The thermos mechanical control process (TMCP) has been difficult to apply in the field of seamless steel pipe. The control cooling equipment after rolling is developed combining with process flow of seamless steel pipe, the X52N seamless pipeline steel pipe is produced with on-line accelerated cooling after rolling through industrial practices as well as its physical and chemical properties and microstructure are studied. The practices showed that the costly alloy elements did not need to be added into the production with C-Mn steel, microstructure of material was regulated and controlled by on-line accelerated cooling after rolling so as to ensure mechanical properties of material to meet the standard requirements as well as follow-up offline heat treatment was not needed. As a result, the requirements of physical and chemical properties for long distance pipeline steel pipe X52N could be met so that low cost, short process and economic production are realized.

热机械控轧控冷(TMCP)技术一直在无缝钢管领域应用困难,结合无缝钢管工艺流程开发轧后控制冷却设备,通过工业实践采用轧后在线快冷生产X52N无缝管线钢管,同时对其理化性能、组织进行了研究。实践表明,采用C-Mn钢生产无需加入成本高昂的合金元素,通过轧后在线快冷调控材料的微观组织,保证材料的各项力学性能满足标准要求,无需后续离线热处理,满足长距输送管线钢管X52N的理化性能要求,实现低成本、短流程、经济性生产。

The thermos mechanical control process (TMCP) has been difficult to apply in the field of seamless steel pipe. The control cooling equipment after rolling is developed combining with process flow of seamless steel pipe, the X52N seamless pipeline steel pipe is produced with on-line accelerated cooling after rolling through industrial practices as well as its physical and chemical properties and microstructure are studied. The practices showed that the costly alloy elements did not need to be added into the production with C-Mn steel, microstructure of material was regulated and controlled by on-line accelerated cooling after rolling so as to ensure mechanical properties of material to meet the standard requirements as well as follow-up offline heat treatment was not needed. As a result, the requirements of physical and chemical properties for long distance pipeline steel pipe X52N could be met so that low cost, short process and economic production are realized.

