 kg/m U75V钢轨轨腰的中心条纹缩短,压缩比较大的坯型轧制的钢轨整体组织结构比压缩比小的坯型组织结构致密均匀。由于较大的压缩比,经热酸浸蚀的钢轨试样显示不出凝固组织结构,几乎看不出有树枝晶。只是头部钢轨低倍试样上呈现较大面积分散分布的空隙和暗点,即一般疏松,钢轨低倍形貌有所改善。
冲击试验按照GB/T 229—2007《金属材料夏比摆锤冲击试验方法》[7]执行。试样横断面尺寸为10 mm×10 mm,长度为55 mm,在试样中部开2 mm U型缺口,开口方向垂直轧制方向,分别在320 mm×415 mm铸坯、280 mm×380 mm铸坯生产的钢轨轨头、轨腰、轨底取冲击试样,在室温下进行钢轨全断面冲击功对比,冲击试样取样部位见图6,对比结果见表2
表2可见,采用两种不同断面连铸坯轧制60 kg/m钢轨,轨头室温冲击功基本相当;采用320 mm×415 mm大断面连铸坯轧制的钢轨,轨腰和轨底冲击功平均高出2~3 J。
(1)采大规格尺寸的铸坯来提高坯材的压缩比可以改善钢轨晶粒度。
(2)大规格尺寸的铸坯生产的60 kg/m钢轨,钢轨低倍有明显改善趋势,轨腰中心疏松改善。
(3)采用大规格尺寸的铸坯生产60 kg/m钢轨,由于提高了坯材压缩比,提高了轨腰及轨底冲击功。
