The contents of calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, magnesium oxide, phosphorus and sulfur in metallurgical lime are determined by means of fusion sample preparation-X-ray fluorescent spectrometry. The optimum experimental conditions are determined by analyzing the influences of such factors as fusing agent, release agent, dilution ratio, melting time and temperature on the determination results. Meanwhile, the calibration curves of each element are drawn with standard samples and self-made standard samples with appropriate contents as well as the correlation coefficients are all over 0.999. The experimental samples are determined with test methods. The results showed that the measured and theoretical values of each element could meet the requirements of tolerances as well as relative standard deviations of each element in precision experiment were all less than 5%, which was with higher accuracy and precision. The operation of loss on ignition is not needed for preparing fusion samples in this method so that the experimental processes are greatly simplified and work efficiency is effectively improved, which is with certain promotional and application values.

采用熔融制样-X射线荧光光谱分析法测定冶金石灰中氧化钙、二氧化硅、氧化镁、磷、硫的含量。通过分析熔剂、脱模剂、稀释比、熔融时间、熔融温度等因素对测定结果的影响,确定了最佳实验条件,同时采用标准样品及自制合适含量的标准样品进行了各元素校准工作曲线的绘制,其相关系数均达到0.999以上。采用实验方法测定实验样品,结果表明各元素测定值与理论值满足允许差要求,精密度实验中各元素相对标准偏差均小于5%,具有较高的准确度及精密度。该方法在进行熔融样品制备时不需要灼烧减量的操作,大大简化了实验流程,有效提高了工作效率,具有一定的推广应用价值。

采用熔融制样-X射线荧光光谱分析法测定冶金石灰中氧化钙、二氧化硅、氧化镁、磷、硫的含量。通过分析熔剂、脱模剂、稀释比、熔融时间、熔融温度等因素对测定结果的影响,确定了最佳实验条件,同时采用标准样品及自制合适含量的标准样品进行了各元素校准工作曲线的绘制,其相关系数均达到0.999以上。采用实验方法测定实验样品,结果表明各元素测定值与理论值满足允许差要求,精密度实验中各元素相对标准偏差均小于5%,具有较高的准确度及精密度。该方法在进行熔融样品制备时不需要灼烧减量的操作,大大简化了实验流程,有效提高了工作效率,具有一定的推广应用价值。

X射线荧光光谱分析  /  冶金石灰  /  玻璃融片法

The contents of calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, magnesium oxide, phosphorus and sulfur in metallurgical lime are determined by means of fusion sample preparation-X-ray fluorescent spectrometry. The optimum experimental conditions are determined by analyzing the influences of such factors as fusing agent, release agent, dilution ratio, melting time and temperature on the determination results. Meanwhile, the calibration curves of each element are drawn with standard samples and self-made standard samples with appropriate contents as well as the correlation coefficients are all over 0.999. The experimental samples are determined with test methods. The results showed that the measured and theoretical values of each element could meet the requirements of tolerances as well as relative standard deviations of each element in precision experiment were all less than 5%, which was with higher accuracy and precision. The operation of loss on ignition is not needed for preparing fusion samples in this method so that the experimental processes are greatly simplified and work efficiency is effectively improved, which is with certain promotional and application values.

