In the paper, the continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curve of test steel is determined with FORMASTOR-F full automatic phase transformation instrument by taking 38CrMoAl steel as the research object. The results showed that the microstructure at room temperature was proeutectoid ferrite+pearlite when cooling rate was 0.2~ 0.5 ℃/s; the microstructure at room temperature was ferrite+pearlite+bainite and there was a small amount of bainite when cooling rate was 0.5~1 ℃/s; the bainite was formed at the temperature near Bs in the uppermost part of transition zone for bainite and the microstructure at room temperature was upper bainite when cooling rate was 1 ℃/s; the martensite increased continuously and bainite decreased gradually as well as the microstructure at room temperature was mixed microstructure of bainite+martensite when cooling rate was 2~5 ℃/s; the microstructure at room temperature was just martensite when cooling rate was not less than 5 ℃/s, which provide the reference basis for formulating heat treatment process.

文章以38CrMoAl钢为研究对象,利用FORMASTOR-F全自动相变仪,测定了试验钢连续冷却转变的CCT曲线。结果表明:当冷却速度为0.2~0.5 ℃/s时,室温组织为先共析铁素体+珠光体;当冷却速度为0.5~1 ℃/s时,出现少量贝氏体,室温组织为铁素体+珠光体+贝氏体;当冷却速度为1 ℃/s时,在贝氏体转变区最上部,靠近Bs的温度处形成贝氏体,室温下组织为上贝氏体;当冷却速度为2~5 ℃/s时,马氏体不断增加,贝氏体逐渐减少,室温下为贝氏体+马氏体的混合组织;当冷却速度不小于5 ℃/s,室温下组织全部为马氏体。研究结果为热处理工艺的制定提供了参考依据。

文章以38CrMoAl钢为研究对象,利用FORMASTOR-F全自动相变仪,测定了试验钢连续冷却转变的CCT曲线。结果表明:当冷却速度为0.2~0.5 ℃/s时,室温组织为先共析铁素体+珠光体;当冷却速度为0.5~1 ℃/s时,出现少量贝氏体,室温组织为铁素体+珠光体+贝氏体;当冷却速度为1 ℃/s时,在贝氏体转变区最上部,靠近Bs的温度处形成贝氏体,室温下组织为上贝氏体;当冷却速度为2~5 ℃/s时,马氏体不断增加,贝氏体逐渐减少,室温下为贝氏体+马氏体的混合组织;当冷却速度不小于5 ℃/s,室温下组织全部为马氏体。研究结果为热处理工艺的制定提供了参考依据。

In the paper, the continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curve of test steel is determined with FORMASTOR-F full automatic phase transformation instrument by taking 38CrMoAl steel as the research object. The results showed that the microstructure at room temperature was proeutectoid ferrite+pearlite when cooling rate was 0.2~ 0.5 ℃/s; the microstructure at room temperature was ferrite+pearlite+bainite and there was a small amount of bainite when cooling rate was 0.5~1 ℃/s; the bainite was formed at the temperature near Bs in the uppermost part of transition zone for bainite and the microstructure at room temperature was upper bainite when cooling rate was 1 ℃/s; the martensite increased continuously and bainite decreased gradually as well as the microstructure at room temperature was mixed microstructure of bainite+martensite when cooling rate was 2~5 ℃/s; the microstructure at room temperature was just martensite when cooling rate was not less than 5 ℃/s, which provide the reference basis for formulating heat treatment process.

