In the paper, the technical plan of applying high silicon fluxed limonite in sintering of Baotou Steel is proposed through carrying out the sintering experiment of replacing serpentine with high silicon fluxed limonite aiming at the characteristic of low content of SiO2 in Bayan Obo iron concentrate, which could provide technical support for optimizing the structures of iron charge and flux as well as greatly reducing production costs of sintering production of Baotou Steel. The experiment results showed that the cost of ore proportioning of sintering reduced, but drum strength of sinter decreased by 1.87 percentage points and burn-up increased by 1.06 kg/t by adding 10.2% high silicon fluxed limonite after washing and re-separation into sintering; the cost of ore proportioning of sintering reduced and there were no obvious changes for quality index of sinter by adding 3.4% high silicon fluxed limonite (raw ore), so it was suggested to adopt high silicon fluxed limonite (raw ore) for adjusting the content of SiO2 in sinter.

文章针对白云鄂博铁精矿SiO2含量低的特点,进行了高硅熔剂性褐铁矿替代蛇纹石的烧结试验,提出了高硅熔剂性褐铁矿在包钢烧结使用的技术方案,可为包钢烧结生产优化铁料结构和熔剂结构以及大幅降低生产成本提供技术支持。试验结果表明,烧结配加10.2%水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿,烧结配矿成本降低,但烧结矿转鼓强度降低1.87个百分点,燃耗升高1.06 kg/t;烧结配加3.4%高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿),烧结配矿成本降低,烧结矿质量指标无显著变化,因此建议采用高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)用于调整烧结矿的SiO2含量。

文章针对白云鄂博铁精矿SiO2含量低的特点,进行了高硅熔剂性褐铁矿替代蛇纹石的烧结试验,提出了高硅熔剂性褐铁矿在包钢烧结使用的技术方案,可为包钢烧结生产优化铁料结构和熔剂结构以及大幅降低生产成本提供技术支持。试验结果表明,烧结配加10.2%水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿,烧结配矿成本降低,但烧结矿转鼓强度降低1.87个百分点,燃耗升高1.06 kg/t;烧结配加3.4%高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿),烧结配矿成本降低,烧结矿质量指标无显著变化,因此建议采用高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)用于调整烧结矿的SiO2含量。

In the paper, the technical plan of applying high silicon fluxed limonite in sintering of Baotou Steel is proposed through carrying out the sintering experiment of replacing serpentine with high silicon fluxed limonite aiming at the characteristic of low content of SiO2 in Bayan Obo iron concentrate, which could provide technical support for optimizing the structures of iron charge and flux as well as greatly reducing production costs of sintering production of Baotou Steel. The experiment results showed that the cost of ore proportioning of sintering reduced, but drum strength of sinter decreased by 1.87 percentage points and burn-up increased by 1.06 kg/t by adding 10.2% high silicon fluxed limonite after washing and re-separation into sintering; the cost of ore proportioning of sintering reduced and there were no obvious changes for quality index of sinter by adding 3.4% high silicon fluxed limonite (raw ore), so it was suggested to adopt high silicon fluxed limonite (raw ore) for adjusting the content of SiO2 in sinter.