冶金石灰是炼钢造渣的重要原料之一,具有造渣和脱硫的功效,活性冶金石灰的表面积相对较大,反应性也相对较强,稀土钢板材厂应用活性冶金石灰进行钢铁冶炼,可以有效的减少石灰的用量。能够准确、快速地检测其化学成分,对炼钢工艺的质量、流程控制有着重要的指导意义。
由于冶金石灰极易吸水,传统化学分析方法采用化学容量法EDTA滴定氧化钙、氧化镁的含量,采用容量比色法测定二氧化硅、磷的含量,采用红外碳硫法测定硫的含量,分析5种元素需要4种方法[1-4],4名化学检验员,而且这些方法操作过程繁琐,分析流程长,需溶样处理样品,对操作人员的技能要求比较高,其中硫元素的检测容易偏低,磷元素的检测方法必须严格控制实验的温度和酸度,测定结果容易受人员及试剂因素的影响。熔融制样-X射线荧光光谱法测定白云石、石灰石、冶金石灰中各元素含量的方法之前也有类似的报道[5-7]。本实验方法采用不灼烧减量直接称量试样进行熔融制样的方法快速进行测定,高温熔融可消除试样粒度效应,利用软件对工作曲线进行基体校正和谱线重叠干扰校正,最大程度消除元素干扰、谱线干扰的影响,测定结果准确、可靠。
熔融炉:HNJC-L4E全自动玻璃熔融炉(洛阳海纳检测仪器有限公司);MXF-2400型X射线荧光光谱仪(日本岛津公司);铂金坩埚模具(Pt95%+Au5%)。
熔融炉设备参数见表1
X射线荧光光谱仪采用4.0 kW端窗銠靶X光管,真空光路P10气(亚甲烷气体)的出口压力为0.025 MPa,具体参数见表2
无水四硼酸锂;无水偏硼酸锂;碘化铵:30%;实验所用标准样品(编号、各组分及含量及研制单位)见表3,合成标准样品见表4。所用试剂均为分析纯,实验室用水均为蒸馏水。
快速准确称取试样0.700 0 g和7.000 0 g混合熔剂(67%Li2B4O7+33%LiBO2)于50 mL瓷坩埚中,搅拌均匀,倒入铂金皿中,加入10~14滴碘化铵溶液(30%),放入已升温至1 050±10 ℃的HNJC-L4E全自动玻璃熔融炉中按照设定程序进行熔融后取出置于石棉板上,冷却后在样品非待测表面用记号笔编号或者粘贴标识,必须注意分析面光滑平整,玻璃片内部无气泡和未熔小颗粒等杂质,放入干燥器待测。
本方法采用无水四硼酸锂、无水偏硼酸锂熔剂分别按0∶100、100∶10、33∶67、67∶33、12∶22、22∶12的比例进行实验,根据熔融后的玻璃片状态,无水四硼酸锂与无水偏硼酸锂比例分别为0∶100、33∶67、12∶22、22∶12都有不熔物,无水四硼酸锂与无水偏硼酸锂比例为100∶0和 67∶33,都可以将样品完全熔融。偏硼酸锂有一定降低熔点的作用,综合考虑,为了确保硫元素的准确测定,熔剂中至少要有偏硼酸锂,综合考虑最终选择采用比例为67∶33无水四硼酸锂和无水偏硼酸锂作为最终的熔剂。
本方法使用30%LiBr、NH4I、KI,都可以使样品顺利完整的从模具上脱离下来,钾离子会影响氧化钙测定的准确性,综合考虑,采用30%的NH4I作为脱模剂。
根据实验数据,荧光强度随着稀释比的增大强度会减小,在操作过程中发现稀释比太低,玻璃融片不易形成均匀的圆形,操作者需要有一定的经验,不易于以后推广应用到实际生产中;稀释比太高,样品的精密度不佳。本方法通过稀释比的精密度实验,发现稀释比为1∶10时精密度是最好的,即0.700 0 g试样匹配7.000 0 g混合熔剂为最优方案。
影响实验结果的因素还有熔融温度、熔融时间、脱模剂量三因素,分别进行四水平实验,选择适宜的正交实验方案(其中熔融时间不包括预熔的2 min,表中的时间为摇摆、转动时间),各因素各水平影响因素设置见表5
以氧化钙的正交试验为例,影响因素从大到小依次为熔融时间、熔融温度、脱模剂量。关注度依次为熔融时间、熔融温度、脱模剂滴数。测定结果见表6
综合正交实验结果表明,综合5种元素选出最优方案为熔融温度为1 050℃、熔融时间为13 min(预熔2 min,共计15 min)、脱模剂量为13~15滴。但是为了准确测定硫元素,根据经验熔融温度要不超过1 000 ℃,所以本方法又做了补充实验。用石灰石标准样品、冶金石灰样品用本方法与化学法GB/T 3286.7—2014《石灰石及白云石化学分析方法第7部分:硫含量的测定管式炉燃烧-碘酸钾滴定法、高频燃烧红外吸收法和硫酸钡重量法》作比较,或与标准值作比较,实验数据差值满足现场检测要求。具体数据见表7
目前在用冶金石灰硫含量一般为0.03%~0.05%,市售石灰石标准样品的硫最高,大约为0.2%,因为冶金石灰属于灼烧后产物,而且硫含量比较低,结合熔剂比例,再加上实验数据可见,方法范围内熔融温度为1 050 ℃的冶金石灰中的硫无明显挥发,所以熔融温度确定为1 050 ℃。
准确称取10个以上标准物质或合成标准物质按照最佳实验条件熔融样品,以强度值为纵坐标,样品的百分含量为横坐标,绘制工作曲线。建立了测定元素的工作曲线。相关系数和线性范围见表8
选取编号为YSB 14769—96的石灰石标准样品称取1.200 0 g,按最佳实验条件分别制备11个样片连续进行测量,计算其相对标准偏差均小于5%,结果见表9
通过选取与生产样品含量相近的自制石灰石、石灰石控制样,和理论值进行准确度验证实验,结果见表10。从表10结果可见,自制控制样品的测定值与理论值具有良好的一致性。
采用1个自制控制样品和4个生产试样与化学法进行比对,本方法与化学法比对结果良好,结果见表11
采用熔融制样-X射线荧光光谱法对冶金石灰主次成分进行测定,测定结果稳定可靠。本方法与传统化学法相比较,在满足检测范围、精密度、准确度要求的同时,大大缩短了分析时间。传统的化学分析法分析一件样品需要4人同时分析,平均用时8 h出具结果,而用本方法熔融后在X-射线荧光光谱仪上分析,从制样、熔样、检测到打印结果只需要1人独立操作3 h,大大提高了工作效率,有效消除元素干扰、谱线干扰等,满足现场快速生产的需要。目前熔融制样-X射线荧光光谱法测定冶金石灰中氧化钙、二氧化硅、氧化镁、磷、硫已经完全代替化学法投入到生产中。
