In this paper, the products of 685 and Armox 500T, armor plate BTP500 are selected to compare and analyze. The results showed that the microstructure of armor plate BTP500 produced by Baotou Steel was tempered martensite, original austenite grain was fine, average grain size was 10.5 μm and grain size was uniform. The average hardness of BTP500 steel plate (HBW) is 291~296, which is about 30 higher than that of 685 steel plate. The mechanical performance indexes could fully reach the levels of Armox 500T protective plate, average low-temperature impact absorbing energy at -40 ℃ is 51.6 J, which is higher than that of Armox 500T. The BTP500 steel plate is still with good bullet proof property in the case that it is thinner, which provides the ideal protective material for lightweight of armored vehicles.

选取685、Armox 500T产品与装甲防弹用钢板BTP500进行对比分析,结果表明包钢生产的装甲防弹用钢板BTP500显微组织为回火马氏体,原始奥氏体晶粒细小,平均晶粒尺寸为10.5 μm,且晶粒大小均匀。BTP500钢板的硬度(HBW)平均值在291~296之间,比685钢板平均值高出30左右。各项力学性能指标完全达到Armox 500T防护钢板的水平,-40 ℃低温冲击吸收功平均值为51.6 J,高于Armox 500T的冲击吸收功。BTP500钢板在厚度较薄的情况下仍具有良好的抗弹性能,为装甲车辆轻量化提供了理想的防护材料。

选取685、Armox 500T产品与装甲防弹用钢板BTP500进行对比分析,结果表明包钢生产的装甲防弹用钢板BTP500显微组织为回火马氏体,原始奥氏体晶粒细小,平均晶粒尺寸为10.5 μm,且晶粒大小均匀。BTP500钢板的硬度(HBW)平均值在291~296之间,比685钢板平均值高出30左右。各项力学性能指标完全达到Armox 500T防护钢板的水平,-40 ℃低温冲击吸收功平均值为51.6 J,高于Armox 500T的冲击吸收功。BTP500钢板在厚度较薄的情况下仍具有良好的抗弹性能,为装甲车辆轻量化提供了理想的防护材料。

In this paper, the products of 685 and Armox 500T, armor plate BTP500 are selected to compare and analyze. The results showed that the microstructure of armor plate BTP500 produced by Baotou Steel was tempered martensite, original austenite grain was fine, average grain size was 10.5 μm and grain size was uniform. The average hardness of BTP500 steel plate (HBW) is 291~296, which is about 30 higher than that of 685 steel plate. The mechanical performance indexes could fully reach the levels of Armox 500T protective plate, average low-temperature impact absorbing energy at -40 ℃ is 51.6 J, which is higher than that of Armox 500T. The BTP500 steel plate is still with good bullet proof property in the case that it is thinner, which provides the ideal protective material for lightweight of armored vehicles.

目前我国的装甲防护钢板已经发展了三代[1-3]。第一代炼钢工艺水平较差,主要的钢种为603、GY4、GY5、616等,钢质纯净度较差,硬度较低,抗弹性能、工艺性能等较差;第二代炼钢工艺水平有较大提高,主要的钢种为675、685、695、HB600等,钢质纯净度有所提高,硬度高,抗弹性能较好,但工艺性能较差;第三代炼钢工艺水平达到历史最好水平,主要的钢种为6211、6212等,钢质纯净度好,硬度高[4]。国外典型的防护钢板为瑞典SSAB公司生产的Armox系列钢板[5-6]。经过多年的发展,Armox系列钢板已经形成了Armox 370T、Armox 440T、Armox 500T、Armox 600T、Armox Advance等多个钢种。
包钢利用特有的稀土资源优势,通过稀土微合金化成分设计,冶炼、轧制、热处理等生产工艺流程参数设计和小批量工业化试制,成功研发并生产出装甲防弹钢板BTP500。本文选取装甲防弹用钢板BTP500与685、Armox 500T产品进行对比分析。
装甲防弹钢板BTP500生产工艺流程为:铁水预处理→转炉顶底复吹冶炼→LF炉外精炼→RH真空脱气→板坯连铸→堆垛缓冷→板坯加热→除鳞→粗轧轧制→精轧轧制→ACC冷却→矫直→探伤→精整→钢板表面质量检查→表面抛丸→热处理→取样检验→成品入库。
装甲防弹用钢板BTP500的化学成分和力学性能如表1表2所示。
从低温回火后685和BTP500钢板适当位置上选取金相试样,试样经剪切打磨、抛光后用4%硝酸酒精溶液腐蚀表面,采用蔡司显微镜观察显微组织。如图1所示,685钢板和BTP500钢板的显微组织均为回火马氏体。

对比图2中的685和BTP500钢板原始奥氏体晶粒尺寸可以看出,685钢板晶粒较大,平均晶粒尺寸为16 μm,且685钢板的晶粒间尺寸差异较大,晶粒尺寸均匀性较差。而BTP500钢板原始奥氏体晶粒细小,平均晶粒尺寸为10.5 μm,且晶粒大小均匀。
造成685和BTP500钢板原始奥氏体晶粒差异的主要原因是生产工艺的不同[7]。685钢板采用传统热连轧机组生产,轧制速度快,钢板终轧及卷取温度高,原始奥氏体晶粒较大,且卷取后钢卷散热慢,使得钢卷在较长时间内处于高温状态,发生了奥氏体晶粒长大和自回火现象;而包钢生产的装甲防弹钢板BTP500采用宽厚板轧机生产,轧制节奏慢,终轧温度低,晶粒较小,且终轧钢板在空气中快速冷却,抑制了奥氏体晶粒长大[8-9],这一点从轧态钢板的硬度上可以充分体现,如表3所示。BTP500钢板的硬度(HBW)平均值在291~296之间,比685钢板平均值高出30左右。
表4为瑞典SSAB公司生产的Armox 500T、国内685钢板和包钢生产的BTP500产品的常规性能对比。
表4可见,对比BTP500和Armox 500T、685钢板的常规性能发现,BTP500钢板的各项力学性能指标完全达到Armox 500T防护钢板的水平。相对而言,BTP500有着较好的塑性、韧性。BTP500断后延伸率为9.0%,-40 ℃低温冲击吸收功平均值为51.6 J,高于Armox 500T钢板的冲击吸收功。
表5为瑞典SSAB公司生产的Armox 500T、国内685钢板和包钢生产的BTP500产品的抗弹性能对比。
表5可见,9.7 mm、9.2 mm、9.1 mm厚BTP500钢板抗弹性能与Armox 500T进口钢板处于同一水平;6.3 mm、6.1 mm厚BTP500钢板的安全防护距离与685钢板处于同一水平。整体而言,BTP500钢板在较薄厚度的情况下仍具有良好的抗弹性能,为装甲车辆轻量化提供了理想的防护材料。

(2)BTP500钢板的各项力学性能指标达到Armox 500T防护钢的水平,-40 ℃低温冲击吸收功平均值为51.6 J,高于Armox 500T的冲击吸收功。
(3)BTP500钢板在较薄厚度的情况下仍具有良好的抗弹性能,为装甲车辆轻量化提供了理想的防护材料。