热机械控轧控冷(TMCP)技术是通过控制轧制和控制冷却技术相结合,也就是低温轧制和在线热处理的综合处理手段,通过在线连续对热轧组织和轧后组织进行调控,获得理想的实物性能,该技术多用于板材生产[1],如将控轧控冷技术用于无缝钢管生产,特别是轧后采用控制冷却技术,可在降低合金的基础上使钢管的强度和韧性同步增加,实现节约型绿色化生产。但因无缝钢管形状、工艺流程的特殊性和复杂性,导致热轧过程工艺窗口窄,不易实现控制轧制生产,而在线控制冷却技术是热轧无缝钢管领域长期以来的重点发展方向[2],结合包钢自身无缝机组的特点,开发轧后在线控制冷却设备和工艺,实现高品质热轧无缝钢管生产。
中国有着非常丰富的油气资源,而油气输送又是油气行业重要组成部分和生命线,油气输送管道一旦发生破坏失效,不仅影响正常的油气生产和输送,会给人民的生命财产带来巨大的安全隐患和经济损失,还会造成严重的生态环境灾难[3]。X52N管线钢管是油气输送较为常用的牌号,因其在要求高强度的同时还要求有高的韧性,另又严格限制碳当量,因此目前国内无缝钢管厂生产X52N均需添加适量的合金元素Cr、Mo、Nb、V、Ti来控制碳当量和提高钢的强度,同时轧后还需离线热处理来保证材料的冲击韧性。本文采用最为经济的C-Mn钢生产无缝管线钢管,无需添加合金元素,通过轧后在线快冷调控材料的微观组织,保证材料的各项力学性能满足标准要求,无需后续离线热处理,实现低成本、短流程、经济性生产,满足长距输送管线管的理化性能要求,取得了较好的效果[4]
X52N为无缝管线钢管常用牌号,为了确保长距输送管线的运行安全,对X52N无缝管线钢管(以下简称X52N)的拉伸性能、冲击性能、抗内压性、焊接性能等均提出了较高的要求。传统的生产方法均是采用低C、低Mn和适量的合金元素Cr、Mo、Nb、V、Ti中的一种或多种元素来控制碳当量,同时有的还需离线正火来保证钢管强度和韧性的良好匹配。本试验用材料仅采用C-Mn钢生产,不添加其他合金元素,化学成分如表1所示。
试验用钢采用的是内蒙古包钢钢管公司生产的符合表1化学成分要求的连铸圆管坯,通过Ф460 mm PQF机组轧制成规格为Ф457 mm×17.48 mm的光管料,出定径机后直接通过在线加速冷却系统,辊道速度设定为1.0 m/s,共计开启8组冷却器,共计试制20支钢管。定径后温度为958 ℃,控冷入口温度为930~935 ℃,满足850~980 ℃的设计要求;控冷出口温度为620~650 ℃,达到350~650 ℃的设计要求;冷却速度为9.68~9.80 ℃/s,达到7.5~10 ℃/s的设计要求。对第1支、第10支、第20支钢管分别进行头尾四象限拉伸、冲击、组织、晶粒度检验,同时与轧态钢管(未进行在线冷却)性能进行对比。
按照设定的在线快冷参数,对在线快冷后的钢管进行力学性能检测,其中0#表示轧态钢管,1#、10#、20#为过在线快冷处理后的第1支、第10支和第20支钢管,1、2、3、4表示四象限拉伸性能检测结果,结果如图1所示。
图1为X52N轧态和过快冷后拉伸性能对比,其中0#未过在线快冷轧态钢管头端四象限屈服强度为332~345 MPa,尾端屈服强度为345~357 MPa,平均屈服强度为346 MPa,不满足X52N屈服强度不小于360 MPa的要求,抗拉强度和延伸率满足标准API Spec 5L要求[5],1#、10#、20#过在线快冷后3支钢管头尾四象限屈服强度在368~387 MPa区间,均满足标准要求。头尾四象限强度差约为20 MPa,说明钢管在轴向和周向上拉伸性能较为均匀,也表明在线快冷整体控制良好。过在线快冷钢管屈服强度平均值为374 MPa,较未过在线快冷轧态钢管的屈服强度提高28 MPa,屈服强度的提高率为8%。未过在线快冷钢管抗拉强度平均值为556 MPa,过在线快冷钢管的抗拉强度平均值为576 MPa,均能满足标准要求,抗拉强度提高20 MPa,提高率为3.6%,通过在线快冷屈服强度较抗拉强度提高的幅度要大。未过在线快冷钢管的延伸率均值为46%,过在线快冷钢管的延伸率均值为41%,两者相比过在线快冷整体延伸率有所降低,但满足标准要求且富余量大。
对四支钢管的头尾进行4象限冲击性能检测,试验温度为0 ℃,试样尺寸为10 mm×10 mm×55 mm,方向为横向,结果如图2所示。
图2为X52N轧态和过快冷后冲击韧性对比,其中0#未过在线快冷轧态钢管头尾端四象限冲击功为41~97 J,均值为65 J,1#、10#、20#过在线快冷后3支钢管头尾四象限冲击功在32~69 J,均值为48 J,过在线快冷后冲击功较未过在线快冷钢管的冲击功有所降低,两者均满足标准0 ℃横向冲击功不小于27 J的要求。
对4支钢管采用高倍显微镜对晶粒度、组织进行了检测,结果如图3表2所示。
从产品组织来看,未过在线快冷管线钢管0#内壁组织为铁素体(F)+珠光体(P)+少量魏氏组织(W)+混晶,晶粒度约为6级,外壁组织为铁素体(F)+珠光体(P),晶粒度约为7.5级;过快冷系统钢管1#、2#、3#内壁组织为铁素体(F)+珠光体(P)+少量魏氏组织(W)+混晶,晶粒度为6.5级,外壁组织为铁素体(F)+珠光体(P),晶粒度为8级。过在线快冷和未过在线快冷内外表面组织均相同,内表面组织存在混晶,过在线快冷后晶粒发生细化,但细化程度不明显,通过在线快冷,内外表面的带状组织得到明显改善[6]。两者外表面组织均为铁素体(F)+珠光体(P),但通过在线快冷后组织中的珠光体(P)含量明显比未过在线快冷组织中的珠光体(P)含量要多,组织细化和珠光体(P)含量增多使得在线快冷后管线钢管强度增加,但珠光体(P)较铁素体(F)韧性差[7],同时因晶粒细化程度不明显,过在线快冷后钢管冲击韧性有所降低,但满足标准要求。
(1)通过在线快冷,可提高钢管的强度,使得X52N中厚壁产品仅采用最为经济的C-Mn钢生产无需添加合金元素,即可保证材料的各项力学性能满足标准要求,无需后续离线热处理,可进一步降低生产成本,通过低成本、短流程、经济性生产满足长距输送管线钢管的理化性能要求。
(2)通过在线快冷,可一定程度细化晶粒,增加珠光体含量,提高钢的强度,改善钢的带状组织。
(3)通过在线快冷,组织得到一定的细化,但因珠光体含量的增加,使得钢管韧性有一定程度的降低,因此对在线快冷冷却水的大小、钢管的前进速度、终冷温度和性能的匹配还需进一步研究。