38CrMoAl钢是一种具有良好力学性能的优质氮化钢,其常规热处理工艺为调质加氮化[1]。38CrMoAl钢属于合金结构钢,执行国家推荐标准GB/T 3077—2015[2]。经过调质处理后,用户要求工件硬度值(HRC)不低于45。该牌号钢渗氮速度快,可在短时间内获得较深的氮化层深度,工件具有较高的强度和韧性,表面硬度高,耐磨性好[3],常用于制造承受冲击载荷、往复磨损条件下工作的机械部件,如镗刀杆、磨床主轴、自动车床主轴、螺杆、精密螺丝、精密齿轮、橡塑挤出机上的各种耐磨零件等[4]。在实际生产中,由于用户对该钢材的拉拔性能有一定的要求,因此,有必要研究38CrMoAl钢的连续冷却相变行为,为热处理工艺的制定提供参考。
试验钢的化学成分如表1所示。
某钢厂采用铁水预处理、真空顶底复吹转炉冶炼、CAS控制、LF精炼、VD真空处理、小方坯连铸,经线材厂轧制而成Φ13 mm盘条,对盘条头端进行取样,样品切取长度为300 mm,然后再加工成规格为Φ8 mm×15 mm圆柱体共20个。
CCT曲线是通过FORMASTOR-F全自动相变仪进行测试得到的[5]。先将试样以10 ℃/s的加热速度加热到930 ℃后保温300 s,使奥氏体充分转变,保证奥氏体充分再结晶;然后再分别以0.2 ℃/s、0.5 ℃/s、1.0 ℃/s、2.0 ℃/s、3.0 ℃/s、5.0 ℃/s的恒定冷却速度将试样冷却至室温,其连续冷却转变试验方案如图1所示。当材料在加热或冷却的过程中发生相变时,若高温组织及其转变产物具有不同的比热容和膨胀系数,则相变引起的体积效应叠加在膨胀曲线上,会破坏膨胀量与温度间的线性关系,从而可以根据热膨胀曲线上所显示的变化点来确定相变温度。根据膨胀量-温度曲线确定不同冷却速度下的相变开始点和结束点,即可绘制成CCT曲线。将冷却至室温的试样磨制、抛光及腐蚀后,利用光学显微镜观察其组织形貌特征。
CCT曲线是制定钢材轧制工艺参数的重要参考依据,可以用来分析钢材组织形貌与各项性能之间的关系。在轧制生产时,可以通过CCT曲线制定生产工艺参数,例如轧制出口温度、入精轧温度、终轧温度以及吐丝温度,有效地避免异常组织的产生。
图2为38CrMoAl钢连续冷却转变曲线(CCT曲线)。38CrMoAl钢的各相变临界点Ar1为616 ℃,Ar3为742 ℃,Ac1为767 ℃,Ac3为865 ℃,Ms为376 ℃,Mf为151 ℃。从左到右冷却速度分别为5 ℃/s、3 ℃/s、2 ℃/s、1 ℃/s、0.5 ℃/s、0.2 ℃/s。
图2可以看出,马氏体转变开始温度为376 ℃,转变结束的温度为151 ℃。当冷却速度在0.2~0.5 ℃/s范围内进行连续冷却时,冷却曲线由奥氏体相区进入珠光体+铁素体相区,在此冷却范围内得到的室温组织为珠光体+铁素体的混合组织。当冷却速度为1 ℃/s时,冷却曲线跨过奥氏体相区,进入贝氏体相区,达到室温时得到上贝氏体组织。随着冷却速度的提高,当冷却速度为2.0~5.0 ℃/s时,曲线通过贝氏体转变区,逐渐进入到马氏体相变区,贝氏体转变结束之后,残余奥氏体进行马氏体转变,此冷却速度范围内得到的室温组织为马氏体+贝氏体的混合组织。当冷却速度为5 ℃/s时,冷却曲线由奥氏体相变区直接进入到马氏体相变区,仅发生马氏体转变,该冷却速度为马氏体转变临界冷却速度。
通过镶嵌、抛磨及腐蚀,在蔡司显微镜下观察不同冷却速度时冷却到室温的金相显微组织,显微组织形貌见图3。当冷却速度为0.2~0.5 ℃/s时,显微组织为黑色珠光体+白色铁素体,随着冷却速度的不断增加,铁素体占比加大。当冷却速度为1.0 ℃/s时,开始出现了少量上贝氏体。试验钢在较慢的冷却速度下(0.5~1.0 ℃/s)形成的贝氏体主要为上贝氏体,其特征是由铁素体和碳化物组成的两相非层状混合物,铁素体多呈条状,从奥氏体晶界向晶内一侧或两侧伸展,整体上看呈羽毛状。在较快的冷却速度下(2.0~5.0 ℃/s),贝氏体向马氏体转变,板条状马氏体逐渐增多,在马氏体基体上零星分布着细小的贝氏体,当冷却冷却速度达到5.0 ℃/s后,组织全部均转变为马氏体。
通过CCT曲线测得试验钢的Ac1为767 ℃,Ac3为865 ℃,该钢为模具钢,需要较好的塑韧性。通过热处理可以将索氏体化率提高,来获得更好的塑性。另外,高的强度与韧性可通过调质处理获得。因此,采用调质处理(淬火+高温回火)是38CrMoAl钢最佳热处理方式。试验钢Ac1为767 ℃,为了避免回火进入两相区,高温回火的温度不宜超过Ac1,一般高温回火的温度为500~650 ℃,所以设定高温回火温度为650 ℃。根据经验,合金钢淬火温度一般为Ac3以上40~80 ℃,为了保证中碳合金钢中的合金元素充分溶于奥氏体中,可适当的提高淬火温度,一般控制在Ac3以上60~100 ℃,最后设定其热处理工艺应为淬火温度940 ℃,高温回火温度为650 ℃。
淬火冷却时常用的淬火介质有熔碱、熔盐、淬火油、水以及空气等,这些都是工业化生产容易实现的介质,且水、冷风、油成本低。水是一种冷却能力强、价格低廉、不易变质的淬火介质。油作为淬火介质,生产节奏较为缓慢,油消耗与老化速度也会更快,淬火效果差且易燃。一般情况下,风冷冷却速度为2~5 ℃/s,实际的冷却速度会因天气、环境和样本大小而变化。在工业生产中大多数采用水冷或风冷。38CrMoAl钢用水作为淬火介质。
从试验钢的连续冷却转变过程可以得出,冷却速度大于3 ℃/s时,CCT曲线通过奥氏体相区进入贝氏体相区,贝氏体大多转换为马氏体,马氏体含量逐渐增多,热处理后回火索氏体含量也就越多,含有回火索氏体组织的钢具有优良的综合力学性能,多用于结构零件,如连杆、螺栓、齿轮及轴。
调质处理包括淬火+高温回火,在工业生产中被广泛应用,有利于彻底消除内应力,提高该钢种的塑性和韧性。38CrMoAl钢是典型的模具钢,需要调质处理,提高其塑性和韧性。
(1)试验钢的相变点Ac1为767 ℃、Ac3为865 ℃,Ms为376 ℃,Mf为151 ℃。
(2)当冷却速度为0.2~0.5 ℃/s时,38CrMoAl钢室温组织为先共析铁素体+珠光体;当冷却速度为0.5~1 ℃/s时,出现少量贝氏体,室温组织为铁素体+珠光体+贝氏体;当冷却速度为1 ℃/s时,在贝氏体转变区最上部,靠近Bs的温度处形成贝氏体,室温下为上贝氏体;当冷却速度为2~5 ℃/s时,马氏体不断增加,室温下为贝氏体+马氏体的混合组织;当冷却速度不小于5 ℃/s时,室温下组织为马氏体组织。
(3)结合成本、生产效率、产品性能稳定性及环境保护等方面,建议38CrMoAl钢采用调质处理的热处理工艺,淬火介质为水,淬火温度为940 ℃,高温回火温度为650 ℃。
