The analysis of chemical components for galvanized plate matrix as well as detection of plating thickness and weight could be completed simultaneously with the glow discharge optical emission spectrometry. The optimal determination conditions are selected and lower limits of determination for each analytical element are determined by comparing and analyzing the results with different electrode sizes, discharge conditions, measured pressure and power; the analytical method for determining matrix composition, plating thickness and weight of galvanized plate is established through comparison of analytical methods as well as precision and accuracy tests.

辉光放电光谱法可同时完成镀锌板基体化学成分分析和镀层厚度、镀层重量的检测。通过对不同电极尺寸、吹扫条件、测定压力及测定功率下的结果进行比对分析,选择出了最佳测定条件,确定了各分析元素的测定下限;通过分析方法间比对,精密度、准确度试验,建立了测定镀锌板基体成分、镀层厚度、镀层重量的分析方法。

The analysis of chemical components for galvanized plate matrix as well as detection of plating thickness and weight could be completed simultaneously with the glow discharge optical emission spectrometry. The optimal determination conditions are selected and lower limits of determination for each analytical element are determined by comparing and analyzing the results with different electrode sizes, discharge conditions, measured pressure and power; the analytical method for determining matrix composition, plating thickness and weight of galvanized plate is established through comparison of analytical methods as well as precision and accuracy tests.

近年来,随着表面分析技术应用与发展,表层分析和逐层分析的重要性日益被分析领域所关注。目前表面逐层成分的定量分析主要采用原子发射光谱(AES)、电子能谱(XPS)、二次离子质谱(SIMS)和辉光放电发射光谱(GD-OES)等技术,其中GD-OES更有优势[1]。辉光放电发射光谱法(Glow Discharge-Optical Emission Spectrometry,GD-OES)是一种依据惰性气体在低气压下放电的原理而发展起来的光谱分析技术[2],逐渐被应用到钢铁领域。镀锌板是为了防止钢板表面遭受腐蚀以延长其使用寿命,而在钢板表面涂以一层锌的薄钢板,广泛应用于家电、汽车、通风和供热等行业[3]。本文采用辉光放电光谱法对镀锌板镀层厚度、镀层重量及元素分布进行分析,可以为钢板镀层产品的开发研究、产品生产工艺参数的优化提供准确的数据支持,从而对生产工艺及产品质量起到指导和保障作用。采用该方法可以同时完成镀锌板镀层厚度、镀层重量及基体化学成分分析,具有操作简便、无损、快速、准确度高、精密度好等优点,可以满足科研及生产分析检测需求,在解决镀锌板材质量异议方面具有很高的应用价值。
GD Profiler2辉光光谱仪:HORIBA JOBIN YVON生产,采用HDD高动态检测器、RF光源,WINXP计算机操作系统下使用Quantum软件。主要工作参数见表1
使用冲床将镀锌板试样压制成直径约2.5 cm的样片,要求试样表面平整无气孔、沙眼、裂纹等缺陷。使用无水乙醇对试样表面进行擦洗,去除表面的油污、粉尘、水迹等,充分烘干。
激发系列标准样品,测量谱线强度,每个样品测定三次,对已有曲线进行校准。标准样品的含量范围涵盖待测元素的含量范围,基体成分应尽可能与待测样品相近。
各元素校正后,α、β见表2,α、β设定范围内为曲线可用,α控制在0.3~3.0,β趋近于0。
试样放于辉光光谱仪激发台后压紧,在表1条件下激发试样。根据试样的溅射强度变化计算镀锌层的厚度,选择积分范围计算各元素的准确含量。
GD-OES工作参数的选择对被测元素的测定有明显的影响,通过对电极尺寸、吹扫条件、电压、功率等进行试验,从而得出最佳工作条件。
仪器可选择的电极有4 mm、7 mm两种,使用两种规格电极对同一含锌镀层试样进行强度与时间测试。试验结果显示,由于7 mm电极远大于4 mm电极,在激发样品进行逐层剥离时需要更高的能量和更长的激发时间;4 mm电极在满足测定的同时可以大大节约测定时间,减少测定所需能量,因而测定选择使用4 mm电极。测试结果见表3
测定紫外区元素C、P、S等时,由于空气对紫外线有吸收作用,需要对光室充高纯氮气以保证获得稳定的测定强度。因此,对充氮气条件进行试验,结果见表4表5。由表4表5测定结果可见,在氮气流量为5 L/min、通氮气时间为24 h时,紫外区元素C、P、S、N、O、H可以得到较大并且稳定的强度值,继续增大流量和通氮气时间,各元素强度保持稳定。因此,为节约氮气并获得稳定的充氮气效果,选定充氮气时间为24 h、氮气流量为5 L/min。
测试不同氮气压力下镀锌板试样激发情况。对测量结果进行计算,观察电压变化对测定强度和测定标准偏差的影响,结果见表6
表6可以发现,在增大测定压力的时候,测定强度也在不断增大,最后增大速度趋于平缓。对相同样品测定11次得到的相对标准偏差也随着压力的增大变小,在650 Pa以后,变化速度趋于平缓,在小范围波动。考虑能耗及测定的稳定性,选定650 Pa为测定压力。
测试不同功率对以镀锌板试样的激发情况。对测量结果行计算,观察功率变化对测定强度和测定标准偏差的影响,见表7。由7试验数据可见,测量强度随功率的增大而增大,最后增大速度趋于平缓,对相同样品测定11次得到的相对标准偏差也随着功率的增大变小,变化速度趋于平缓,因此选定40 W为测定功率。
选择块状纯铁试样作为空白样品,辉光放电条件与分析样品测定条件相同,重复测定11次。每次测量时,空白样品应该预溅射足够长的时间,以取得稳定的信号,每次溅射时要选在空白表面未溅射的区域,测定结果标准偏差的3倍作为基体分析成分的检出限,检出限的5倍作为该方法的测定下限,测定结果见表8
按试验方法对镀锌试样进行化学成分和镀层厚度精密度实验(n=11),结果见表9。由表9的测试结果可以看出,辉光光谱仪对于测定镀锌板试样的深度和各个基体元素含量具有良好的精密度。
采用辉光光谱法对低合金钢标准样品18201a、18202a、18203a进行基体成分测定,结果与标准相吻合,见表10
通过对同一试样采用辉光光谱法和直读光谱法(国家标准GB/T 4336—2016)进行基体化学成分比对测定,二者测定结果一致,满足国家标准要求,结果见表11
为了验证镀层厚度和镀层重量测量的准确度,分别采用表面轮廓仪测量和国家标准GB/T 1839—2008《钢产品镀锌层质量试验方法》进行比对试验,比对结果相吻合,结果见表12。由此可见,采用辉光光谱法可以准确测定样品基体成分、镀层厚度和镀层重量。
辉光光谱法与国家标准火花放电原子发射光谱法和传统化学法测定钢产品镀锌层相比较,具有同时完成钢铁材料镀锌板基体化学成分、镀层厚度、镀层重量的检测,具有操作简便、快速、准确度高、精密度好等优点,可以满足科研产品质量攻关和生产分析检测要求,极大提高工作效率。