烧结矿作为我国当前高炉冶炼生产的主要原料之一,其质量好坏对于炼铁生产有着重要的影响[1-3]。因包钢白云鄂博铁精矿为含K2O、Na2O、F的铁精矿[4],SiO2含量较低,烧结工艺为了保证烧结矿SiO2含量控制到5.0%,配加了1%~3%蛇纹石,大幅增加了包钢烧结生产的成本。基于此,本文针对包钢烧结铁料结构,进行了高硅熔剂性褐铁矿替代蛇纹石的烧结试验,试验对高硅熔剂性褐铁矿的物化性能、烧结性能以及所制备烧结矿的冶金性能及矿物组成进行了系统分析,提出了高硅熔剂性褐铁矿在包钢烧结使用的技术方案,可为包钢烧结生产优化铁料结构及熔剂结构同时大幅降低烧结生产成本提供技术支持。
试验用含铁原料主要有由澳大利亚进口的PB粉矿和FMG混合粉矿、包钢自产白云鄂博铁精矿以及水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿,其化学成分见表1
表1可知,高硅熔剂性褐铁矿原矿品位较低,SiO2含量高,为提高品位,降低SiO2含量,采用了水洗重选工艺。高硅熔剂性褐铁矿的原矿经水洗重选工艺后,其品位由42.86%提高至53.69%,SiO2含量由27.72%降低至11.54%,Al2O3含量由1.04%降至0.56%,S含量由0.157%降至0.052%,同时碱金属含量也较原矿有所下降,但P、ZnO出现富集,其中P含量由0.056%升高至0.070%、ZnO含量由0.081%升高至0.127%,Ig也较原矿增加了1.16个百分点。
试验用含铁原料的粒度组成见表2
表2可知,经水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿的粒度变细,1~3 mm粒级占比较原矿增加8.49个百分点,<1 mm粒级占比较原矿增加2.14个百分点,即1~3 mm粒级占比增幅较大。
试验方案见表3
表3可知,在烧结矿碱度为2.05的条件下,控制SiO2含量在5.0%,基准点配料方案为使用蛇纹石调整烧结矿SiO2含量,试验点各方案是不配加蛇纹石,采用高硅熔剂性褐铁矿及水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿调整烧结矿SiO2含量,其中1#方案和2#方案的铁料结构相同,区别在于2#方案是将水洗重选后高硅熔剂性褐铁矿粒度进行了细化(<0.5 mm粒级达到100%)。
各试验点烧结矿化学成分的变化见表4
表4可知,各试验点烧结矿FeO含量为8.22%~8.85%,SiO2含量为4.98%~5.04%,MgO含量为1.97%~2.06%,碱度稳定,说明烧结过程水、碳的控制比较稳定;与配加蛇纹石相比,烧结配加高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)以及水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿后,烧结矿品位均呈升高趋势。
各试验点烧结工艺指标的变化列于表5
表5可知,在水、碳控制条件一致前提下,配加水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿,烧结矿转鼓强度明显降低,燃耗升高,主要原因为水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿在烧结过程中形成的未熔矿石的强度差所致,为了改善其烧结性能,采取将水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿的粗粒级部分细磨,使其<0.5 mm粒级占比达到100%,使其在混合料制粒过程中全部作为粘附粉,促进其在烧结过程的矿化反应,促使其完全矿化,减少未熔区内水洗重选后高硅熔剂性褐铁矿的量,从而达到改善烧结矿强度、提高成品率的目的。
在烧结矿化学成分稳定及烧结垂速控制稳定的前提下,小比例使用高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿),烧结矿成品率略呈下降趋势,其干烧成率、燃耗及转鼓强度指标变化不明显。
各试验点烧结矿冶金性能的变化列于表6
表6可知,烧结配加高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)后,烧结矿还原性较基准点提高5.44个百分点,低温还原粉化率提高5.90个百分点,可见配加熔剂性高硅褐铁矿(原矿)有利于高炉间接还原发展,改善高炉煤气利用;烧结配加高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)后,滴落温度区间降低,滴落区间变窄,原因为在烧结过程高硅熔剂性褐铁矿未完全矿化,导致烧结矿SiO2富集程度高,在软熔过程中,FeO与SiO2反应,形成低熔点橄榄石提前滴落。
对基准、2#及3#三个试验点烧结矿矿相结构和矿物组成进行了分析,其结果如图16表7所示。
图16表7可知:
(1)基准点烧结矿赤铁矿与板状铁酸钙交织结构较为发育(见图1),2#烧结矿橄榄石较为发育,且与磁铁矿和针状铁酸钙形成熔蚀结构(见图2),分布较为均匀广泛,褐铁矿在烧结过程中存在残存颗粒强度差的烧结特性,通过褐铁矿细磨可改善烧结矿矿物组成及结构,从而改善褐铁矿烧结的烧结矿冷态强度。
(2)与基准点相比,3#烧结矿铁酸钙含量提高,且多呈磁铁矿与针状铁酸钙交织结构及赤铁矿与针状铁酸钙交织结构(见图3图4),结晶结构紧密。局部存在橄榄石、赤铁矿及磁铁矿液相交织结构(见图5),此结构中空隙较大,赤铁矿多为颗粒状,连晶强度差,此结构的形成应为大粒度褐铁矿在烧结过程中与碱性熔剂反应生成,对烧结矿转鼓强度不利。
(3)因褐铁矿平均粒度较大,参与矿化反应能力弱,在烧结过程中主要以矿物颗粒中赤铁矿再结晶存在于烧结矿中,进入液相区的SiO2含量较基准点低,有利于白云鄂博铁精矿及细粒度澳矿粉与碱性熔剂发生矿化反应生成磁铁矿与针状铁酸钙熔蚀结构及赤铁矿与针状铁酸钙交织结构,改善铁酸钙的生成、烧结矿强度和还原性。
(4)基准点烧结矿局部存在硅酸二钙(见图6),而2#及3#烧结矿中没发现硅酸二钙存在。分析原因认为蛇纹石平均粒度较高硅熔剂性褐铁矿小,因此在烧结混合料中配加褐铁矿后,SiO2的偏析度较大,与碱性熔剂接触的动力学条件差,不易生成硅酸二钙。
(1)烧结使用水洗重选后的高硅熔剂性褐铁矿调整烧结矿SiO2含量,且该矿在烧结铁料中的配比为10.2%时,可降低烧结配矿成本,烧结工艺指标及烧结矿质量明显变差,烧结矿转鼓强度降低1.87个百分点,燃耗升高1.06 kg/t。
(2)烧结使用高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)调整烧结矿SiO2含量,且该矿在烧结铁料中的配比为3.4%时,可降低烧结配矿成本,烧结矿质量指标无显著变化。
(3)综合考虑烧结矿产质量、有害元素控制及降低烧结生产成本,建议采用高硅熔剂性褐铁矿(原矿)用于调整烧结矿SiO2含量。
