In this paper, the continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curve of X80 pipeline steel researched and developed in laboratory is determined. The determination results showed that the ideal microstructure of X80 pipeline steel could be obtained when cooling rate was 5~30 ℃/s, which was granular bainite + ferrite bainite + a small quantity of martensite/austenite island; the microstructure transformation was basically completed when finish cooling temperature was 450 ℃. The determination of CCT curve could provide references for subsequent optimization of composition design, establishment of process parameters and control of microstructure.

In this paper, the continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curve of X80 pipeline steel researched and developed in laboratory is determined. The determination results showed that the ideal microstructure of X80 pipeline steel could be obtained when cooling rate was 5~30 ℃/s, which was granular bainite + ferrite bainite + a small quantity of martensite/austenite island; the microstructure transformation was basically completed when finish cooling temperature was 450 ℃. The determination of CCT curve could provide references for subsequent optimization of composition design, establishment of process parameters and control of microstructure.

近年来随着对油气资源的不断开发,对大口径高级别管线钢的抗低温断裂能力的要求也相对提高[1-2]。X80级别管线钢的CCT曲线反映了X80管线钢在连续冷却条件下过冷奥氏体的转变规律。动态CCT曲线的检测是分析转变过程中产物组织与性能的依据[3-5],也是管线钢产品研发过程中制订其轧制工艺参数的数据来源。
与常规产品相比,X80管线钢不仅要求具有高强度和高韧性,还要具备良好的焊接性能[6]。包钢2 250 mm热轧生产线在生产X80管线钢过程中,除了在前序冶炼过程中采用精炼手段获得满足要求的钢水条件外,在热轧轧制方面还需要采用严格的控轧控冷工艺。本文在实验室设计研发X80管线钢时,在制定热轧生产工艺参数之前,对其连续冷却转变曲线(CCT曲线)进行测定,为后续成分设计优化、工艺参数制定和组织控制提供借鉴。
X80试验钢化学成分见表1
将试验钢加工成Φ10 mm×80 mm的圆柱体热压缩试样,将试样以10 ℃/s的速度加热到1 180 ℃,保温5 min,使试样奥氏体化;然后以5 ℃/s冷却速度冷却至变形温度820 ℃,变形30%,变形速率为1 s-1;变形后分别以0.5、1、2、5、10、15、20、30、40 ℃/s的冷却速度冷却至室温,采集温度、时间、膨胀量等试验数据,并对试验样品进行金相观察,绘制动态CCT曲线。动态CCT曲线测定工艺如图1所示。

图2给出了试验钢动态CCT曲线。由曲线可以看出,冷却速率为5~30 ℃/s,X80管线钢可以获得理想组织,组织类型为粒状贝氏体+铁素体贝氏体+少量马氏体/奥氏体岛,同时终冷温度为450 ℃,组织转变基本完成。
不同冷速下试验钢的金相组织如图3所示。
图3给出了试验钢经单道次变形后在不同冷速下的转变组织。冷速为0.5 ℃/s时,金相组织主要由多边形铁素体和少量珠光体组成,同时观察到极少量的针状铁素体。冷速为1 ℃/s时,金相组织以针状铁素体为主,珠光体消失,但仍可见一定的比例的多边形铁素体。冷速升高到2 ℃/s时,金相组织完全转变为粒状贝氏体,另外,组织中的马氏体/奥氏体岛较为粗大,多呈粒状和短杆状,而且随着冷速增大,粒状贝氏体及马氏体/奥氏体岛逐渐细化。冷速升高到5 ℃/s时,转变组织以粒状贝氏体为主,同时出现少量的铁素体贝氏体。冷速升高到30 ℃/s时,转变组织以铁素体贝氏体为主,同时出现少量的马氏体。
分别选择在750 ℃、800 ℃、850 ℃、900 ℃及950 ℃变形40%后,以10 ℃/s冷却到200 ℃。记录相变过程的膨胀量变化,观察相变后的光学显微组织及SEM扫描形貌。图4为不同温度变形冷却后的扫描组织形貌。
图4看出,随变形温度的降低,组织细化,马氏体/奥氏体组元也得到细化,但体积分数变化不明显。
通过对金相及扫描组织分析可知,当试验钢在950 ℃变形时,存在较多的块状组织,组织中分布大量不规则的马氏体/奥氏体组元,多种组织混合存在,有粒状贝氏体组织、针状铁素体组织,基体中沿奥氏体晶界还分布着一些多边形、准多边形铁素体组织;在900 ℃变形时,组织中粗大的块状组织及多边形铁素体组织减少,针状铁素体量增加;到850 ℃时组织主要为针状铁素体加一些粒状贝氏体类组织,并弥散着细小的马氏体/奥氏体组元。随温度继续降低,针状铁素体组织变细,针状板条特征更明显,但基体中仍存在粒状贝氏体组织。变形温度较高时,变形回复程度大,由于变形而产生的位错及缺陷被减弱或消除[7-8],从而转变后组织较低温变形后组织粗大,有块状组织、多边形铁素体组织产生;而当在温度相对较低时应变累积增加,对变形后立即淬水试样观察可知原始奥氏体晶粒内部存在着大量的变形带,其数量远多于高温变形情况,增加了组织转变的形核位置[9],因此形成针状铁素体的组织极细。
(1)X80试验钢经单道次变形后在不同冷速下的转变组织不同。
(2)冷却速度为5~30 ℃/s,X80管线钢可以获得理想组织,组织类型为粒状贝氏体+铁素体贝氏体+少量马氏体/奥氏体岛,同时终冷温度为450 ℃,组织转变基本完成。
(3)随变形温度降低,X80试验钢组织细化,马氏体/奥氏体组元也得到细化。
